Joshua 13 (ULB)

1आता यहोशवा म्हातारा आणि चांगल्या उतारवयाचा झाला होता. तेव्हा परमेश्वर त्याच्याशी म्हणाला, “तू म्हातारा झाला आहेस आणि तुझे वय पुष्कळ झाले आहे, परंतु अजून पुष्कळ देश काबीज करून घ्यावयाचा राहिला आहे.”Now Joshua was old and well along in years, and the LORD said to him, “You are old and well along in years, but very much of the land remains to be possessed.

2हा देश अजून बाकी राहिला आहे: पलिष्ट्यांचा सर्व प्रांत, आणि सर्व गशूरी प्रांत;This is the land that remains: All the territory of the Philistines and the Geshurites,

4दक्षिणेस कनान्यांचा सर्व देश, आणि सीदोन्याचे मारा, अफेक व अमोऱ्यांच्या सीमेपर्यंतचा देश;to the south, all the land of the Canaanites, from Mearah of the Sidonians to Aphek, as far as the border of the Amorites;

5आणि गिबली यांचा देश, व सूर्याच्या उगवतीस सर्व लबानोन, हर्मोन डोंगराखालच्या बाल-गादापासून हमाथात जायच्या ठिकाणापर्यंत तो देश घ्यायचा आहे;the land of the Gebalites; and all Lebanon to the east, from Baal-gad below Mount Hermon to Lebo-hamath.

6लबानोनापासून मिस्रफोथ माइमापर्यंत डोंगराचे सर्व राहणारे, सर्व सीदोनी, यांस मी इस्राएलाच्या संतानापुढून वतनातून बाहेर घालवीन; त्यांचा देश इस्राएलाचे वतन होण्यास मी तुला आज्ञा दिल्याप्रमाणे चिठ्ठ्या टाकून वाटून दे.All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth-maim—all the Sidonians—I Myself will drive out before the Israelites. Be sure to divide it by lot as an inheritance to Israel, as I have commanded you.

7तर आता नऊ वंश व अर्धा मनश्शेचा वंश यांस वतन होण्यासाठी या देशाच्या वाटण्या कर.Now therefore divide this land as an inheritance to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh.”

8मनश्शेच्या बाकीच्या अर्ध्या वंशाला व रऊबेनी व गादी यांना आपल्या वतनाचा वाटा मिळाला आहे; परमेश्वराचा सेवक मोशे याने त्यांना यार्देनेच्या पलीकडे पूर्वेस जे दिले ते त्यांचे आहे.The other half of Manasseh, along with the Reubenites and Gadites, had received the inheritance Moses had given them beyond the Jordan to the east, just as Moses the servant of the LORD had assigned to them:

9आर्णोन नदीच्या काठावरले अरोएर म्हणजे त्या खोऱ्याच्या मध्यभागी ते नगर, तेथून दीबोनापर्यंत मेदब्याची सर्व पठारे ही;The area from Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Valley, along with the city in the middle of the valley, the whole plateau of Medeba as far as Dibon,

10आणि अमोऱ्यांचा राजा सीहोन ज्याने हेशबोनात राज्य केले त्याची, अम्मोनी संतानांच्या सीमेपर्यंत सर्व नगरे;and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites who reigned in Heshbon, as far as the border of the Ammonites;

11गिलाद आणि गशूरी व माकाथी यांची सीमा, आणि अवघा हर्मोन डोंगर व सलेखापर्यंत सर्व बाशान;also Gilead and the territory of the Geshurites and Maacathites, all of Mount Hermon, and all Bashan as far as Salecah—

12म्हणजे रेफाईतला जो एकटाच शेष राहिलेला अष्टारोथ व एद्रई येथे राज्य करणारा बाशानाचा ओग याचे सारे राज्य, येथल्या सर्वांचा मोशेने मारून वतनातून बाहेर घालवले.the whole kingdom of Og in Bashan, who had reigned in Ashtaroth and Edrei and had remained as a remnant of the Rephaim. Moses had struck them down and dispossessed them,

13तथापि इस्राएलाच्या संतानानी गशूरी व माखाथी यांना वतनातून बाहेर घालवले नाही, तरी आजपर्यंत गशूरी व माकाथी इस्राएलामध्ये राहत आहेत.but the Israelites did not drive out the Geshurites or the Maacathites. So Geshur and Maacath dwell among the Israelites to this day.

14लेवीच्या वंशाला मात्र त्याने वतन दिले नाही; “इस्राएलाचा देव परमेश्वराने त्यास सांगितल्याप्रमाणे अग्नीतून केलेली अर्पणे,” तेच त्यांचे वतन आहे;To the tribe of Levi, however, Moses had given no inheritance. The food offerings to the LORD, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, just as He had promised them.

