1 ULB अलीहू बोलणे चालू ठेवून म्हणाला, BSB BSB: And Elihu continued:
2 ULB “तू मला आणखी थोडे बोलण्याची परवानगी दे कारण मला देवाच्या बाजूने आणखी बोलायचे आहे. BSB BSB: “Bear with me a little longer, and I will show you that there is more to be said on God’s behalf.
3 ULB मी माझे ज्ञान सगळ्यांना वाटतो देवाने मला निर्माण केले आणि देव न्यायी आहे हे मी सिध्द करेन. BSB BSB: I get my knowledge from afar, and I will ascribe justice to my Maker.
4 ULB खरोखर, माझे शब्द खोटे असणार नाहीत, कोणीतरी ज्ञानाने समजूतदार असा तुम्हाबरोबर आहे. BSB BSB: For truly my words are free of falsehood; one perfect in knowledge is with you.
5 ULB देव अतिशय सामर्थ्यवान आहे, पण तो लोकांचा तिरस्कार करीत नाही तो सामर्थ्यवान असून फार सूज्ञ आहे. BSB BSB: Indeed, God is mighty, but He despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding.
6 ULB तो दुष्टांना वाचवीत नाही, तर तो त्याऐवजी जे दुःखात आहेत त्यांच्यासाठी चांगले ते करतो. BSB BSB: He does not keep the wicked alive, but He grants justice to the afflicted.
7 ULB जे लोक योग्य रीतीने वागतात त्यांच्यावर देव नजर ठेवतो. तो चांगल्या लोकांस राज्य करु देतो. तो चांगल्यांना सदैव उंच करतो. BSB BSB: He does not take His eyes off the righteous, but He enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever.
8 ULB जर, साखळदंडानी ठेवले, जर त्यांना त्रासाच्या दोऱ्यांनी बांधून ठेवले BSB BSB: And if men are bound with chains, caught in cords of affliction,

12 ULB परंतु जर त्यांनी ऐकले नाही तर ते तलवारीने नाश पावतील, त्यांना ज्ञान न होता मरण येईल. BSB BSB: But if they do not obey, then they perish by the sword and die without knowledge.
13 ULB जे लोक देवाची पर्वा करीत नाहीत ते सदा कटू (रागावलेले) असतात. देवाने जरी त्यांना बांधले तरी ते देवाकडे मदत मागायला तयार नसतात. BSB BSB: The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when He binds them, they do not cry for help.
14 ULB ते अगदी तरुणपणी मरतील, त्यांचे जीवन कंलकीत होऊन संपेल. BSB BSB: They die in their youth, among the male shrine prostitutes.
15 ULB परंतु देव दु:खी लोकांस त्यांच्या दु:खातून सोडवील विपत्तीच्या द्वारे कानउघडणी करतो. BSB BSB: God rescues the afflicted by their affliction and opens their ears in oppression.
16 ULB खरोखर, त्यास तुला दुःखातून काढायला आवडते व अडचण नसलेल्या मोकळ्या जागी नेतो, आणि तुझ्या जेवणाच्या टेबलावर भरपूर पौष्टीक अन्न ठेवले असते. BSB BSB: Indeed, He drew you from the jaws of distress to a spacious and broad place, to a table full of richness.
17 ULB परंतु आता तुला अपराधी ठरवण्यात आले आहे, दोषारोप व न्याय तुलाच धरतात. BSB BSB: But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have seized you.
18 ULB तू श्रीमंतीमुळे मूर्ख बनू नकोस. लाच तुला न पकडो आणि न्यायापासून दुर घेवून जावो. BSB BSB: Be careful that no one lures you with riches; do not let a large bribe lead you astray.
19 ULB आता तुझ्या सपंत्तीचा तुला काही नफा होईल काय, म्हणजे तू दुःखी होणार नाहीस किंवा तुझ्या सर्व सामर्थ्याचा तुला काही उपयोग होईल काय? BSB BSB: Can your wealth or all your mighty effort keep you from distress?
20 ULB दुसऱ्या विरूद्ध पाप करण्यास तू रात्र होण्याची इच्छा मनी बाळगू नकोस, लोक रात्री पसार होण्याची वेळ प्रयत्न करतात. BSB BSB: Do not long for the night, when people vanish from their homes.
21 ULB काळजीपूर्वक रहा पापाकडे वळू नकोस. कारण तुझी त्रासातून परीक्षा झाली आहे, म्हणून तू पापापासुन दुर रहा. BSB BSB: Be careful not to turn to iniquity, for this you have preferred to affliction.
22 ULB पाहा, देव त्याच्या सामर्थ्याने सर्वोच्च आहे. त्याच्या समान कोण शिक्षक आहे? BSB BSB: Behold, God is exalted in His power. Who is a teacher like Him?
23 ULB त्याच्या मार्गाबद्दल त्यास कोण सुचीत करील? ‘देवा तू अयोग्य केलेस’ असे कोणी त्यास म्हणू शकत नाही. BSB BSB: Who has appointed His way for Him, or told Him, ‘You have done wrong’?
24 ULB त्याने जे काही केले त्याबद्दल लोकांनी त्याच्या स्तुतीवर अनेक गाणी रचली आहेत. BSB BSB: Remember to magnify His work, which men have praised in song.
25 ULB त्याने कार्य केले ते प्रत्येक मणुष्याला दिसते. दूरदूरच्या देशांतील लोकांसही देवाचे महान कार्य दिसतात. BSB BSB: All mankind has seen it; men behold it from afar.
26 ULB होय, देव महान आहे परंतु त्याची महानता आपल्याला कळत नाही. आम्ही त्याच्या वर्षाची संख्या पाहाणे अशक्य आहे. BSB BSB: Indeed, God is great—beyond our knowledge; the number of His years is unsearchable.
27 ULB तो पृथ्वीवरुन पाणी घेऊन त्याचे धुके आणि पाऊस यामध्ये रुपांतर करतो. BSB BSB: For He draws up drops of water which distill the rain from the mist,
28 ULB अशा रीतीने ढग पाऊस पाडतात आणि तो खूप लोकांवर पडतो. BSB BSB: which the clouds pour out and shower abundantly on mankind.
29 ULB खरोखर, तू समजो शकतो का तो ढगांची पाखरण कशी करतो आकाशात ढगांचा गडगडाट कसा होतो? BSB BSB: Furthermore, who can understand how the clouds spread out, how the thunder roars from His pavilion?
30 ULB बघ, तो विजेला पृथ्वीवर सर्वदूर पाठवतो आणि समुद्राचा खोल भागही त्यामध्ये येतो. BSB BSB: See how He scatters His lightning around Him and covers the depths of the sea.
31 ULB तो त्याचा उपयोग राष्ट्रांना काबूत ठेवण्यासाठी करतो आणि त्यांना भरपूर अन्न देतो. BSB BSB: For by these He judges the nations and provides food in abundance.
32 ULB तो आपल्या हातांनी विजेला पकडतो आणि त्यास हवे तेथे पडण्याची तिला आज्ञा करतो. BSB BSB: He fills His hands with lightning and commands it to strike its mark.
33 ULB मेघांच्या गडगडाटामुळे वादळाची सूचना मिळते. जनावरांना सुध्दा वादळाची चाहूल लागते.” BSB BSB: The thunder declares His presence; even the cattle regard the rising storm.
