3 UDB हेरोद एन्तिपसका व्यवस्थापकहरुमध्ये एकजना खुजासकी पत्नी योअन्ना, सुसन्ना र अरू धेरैजना यात्रामा थिए। तिनीहरूले येशू र उहाँका चेलाहरूलाई सहयोग गर्न तिनीहरू आफैसँग भएको केही रूपियाँहरु दिंदैथिए। BSB BSB: Joanna the wife of Herod’s household manager Chuza, Susanna, and many others. These women were ministering to them out of their own means.
4 UDB एकदिन एउटा ठूलो भिड भेला हुँदैथियो, किनभने येशूलाई हेर्न धेरैवटा भिन्न-भिन्न नगरहरूबाट यात्रा गर्दैथिए। अनि उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई यो कथा भन्नुभयो: BSB BSB: While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, He told them this parable:
5 UDB “एउटा मानिस केही अन्नका बीऊहरू छर्नलाई आफ्नो खेतमा गयो। जसै त्यसले माटोमाथि ती छर्दैथयो, केही बीऊहरू बाटोमा परे। अनि ती बीऊहरूलाई मानिसहरूले कुल्चे र चराहरूले ती खाए। BSB BSB: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. And as he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, where it was trampled, and the birds of the air devoured it.
6 UDB कोही बीऊहरू ढुंगेनी जमिनमा परे जसमा माटो एकदमै थोरै थियो। त्यसकारण बीऊहरू उम्रने बित्तिकै ओस नभएको कारणले विरूवाहरू सुकिहाले। BSB BSB: Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the seedlings withered because they had no moisture.
7 UDB केही बीऊहरू काँडाको बीऊहरू भएको जमिनमा परे। ती काँडाका विरूवाहरु पनि अन्नका कलिला विरूवाहरूसँगै उम्रिए र तिनीहरूलाई छोपिदिए ता कि ती बढ्न सकेनन्। BSB BSB: Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the seedlings.
8 UDB तर अन्नका केही बीऊहरू मलिलो जमिनमा परे, र राम्रोसित बढे जसले गर्दा तिनीहरूले बीऊहरू भन्दा सयौँगुणा बढी अन्न उत्पादन गरे।” यी कुराहरू भनेपछि, येशूले तिनीहरूलाई कराएर भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूले अहिले मबटा सुनेका कुराहरूका बरेमा तिमीहरू सबैले होसियारीसाथ विचार गर्नुपर्छ।” BSB BSB: Still other seed fell on good soil, where it sprang up and produced a crop—a hundredfold.” As Jesus said this, He called out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
9 UDB त्यसपछि येशूका चेलाहरूले त्यस कथाको अर्थ तिनीहरूलाई भनिदिन उहाँसित विन्ती गरे। BSB BSB: Then His disciples asked Him what this parable meant.
10 UDB र उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “परमेश्वरले राजाको रूपमा कसरी शासन गर्नुहुनेछ भन्ने बारेमा लुकेका कुराहरूका जान्ने अवसर तिमीहरूलाई दिइएको छ। तर म अरू सबैजनासँग दृष्टान्तहरूमा मात्रै बोल्छु, ताकि, ‘तिनीहरूले देख्छन्, तापनि थाहा पाउँदैनन् र तिनीहरूले सुन्छन्, तापनि बुझ्दैनन्।’ BSB BSB: He replied, “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, ‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’
11 UDB अब कथाको अर्थ यही हो: बीऊहरू परमेश्वरको वचन हो। BSB BSB: Now this is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.
12 UDB बाटोमा परेका बीऊहरूले, मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरको वचन सुन्छन् तर पछि दियाबलस आउँछ र तिनीहरूका मनहरू र हृदयहरूबाट त्यो वचन खोसेर लैजान्छ, तब के हुन्छ भन्ने कुरालाई दर्शाउँछ। परिणामस्वरूप तिनीहरूले त्यसमा विश्वास गर्दैनन् र बचाइँदैनन्। BSB BSB: The seeds along the path are those who hear, but the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.
13 UDB ढुङ्गेनी जमिनमा परेका बीऊहरूले, मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरको वचन सुन्छन् र आनन्दसाथ ग्रहण गर्छन् तर तिनीहरूका जराहरू गहिरोमा हुँदैनन्, तब के हुन्छ भन्ने कुरालाई दर्शाउँछ। परिणामस्वरूप तिनीहरूले छोटो समयका लागि मात्र विश्वास गर्छन्। तिनीहरूलाई कठिन कुराहरू हुने बित्तिकै, तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरको वचनमा विश्वास गर्न छोड्छन्। BSB BSB: The seeds on rocky ground are those who hear the word and receive it with joy, but they have no root. They believe for a season, but in the time of testing, they fall away.
