16 ULB यास्तव सेनाधीश परमेश्वर देव, प्रभू असे म्हणतो, “सर्व चव्हाट्यावर रडणे असेल, आणि गल्लोगल्ली लोक हाय हाय करतील, आणि ते शेतकऱ्याला शोक करायला आणि विलाप करण्यात चतुर असलेल्यांना आक्रोश करायला बोलवून आणतील. BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Hosts, the Lord, says: “There will be wailing in all the public squares and cries of ‘Alas! Alas!’ in all the streets. 20 ULB परमेश्वराचा दिवस प्रकाश न होता अंधार होणार नाही काय? प्रकाशाचा एक किरण नसलेला व त्यामध्ये काही तेज नाही असा असेल. BSB BSB: Will not the Day of the LORD be darkness and not light, even gloom with no brightness in it?
21 ULB “मला तुमच्या सणांचा तिरस्कार वाटतो, मी ते मान्य करणार नाही. तुमच्या धार्मिक सभा मला आवडत नाहीत. BSB BSB: “I hate, I despise your feasts! I cannot stand the stench of your solemn assemblies.

23 ULB तुमच्या गाण्यांच्या कोलाहल येथून दूर न्या, तुमच्या वीणांचा आवज मी ऐकणार नाही. BSB BSB: Take away from Me the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps.
24 ULB तर जलांप्रमाणे न्याय व न्यायीपण अविरतपणे वाहणाऱ्या प्रवाहाप्रमाणे वाहो. BSB BSB: But let justice roll on like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
25 ULB इस्राएल, वाळवंटात, चाळीस वर्षे तू मला यज्ञ व दाने अर्पणे करत होता काय? BSB BSB: Did you bring Me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
26 ULB तुम्ही तर आपल्या राजाचा डेरा व तुमच्या मूर्तीचा देव्हारा, आपणासाठी केलेला तुमच्या देवाचा तारा, ही वाहून न्याल. BSB BSB: You have taken along Sakkuth your king and Kaiwan your star god, the idols you made for yourselves.
