1“हे परमेश्वरा, माझ्या सामर्थ्या, मी तुझ्यावर प्रेम करतो.”For the choirmaster. Of David the servant of the LORD, who sang this song to the LORD on the day the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: I love You, O LORD, my strength.

2परमेश्वर माझा खडक माझा गढ आहे, जो माला सुरक्षा देतो, तो माझा देव, माझा खडक आहे, त्याच्यात मी आश्रय घेतो. तो माझी ढाल आहे, माझ्या तारणाचे शिंग आणि माझा बळकट दुर्ग आहे.The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

3जो स्तुतीच्या योग्य आहे, त्या परमेश्वरास मी हाक मारीन, आणि मी माझ्या शत्रूंपासून वाचवला जाईन.I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.

5अधोलोकांच्या बंधनांनी मला घेरीले, मृत्यूच्या सापळ्याने मला अडकवले.The cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me.

6मी संकटात असता, मी परमेश्वरास हाक मारली; मी देवाला माझ्या मदतीसाठी हाक मारली. त्याने त्याच्या पवित्र मंदिरातून माझी वाणी ऐकली.In my distress I called upon the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From His temple He heard my voice, and my cry for His help reached His ears.

7तेव्हा पृथ्वी हादरली आणि कंपित झाली. डोंगरांचे पाये थरथर कापले आणि हादरले, कारण देव क्रोधित झाला होता.Then the earth shook and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains trembled; they were shaken because He burned with anger.

8त्याच्या नाकातून धूर वर चढला, आणि त्याच्या तोंडातून अग्नीच्या ज्वाला निघाल्या, ज्याने कोळसे पेटले गेले.Smoke rose from His nostrils, and consuming fire came from His mouth; glowing coals blazed forth.

13परमेश्वराने आकाशात गडगडाट केला! परात्पराने आवाज उंच केला, गारा आणि विजा बाहेर पडल्या.The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded—hailstones and coals of fire.

14परमेश्वराने त्याचे बाण सोडले आणि शत्रूंची दाणादाण उडाली, पुष्कळ विजांनी त्यांना छेदून टाकले.He shot His arrows and scattered the foes; He hurled lightning and routed them.

15तेव्हा जलाशयाचे तळ दिसू लागले, तुझ्या युद्धाच्या गदारोळाने आणि तुझ्या नाकपुड्याच्या श्वासाच्या सोसाट्याने हे परमेश्वरा, जगाचे पाये उघडे पडले.The channels of the sea appeared, and the foundations of the world were exposed, at Your rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.

16तो उंचावरून खाली आला आणि त्याने मला पकडले! त्याने मला उसळत्या पाण्यातून बाहेर काढले.He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters.

17माझ्या शक्तीशाली शत्रूंपासून आणि माझा तिरस्कार करणाऱ्यांपासून त्याने मला सोडवले. कारण ते माझ्यापेक्षा अधिक बलवान होते.He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from foes too mighty for me.

18माझ्या दु:खाच्या दिवशी ते माझ्याविरूद्ध आले; परंतु परमेश्वर मला उचलून धरणारा होता.They confronted me in my day of calamity, but the LORD was my support.

19त्याने मला विस्तृत खुल्या जागेमध्ये मोकळे केले! त्याने मला तारले कारण तो माझ्यामुळे संतुष्ट होता.He brought me out into the open; He rescued me because He delighted in me.

20माझ्या न्यायीपणाप्रमाणे परमेश्वराने मला पुरस्कृत केले आहे, त्याने मला पुनसंचयित केले कारण माझे हात निर्मळ होते.The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness; He has repaid me according to the cleanness of my hands.

21कारण मी परमेश्वराच्या मार्गात राहिलो आणि दुष्टाईने देवापासून दूर फिरलो नाही.For I have kept the ways of the LORD and have not wickedly departed from my God.

22कारण त्याचे धार्मिक नियम माझ्यापुढे होते आणि त्याचे नियम मी आपणापासून दूर केले नाहीत.For all His ordinances are before me; I have not disregarded His statutes.

23मी त्याच्यासमोर निर्दोष असा होतो, आणि मी स्वत:ला पापापासून दूर राखले.And I have been blameless before Him and kept myself from iniquity.

24माझ्या न्यायीपणाप्रमाणे परमेश्वराने पुनसंचयित केले. कारण त्याच्या डोळ्यासमोर माझे हात निर्मळ होते.So the LORD has repaid me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His sight.

25जो विश्वासयोग्य आहे, त्याच्याशी तू विश्वास दाखवतोस, निर्दोष मनुष्याशी तू सात्विकतेने वागतोस.To the faithful You show Yourself faithful, to the blameless You show Yourself blameless;

26जे शुद्ध असतात त्यांच्याशी तू शुद्ध असतोस, परंतु जे कुटील त्यांच्याशी तू कुटीलतेने वागतोस.to the pure You show Yourself pure, but to the crooked You show Yourself shrewd.

27कारण तू पीडित लोकांस वाचविले आहेस. परंतु गर्वाने उंचावलेल्या डोळ्यांना तू खाली करतोस.For You save an afflicted people, but You humble those with haughty eyes.