15परंतु रऊबेनाच्या संतानांच्या वंशाला त्याच्या कुळाप्रमाणे मोशेने दिले.This is what Moses had given to the clans of the tribe of Reuben:

16आणि त्याची प्राप्त झालेली सीमा ही होती, आर्णोन नदीच्या काठावर जे अरोएर, म्हणजे त्या खोऱ्याच्या मध्यभागी जे नगर, तेथून मेदबाजवळचा सर्व पठारी प्रदेश;The territory from Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Valley, along with the city in the middle of the valley, to the whole plateau beyond Medeba,

17हेशबोन आणि पठारावरील जी सर्व नगरे; दीबोन व बामोथ-बआल व बेथ-बालमोन;to Heshbon and all its cities on the plateau, including Dibon, Bamoth-baal, Beth-baal-meon,

19आणि किर्याथाईम व सिब्मा व खोऱ्याच्या डोंगरावरचे सरेथ शहर;Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth-shahar on the hill in the valley,

20बेथ-पौर व पिसगाच्या उतरणी व बेथ-यशिमोथ;Beth-peor, the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth—

21आणि पठारातली सर्व नगरे; म्हणजे अमोऱ्याचा राजा सीहोन त्याचे सर्व राज्य त्यामध्ये होते; त्याने हेशबोनात राज्य केले; त्यास मोशेने मारले, आणि देशात राहणारे सिहोनाचे मुख्य म्हणजे मिद्यानावरले अधिपती अवी रेकेम व सूर व हूर रेबा यांसहीत मारले.all the cities of the plateau and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon until Moses killed him and the chiefs of Midian (Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba), the princes of Sihon who lived in the land.

24गादाच्या वंशालाही त्यांच्या कुळाप्रमाणे मोशेने वतन दिले.This is what Moses had given to the clans of the tribe of Gad:

25आणि त्यांची सीमा याजेर व गिलादातली सर्व नगरे व अम्मोन्यांच्या संतानांचा अर्धा देश, राब्बा यांच्यापुढे जे अरोएर तेथपर्यंत झाली.The territory of Jazer, all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the Ammonites as far as Aroer, near Rabbah;

26आणि हेशबोनापासून रामाथ मिस्पापर्यंतचा प्रदेश, आणि बतोनीम व महनाईमापासून दबीरच्या सीमेपर्यंत;the territory from Heshbon to Ramath-mizpeh and Betonim, and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir;

27आणि खोऱ्यातले बेथ-हाराम व बेथ-निम्रा व सुक्कोथ व साफोन, म्हणजे हेशबोनाचा राजा सीहोन याच्या राज्याचा शेष भाग, यार्देन व तिच्यातीरींचा किन्नेरोथ समुद्राच्या काठापर्यंत, असे योर्देनेच्या पलीकडे पूर्वेस झाले.and in the valley, Beth-haram, Beth-nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, with the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon (the territory on the east side of the Jordan up to the edge of the Sea of Chinnereth).

28गादाच्या संतानांच्या, कुळाप्रमाणे त्याचे वतन हेच, ती नगरे व त्यांच्या खालचे गांव.This was the inheritance of the clans of the Gadites, including the cities and villages.

29आणि मनश्शेच्या अर्ध्या वंशाला मोशेने वतन दिले; तर मनश्शेच्या अर्ध्या संतानांच्या वंशाला त्यांच्या कुळाप्रमाणे असे झाले;This is what Moses had given to the clans of the half-tribe of Manasseh, that is, to half the tribe of the descendants of Manasseh:

30की त्यांची सीमा महनाईमापासून सर्व बाशान, म्हणजे बाशानाचा राजा ओग याचे अवघे राज्य, बाशानातली याईराची जी अवघी गावे साठ नगरे त्यांसुद्धा;The territory from Mahanaim through all Bashan—all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, including all the towns of Jair that are in Bashan, sixty cities;

31आणि अर्धा गिलाद, आणि बाशानात ओगाच्या राज्यातली नगरे अष्टारोथ व एद्रई यांसुद्धाही; असे मनश्शेचा पुत्र माखीर यांच्या संतानांना, म्हणजे माखीराच्या अर्ध्या संतानांना त्यांच्या कुळाप्रमाणे प्राप्त झाले.half of Gilead; and Ashtaroth and Edrei, the royal cities of Og in Bashan. All this was for the clans of the descendants of Machir son of Manasseh, that is, half of the descendants of Machir.

32यरीहोजवळ यार्देन नदीच्या पलीकडे पूर्वेस मवाबाच्या मैदानात मोशेने जी वतने दिली ती हीच.These were the portions Moses had given them on the plains of Moab beyond the Jordan, east of Jericho.

33लेवीच्या वंशाला मोशेने वतन दिले नाही; इस्राएलाचा देव परमेश्वर याने जसे त्यास सांगितले, तसा तोच त्यांचे वतन आहे.To the tribe of Levi, however, Moses had given no inheritance. The LORD, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, just as He had promised them.
