BSB BSB: It was now just before the Passover Feast, and Jesus knew that His hour had come to leave this world and return to the Father. 7 ULB येशूने त्यास उत्तर दिले, “मी काय करतो ते तुला आता कळत नाही, पण ते तुला पुढे कळेल.” BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”
8 ULB पेत्र त्यास म्हणाला, “तुम्हास माझे पाय कधीही धुवावयाचे नाहीत.” येशूने त्यास उत्तर दिले, “मी तुला धुतले नाही, तर तुला माझ्याबरोबर वाटा नाही.” BSB BSB: “Never shall You wash my feet!” Peter told Him. Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me.”
9 ULB शिमोन पेत्र त्यास म्हणाला, “प्रभूजी, माझे केवळ पायच धुऊ नका, तर हात आणि डोकेही धुवा.” BSB BSB: “Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not only my feet, but my hands and my head as well!”
10 ULB येशूने त्यास म्हटले, “ज्याचे स्नान झाले आहे त्यास पायांशिवाय दुसरे काही धुवायची गरज नाही, तर तो सर्वांगी शुद्ध आहे; तुम्ही शुद्ध आहा, पण सगळे जण नाही.” BSB BSB: Jesus told him, “Whoever has already bathed needs only to wash his feet, and he will be completely clean. And you are clean, though not all of you.”

13 ULB तुम्ही मला ‘गुरू’ आणि ‘प्रभू’ म्हणता आणि ते ठीक म्हणता, कारण मी तसाच आहे. BSB BSB: You call Me Teacher and Lord, and rightly so, because I am.

BSB BSB: Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I give this morsel after I have dipped it.” Then He dipped the morsel and gave it to Judas son of Simon Iscariot.

BSB BSB: Little children, I am with you only a little while longer. You will look for Me, and as I said to the Jews, so now I say to you: ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’
35 ULB तुमची एकमेकांवर प्रीती असली म्हणजे यावरुन सर्व ओळखतील की, तुम्ही माझे शिष्य आहात.” BSB BSB: By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”
36 ULB शिमोन पेत्र त्यास म्हणाला, “प्रभूजी, आपण कोठे जाता?” येशूने त्यास उत्तर दिले, “मी जाईन तिकडे, आता, तुला माझ्यामागे येता येणार नाही; पण नंतर तू येशील.” BSB BSB: “Lord, where are You going?” Simon Peter asked. Jesus answered, “Where I am going, you cannot follow Me now, but you will follow later.”
37 ULB पेत्र त्यास म्हणाला, “प्रभूजी, मला आपल्यामागे आताच का येता येणार नाही? मी आपल्यासाठी माझा जीव देईन.” BSB BSB: “Lord,” said Peter, “why can’t I follow You now? I will lay down my life for You.”
38 ULB येशूने त्यास उत्तर दिले, माझ्यासाठी तू आपला जीव देशील “काय? मी तुला खरे खरे सांगतों, तू मला तीनदा नाकारशील तोपर्यंत कोंबडा आरवणार नाही. BSB BSB: “Will you lay down your life for Me?” Jesus replied. “Truly, truly, I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.