14 UDB काँडाको झ्याङ्गको माझमा पर्ने बीऊहरूले, मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरको वचन सुन्छन् तर जसै तिनीहरू जीवनमा अघि बढ्छन्, यस जीवनका फिक्रीहरू, धन-सम्पत्तिहरू र सुखचैनहरू जस्ता कुराहरूले तिनीहरूको जीवनमा भएको परमेश्वरको वचनलाई छोप्नछन्, तब के हुन्छ भन्ने कुरालाई दर्शाउँछ। परिणामस्वरूप तिनीहरू आत्मिक रूपमा परिपक्क हुँदैनन्। BSB BSB: The seeds that fell among the thorns are those who hear, but as they go on their way, they are choked by the worries, riches, and pleasures of this life, and their fruit does not mature.
15 UDB तर मलिलो जमिनमा पर्ने बीऊहरूले, मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरको वचन सुन्छन् र त्यसलाई सम्मानपूर्वक र ठीक हृदयले ग्रहण गर्छन्, तब के हुन्छ भन्ने कुरालाई दर्शाउँछ। वचन विश्वास गर्न र पालन गर्न तिनीहरू शहनशील हुन्छन् र यसरी तिनीहरूले असल आत्मिक फल फलाउँछन्। BSB BSB: But the seeds on good soil are those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, cling to it, and by persevering produce a crop.
16 UDB दयो बाली सकेपछि, मानिसहरूले त्यसलाई एउटा टोकरीले छोप्दैनन् वा त्यसलाई खाटमुनि राख्दैनन्। बरु, तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई एउटा सामदानमा राख्छन्, ता कि त्यसको ज्योतिले कोठाभित्र पस्ने हरेकले देख्न सक्छन्। BSB BSB: No one lights a lamp and covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he sets it on a stand, so those who enter can see the light.
17 UDB यसले यो जनाउँछ कि अहिले लुकेको हरेक कुरालाई कुनै दिन देख्न सकिने बनाइनेछ। अनि अहिले गुप्त रहेका हरेक कुरालाई कुनै दिन बाहिर खुलामा ल्याइनेछ। BSB BSB: For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought to light.
18 UDB त्यसैले म तिमीहरूलाई जे भन्छु त्यसलाई तिमीहरूले होसियारी पूर्वक सुन्दैछौ भन्ने कुरामा पक्का हौ, किनभने परमेश्वरले उहाँको सत्यता विश्वास गर्नेहरूलाई अझ धेरै बुझ्न सक्षम तुल्याउनु हुनेछ। तर परमेश्वरले उहाँको सत्यता विश्वास नगर्नेहरूलाई, तिनीहरूले बुझेको छौं भनी सोचेका कुरा पनि नबुझ्ने तुल्याउनु हुनेछ।” BSB BSB: Pay attention, therefore, to how you listen. Whoever has will be given more, but whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him.”
19 UDB एकदिन येशूको आमा र भाइहरू उहाँलाई भेट्न आए तर तिनीहरू उहाँको छेउमा आउन सकेनन्, किनभने जुन घरमा उहाँ हुनुहुन्थ्यो त्यहाँ उहाँको वरिपरी एउटा ठूलो भिड थियो। BSB BSB: Then Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see Him, but they were unable to reach Him because of the crowd.
20 UDB त्यसपछि कसैले उहाँलाई भन्यो, “तपाईंका आमा र भाइहरू तपाईंलाई भट्न खोज्दै बाहिर उभिरहेका छन्।” BSB BSB: He was told, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see You.”
21 UDB तर उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो, “परमेश्वरको वचन सुन्ने र ती पालन गर्नेहरू मेरो लागि मेरो आमा र मेरा भाइहरू जस्तै प्रिय छन्।” BSB BSB: But He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear the word of God and carry it out.”
22 UDB अर्कोदिन येशू आफ्ना चेलाहरूसँग डुंगामा चड्नुभयो। उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “हामी ताल तरेर पारीपट्टी जाने मेरो इच्छा छ।” त्यसैले उहाँहरू डुङ्गामा तालको पारीपट्टी जान लाग्नुभयो। BSB BSB: One day Jesus said to His disciples, “Let us cross to the other side of the lake.” So He got into a boat with them and set out.
23 UDB तर जसै उहाँहरू डुङ्गामा जाँदै हुनुहुन्थ्यो, येशू निदाउनुभयो। त्यसपछि तालमा शक्तिशाली हुरिबतास। चाँडै नै डुंगा पानीले भरिंदै थियो र तिनीहरू खतरामा परे। BSB BSB: As they sailed, He fell asleep, and a windstorm came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger.