28कारण तू माझा दिवा लावशील, परमेश्वर माझा देव माझ्या अंधाराचा प्रकाश करितो.For You, O LORD, light my lamp; my God lights up my darkness.

29कारण तुझ्या मदतीने मी फौजेविरूद्ध जाऊ शकतो, माझ्या देवाच्या योगे मी तटावरुन उडी मारून जाऊ शकतो.For in You I can charge an army, and with my God I can scale a wall.

30देवाचा मार्ग परिपूर्ण आहे. परमेश्वराचे वचन शुद्ध आहे. जे त्याच्यात आश्रय घेतात, त्यांच्यासाठी तो ढाल असा आहे.As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

31कारण परमेश्वराखेरीज कोण देव आहे? आमच्या देवाशिवाय कोण खडक आहे?For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God?

32तोच देव बलाने माझी कंबर बांधतो, जो माझे मार्ग सुरक्षित ठेवतो.It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way clear.

33तो माझे पाय हरिणीसारखे चपळ करतो आणि मला डोंगरावर ठेवतो!He makes my feet like those of a deer and stations me upon the heights.

34तो माझ्या हाताला युद्ध करावयाला आणि माझे भुज पितळी धनुष्य वाकवायला शिकवतो.He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

35तू मला तुझ्या तारणाची ढाल दिली आहेस, तुझा उजवा हात मला आधार देतो आणि तुझ्या अनुग्रहाने मला थोर केले आहे.You have given me Your shield of salvation; Your right hand upholds me, and Your gentleness exalts me.

36तू माझ्या पायांखाली विस्तीर्ण असे स्थान केले आहे, म्हणजे माझे पाय कधीही घसरणार नाहीत.You broaden the path beneath me so that my ankles do not give way.

37मी माझ्या शत्रूंचा पाठलाग करीन आणि त्यांना पकडीन. ते नाश होईपर्यंत मी मागे फिरणार नाही.I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back until they were consumed.

38मी माझ्या शत्रूंना असे मारीन की, ते पुन्हा उभे राहू शकणार नाहीत, ते सगळे माझ्या पायाखाली असतील.I crushed them so they could not rise; they have fallen under my feet.

39कारण युद्धाकरिता तू सामर्थ्याने माझी कंबर बांधली आहे, जे माझ्याविरूद्ध उठले होते त्यांना तू खाली पाडले आहे.You have armed me with strength for battle; You have subdued my foes beneath me.

40तू मला माझ्या शत्रूंनाही त्यांची पाठ फिरवायला लावली आहे, ज्यांनी माझा द्वेष केला, त्यांचा मी नाश केला.You have made my enemies retreat before me; I destroyed those who hated me.

41ते मदतीसाठी ओरडले, पण कोणीही त्यांना वाचवले नाही, त्यांनी परमेश्वरास आरोळी केली, पण त्याने उत्तर दिले नाही.They cried for help, but there was no one to save them—to the LORD, but He did not answer.

42मी माझ्या शत्रूंचे वाऱ्यावर उडणाऱ्या धुळीप्रमाणे चूर्ण केले, रस्त्यावरील चिखलाप्रमाणे मी त्यांना काढून टाकले.I ground them as dust in the face of the wind; I trampled them like mud in the streets.

43मी त्यांना असे मारले की धुळीसारखा त्यांचा भुगा केला, तू मला राष्ट्रांवर मस्तक असे केले आहे. जे लोक मला माहित नाहीत ते माझी सेवा करतील.You have delivered me from the strife of the people; You have made me the head of nations; a people I had not known shall serve me.

44ते लोक माझ्याविषयी ऐकतील आणि लगेच माझ्या आज्ञांचे पालन करतील, ते परदेशी माझ्यापुढे शरण येतील.When they hear me, they obey me; foreigners cower before me.

45ते परदेशी त्यांच्या लपण्याच्या जागेतून भीतीने थरथर कापत बाहेर येतील.Foreigners lose heart and come trembling from their strongholds.

46परमेश्वर जिवंत आहे, माझा खडक धन्यवादित असो. माझ्या तारणाचा देव उंचावला जावो.The LORD lives, and blessed be my Rock! And may the God of my salvation be exalted—

47हाच तो देव आहे जो माझ्यासाठी सूड घेतो, तो त्या राष्ट्रांना माझ्या सत्तेखाली देतो.the God who avenges me and subdues nations beneath me,

48मी माझ्या शत्रूंपासून मुक्त झालो आहे, खचित, जे माझ्याविरूद्ध उठले आहेत, त्यांच्यावर तू मला उंच केले आहे. तू मला क्रूर मनुष्यांपासून वाचवले.who delivers me from my enemies. You exalt me above my foes; You rescue me from violent men.

49यास्तव परमेश्वरा, राष्ट्रांमध्ये मी तुला धन्यवाद देईन, मी तुझ्या नावाची स्तुती गाईन.Therefore I will praise You, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing praises to Your name.

50देव आपल्या राजाला मोठा विजय देतो, आणि तो आपल्या अभिषिक्तावर, दाविदावर व त्याच्या संतानावर सदासर्वकाळ कृपा करतो.Great salvation He brings to His king. He shows loving devotion to His anointed, to David and his descendants forever.
