5 UDB तिनले निहुरिए र चिहानभित्र हेरे; सुति कपडाका टुक्राहरू त्यहाँ परेको तिनले देखे, तर तिनी चिहानभित्र पस्न अन्कनाए। BSB BSB: He bent down and looked in at the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in.
6 UDB त्यसपछि तिनको पछिपछि दौडँदै गरेका सिमोन पत्रुस त्यहाँ आइपुगे, तर तिनी चिहानभित्रै गए। सुति कपडाका टुक्राहरू त्यहाँ परेको तिनले पनि देखे। BSB BSB: Simon Peter arrived just after him. He entered the tomb and saw the linen cloths lying there.
7 UDB तर येशूको शिरमा भएको कपडाको खोल, सुतीका कपडाका टुक्राहरूभन्दा बेग्लै, पट्याइएको र राखिएको तिनले देखे। BSB BSB: The cloth that had been around Jesus’ head was rolled up, lying separate from the linen cloths.
8 UDB त्यसपछि अर्को चेला पनि चिहानभित्र गए; तिनले यी कुराहरू देखे र मृत्युबाट येशू जीवित हुनुभएको थियो भनी विश्वास गर्न लागे। BSB BSB: Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in. And he saw and believed.
9 UDB येशू मृत्युबाट जीवित हुनुपर्छ भन्ने धर्मशास्त्र तिनीहरूले अझैसम्म बुझेनन्। BSB BSB: For they still did not understand from the Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.
10 UDB यसैले चेलाहरू आफ्ना घरतिर फर्केर गए। BSB BSB: Then the disciples returned to their homes.
11 UDB मरियम चिहानबाहिर खडा भएर रुँदै थिइन्। रुँदै गर्दा तिन निहुरिन् र चिहान भित्र हेरिन्। BSB BSB: But Mary stood outside the tomb weeping. And as she wept, she bent down to look into the tomb,
12 UDB सेतो वस्त्र लगाएका दुई स्वर्गदूतहरू येशूको शरीर राखिएकै ठाँउमा, एउटा शीरपटी अर्को पाउपटी बसिरहेका, तिनले देखिन्। BSB BSB: and she saw two angels in white sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and the other at the feet.
13 UDB तिनीहरूले तिनलाई भने “स्त्री, तिमी किन रुँदै छौ?” तिनले तिनीहरुलाई भनिन्, “तिनीहरूले मेरा प्रभुलाई लगेका छन्, र तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई कहाँ राखेका छन् मलाई थाहा छैन!” BSB BSB: “Woman, why are you weeping?” they asked. “Because they have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I do not know where they have put Him.”
14 UDB तिनले त्यसो भनेपछि तिनी पछिल्तिर फर्किन र येशू त्यहाँ खडा हुनुभएको देखिन्, तर उहाँ नै हुनहुन्थ्यो भनी तिनले थाहा पाइनन्। BSB BSB: When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there. But she did not recognize that it was Jesus.
15 UDB उहाँले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “स्त्री, तिमी किन रुँदै छौ? तिमीले कसलाई खोज्दै छौ?” तिनीसँग बोल्दै गरेको मानिस माली थिए भनी तिनले विचार गरिन्, र तिनले भनिन् “सर, यदि तपाईंले उहाँलाई लानुभएको हो भने, तपाईंले उहाँलाई कहाँ राख्नुभएको छ, मलाई भन्नुहोस्, र म उहाँलाई लाने छु।” BSB BSB: “Woman, why are you weeping?” Jesus asked. “Whom are you seeking?” Thinking He was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried Him off, tell me where you have put Him, and I will get Him.”
16 UDB येशूले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “मरियम”। तिनी फर्किन् रे उहाँलाई आरमेइकमा भनिन्, “रब्बोनी!” (जसको अर्थ “गुरु”)। BSB BSB: Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).

23 UDB यदि तिमीहरूले कसैको पाप क्षमा गर्छौ भने, परमेश्वरले तिमीहरूलाई क्षमा गर्नुहुने छ। यदि तिमीहरूले अरूकाो पापहरू क्षमा गर्दैनौ भने, ती तिनीहरूकै विरुद्धमा रहने छन्। BSB BSB: If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you withhold forgiveness from anyone, it is withheld.”
25 UDB अरू चेलाहरूले तिनलाई भने, “हामीले प्रभुलाई देखेका छौं्।” तापनि, तिनले तिनीहरूलाई भने, “जबसम्म उहाँका हातहरूमा काँटीिहरूले बनाएका डोबहरू म देख्दिन र काँटीहरूले बनाएका प्वालहरूमा आफ्ना औंलाहरू म हाल्दिन, र जबसम्म उहाँको कोखको घाउको प्वालमा म आफ्नो हात हाल्दिन, म कहिल्यै पनि उहाँमा विश्वास गर्ने छैन।” BSB BSB: So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he replied, “Unless I see the nail marks in His hands, and put my finger where the nails have been, and put my hand into His side, I will never believe.” 26 UDB आठ दिनपछि, उहाँका चेलाहरू फेरि पनि घरभित्र नै थिए, र त्यसबेला थोमा तिनीहरूसँगै थिए। यद्यपी, ढोकाहरू बन्द नै थिए, येशू आउनुभयो र तिनीहरूका माझमा खडा हुनुभयो, र उहाँले तिनीहरू सबैलाई भन्नुभयो, “परमेश्वरको शान्ति तिमीहरूमा रहोस्।” BSB BSB: Eight days later, His disciples were once again inside with the doors locked, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”
27 UDB त्यसपछि उहाँले थोमालाई भन्नुभयो, “तिम्रो औंला यहाँ हाल र मेरा हातहरू हेर, र तिम्रो हात ल्याऊ र त्यसलाई मेरो कोखमा हाल! यो म नै हुँ भन्ने कुरामा शंका गर्न छोड; ममा तिम्रो विश्वास राख।” BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.”
29 UDB येशूले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “अब म जीवित भएको छु भनी तिमी विश्वास गर्छौ, किनभने तिमीले मलाई देख्छौ। तापनि, जसले मलाई देखेका छैनन् र पनि विश्वास गर्छन्, तिनीहरूलाई परमेश्वरले ठुलो खुशी दिनुहुन्छ।” BSB BSB: Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
31 UDB तापनि, मैले यी कुराहरू लेखेको छु ता कि येशू नै ख्रीष्ट, परमेश्वरको पुत्र हुनुहुन्छ भनी तिमीहरूलाई पूर्ण विश्वास होस्, र ता कि उहाँमा विश्वासद्वारा, उहाँको नाउँमा तिमीहरूले अनन्त जीवन पाउन सक। BSB BSB: But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.
