He followed Philip closely and was astounded by the great signs and miracles he observed.
14 UDB सामरिया जिल्लाका धेरै मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरको सन्देशलाई ग्रहण गरे भनी यरूशलेमका विश्वासीहरूले सुनेपछि तिनीहरूले पत्रुस र यूहन्नालाई त्यहाँ पठाए। BSB BSB: When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them.
15 UDB जब पत्रुस र यूहन्ना सामरिया आइपुगे, तिनीहरूले ती नयाँ विश्वासीहरूले पवित्र आत्मा पाऊन् भनी तिनीहरूका निम्ति प्रार्थना गरे। BSB BSB: On their arrival, they prayed for them to receive the Holy Spirit.
16 UDB किनकि तिनीहरूमध्ये कसैमा पनि पवित्र आत्मा आउनुभएको थिएन भन्ने कुरा प्रस्ट थियो। तिनीहरूलाई प्रभु येशूको नाउँमा मात्र बप्तिस्मा दिइएको थियो। BSB BSB: For the Holy Spirit had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
17 UDB तब पत्रुस र यूहन्नाले तिनीहरूमाथि आफ्ना हात राखे, र तिनीहरूले पवित्र आत्मा पाए। BSB BSB: Then Peter and John laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

21 UDB हामीले जुन काम गरिरहेका छौँ, त्यसमा तिमी हामीसित काम गर्न सक्दैनौ, किनकि तिम्रो हृदय परमेश्वरसित ठिक छैन। BSB BSB: You have no part or share in our ministry, because your heart is not right before God.
22 UDB त्यसैले, यस्तो दुष्ट किसिमले सोच्न छाडी प्रभुलाई बिन्ती चढाऊ, र उहाँको इच्छा भयो भने तिम्रो हृदयमा भएको दुष्ट विचारलाई उहाँले क्षमा दिनुहुनेछ। BSB BSB: Repent, therefore, of your wickedness, and pray to the Lord. Perhaps He will forgive you for the intent of your heart.
23 UDB तिम्रा दुष्ट मार्गहरूबाट फर्क, किनकि म बुझ्दछु, कि तिमी हामीप्रति निकै डाही बनेका छौ, र तिमी निरन्तर रूपमा खराबै मात्र गर्ने तिम्रो इच्छाको दास बनेका छौ!” BSB BSB: For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and captive to iniquity.”
24 UDB तब सिमोनले जवाफ दिए, “तपाईंले भर्खरै भन्नुभएका कुराहरू ममाथि आई नपरून् भनी प्रभुलाई बिन्ती गरिदिनुहोस्।” BSB BSB: Then Simon answered, “Pray to the Lord for me, so that nothing you have said may happen to me.”

He had gone to Jerusalem to worship,

29 UDB परमेश्वरका आत्माले फिलिपलाई भन्नुभयो, “त्यो रथ नजिकै गएर हिँड।” BSB BSB: The Spirit said to Philip, “Go over to that chariot and stay by it.”
31 UDB तिनले फिलिपलाई जवाफ दिए, “बुझ्दिनँ। कसैले मलाई व्याख्या नगरिदिएसम्म सम्भवतः म बुझ्न सक्दिनँ।” BSB BSB: “How can I,” he said, “unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
33 UDB उसको अपमान गरिनेछ, र उसले न्याय पाउँदैन। उसका सन्तानहरूबारे बताउन कोही पनि सक्षम हुनेछैन, किनकि उसलाई मारिनेछ।” BSB BSB: In His humiliation He was deprived of justice. Who can recount His descendants? For His life was removed from the earth.”
34 UDB आफूले पढिरहेका यी वचनहरूको बारेमा ती अधिकारीले फिलिपलाई सोधे, “मलाई भन्नुहोस्, कि अगमवक्ताले कसको बारेमा लेख्दै थिए‒ तिनले आफ्नै बारेमा लेख्दै थिए, कि अरू कसैको बारेमा?” BSB BSB: “Tell me,” said the eunuch, “who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?”
35 UDB त्यसैले, फिलिपले तिनलाई जवाफ दिए। तिनले धर्मशास्त्रको यही खण्डबाट सुरु गरेर तिनलाई येशूको बारेमा सुसमाचार सुनाए। BSB BSB: Then Philip began with this very Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.
36 UDB तिनीहरू सँगसँगै यात्रा गरिरहँदा तिनीहरू अलिअलि पानी भएको ठाउँमा आइपुगे। ती अधिकारीले फिलिपलाई भने, “हेर्नुहोस्, यहाँ अलिअलि पानी छ। BSB BSB: As they traveled along the road and came to some water, the eunuch said, “Look, here is water! What is there to prevent me from being baptized?”
37 UDB मलाई बप्तिस्मा दिनुहोस् भनी म तपाईंलाई अनुरोध गर्दछु, किनकि अब मलाई बप्तिस्मा लिनदेखि कुनै कुरोले रोक्दैन।” BSB BSB: Not in the BSB
38 UDB ती अधिकारीले चालकलाई रथ रोक्ने आज्ञा दिए। फिलिप र अधिकारी दुवै जना पानीमा गए, र फिलिपले तिनलाई बप्तिस्मा दिए। BSB BSB: And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.
39 UDB तिनीहरू पानीबाट बाहिर निस्केपछि परमेश्वरका आत्माले फिलिपलाई अकस्मात् कतै लैजानुभयो। ती अधिकारीले फिलिपलाई फेरि कहिल्यै देखेनन्। तर तिनले फिलिपलाई फेरि कहिल्यै नदेखे, तापनि तिनी बडो खुसी हुँदै आफ्नो बाटो लागे। BSB BSB: When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, but went on his way rejoicing.
40 UDB पवित्र आत्माले अचम्म रीतिले फिलिपलाई अश्दोद सहरमा लैजानुभएको रहेछ भनी तिनले थाहा पाए। त्यस क्षेत्रको चारैतिर यात्रा गर्दा तिनले अश्दोद र कैसरियाका बिचमा पर्ने सबै सहरहरूमा निरन्तर रूपमा येशूको सन्देश सुनाए। तिनी अन्त्यमा कैसरिया नआइपुगुन्जेलसम्म तिनले प्रचार गरिरहे। BSB BSB: But Philip appeared at Azotus and traveled through that region, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he came to Caesarea.