24 UDB त्यसैले येशूका चेलाहरू उहाँकहाँ आए र उहाँलाई ब्युँझाए। तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई भने, “गुरुज्यु! गुरुज्यु! हामी मर्न लाग्दैछौं।” त्यसपछि येशू ब्युँझनुभयो र बतास र पानीका छालहरूलाई शान्त हुने आज्ञा गर्नुभयो र ती शान्त भए। सबै कुरा शान्त भए। BSB BSB: The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters, and they subsided, and all was calm.
25 UDB तब उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूको विश्वास किन यति कमजोर छ?” भर्खरैको घट्नाको कारणले चेलाहरू त्रस्त भए र छक्क परे। तिनीहरू एक-आपसमा यसो भन्न लागे, “उहाँ को हुनुहुन्छ, कि उहाँले बतासहरू र पानीलाई पनि आज्ञा गर्न सक्नुहुन्छ र तिनीहरूले उहाँको आज्ञा मान्छन्?“ BSB BSB: “Where is your faith?” He asked. Frightened and amazed, they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!”
26 UDB येशू र उहाँका चेलाहरूले निरन्तर डुङ्गामा यात्रा भयो र गालील जिल्लाको तालको अर्कोपट्टी गेरासेन मानिसहरू बस्ने इलाकामा आउनुभयो। BSB BSB: Then they sailed to the region of the Gerasenes, across the lake from Galilee.
27 UDB येशू डुङ्गाबाट ओर्लेर जमिनमा आउनुभए पछि, त्यस इलाकाको नगरबाट आएका एकजना मानिसले उहाँलाई भेटे। त्यस मानिसभित्र दुष्टात्माहरू थिए। लामो समयदेखि त्यस मानिसले लुगा लगाएको थिएन र त्यो घरमा बसेन। बरू त्यो चिहानका गुफाहरूमा बस्थ्यो। BSB BSB: When Jesus stepped ashore, He was met by a demon-possessed man from the town. For a long time this man had not worn clothing or lived in a house, but he stayed in the tombs.
28 UDB जब त्यसले येशूलाई देख्यो, त्यो मानिस चिच्यायो, उहाँको सामु निहुरियो र उहाँलाई चर्को स्वरले भन्यो, “येशू, सर्वोच्च परमेश्वरका पुत्र, तपाईं मसँग के चाहनु हुन्छ? म बिन्ती गर्दछु, मलाई नसताउनुहोस्!” BSB BSB: When the man saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before Him, shouting in a loud voice, “What do You want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You not to torture me!”
29 UDB त्यस मानिसबाट दुष्ट आत्मालाई बाहिर निस्कनलाई येशूले त्यतिबलै आज्ञा गर्नुभएको कारणले त्यसले यसो भन्यो। मानिसहरूले त्यसको सुरक्षा गर्दा त्यसको हातहरू र खुट्टाहरूमा साङ्लाले बाँधिएको भए तापनि धेरै चोटी अचानक त्यसलाई दुष्ट आत्माको शक्तिले कव्जा गर्दथ्यो। अनि त्यो मानिसले साङ्लो छिनाउँथ्यो र दुष्ट आत्माले त्यसलाई उजाड स्थनहरूतिर लैजान्थ्यो। BSB BSB: For Jesus had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was bound with chains and shackles, he had broken the chains and been driven by the demon into solitary places.
30 UDB अनि येशूले त्यसलाई सोध्नुभयो, “तेरो नाउँ के हो?” त्यसले जवाफ दियो, “मेरो नाउँ हजारौं हो।” धेरैवटा दुष्ट आत्माहरू त्यस मानिसभित्र पसेको करणले त्यसले त्यसो भन्यो। BSB BSB: “What is your name?” Jesus asked. “Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him.
31 UDB परमेश्वरले दुष्ट आत्माहरूलाई सजाय दिने गहिरो खाडलमा जाने आज्ञा तिनीहरूलाई नगर्न ती दुष्ट आत्माहरूले येशूसँग विन्ती गरे। BSB BSB: And the demons kept begging Jesus not to order them to go into the Abyss.
32 UDB त्यहाँ नजिकैको एउटा डाँडातिर सुँगुरहरूको एउटा ठूलो बथान चर्दैथियो। ती दुष्टात्माहरूले तिनै सुँगुरहरूभित्र तिनीहरुलाई पस्ने अनुमति दिन येशूसँग विन्ती गरे र उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई अनुमति दिनुभयो। BSB BSB: There on the hillside a large herd of pigs was feeding. So the demons begged Jesus to let them enter the pigs, and He gave them permission.
33 UDB त्यसैले दुष्ट आत्माहरूले त्यस मानिसलाई छोडे र सुँगुरभित्र पसे र त्यो सुँगुरहरूका बथान तालको भिरालो किनारबाट तलतिर दगुरे र डुबेर मरे। BSB BSB: Then the demons came out of the man and went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.
34 UDB जब त्यहाँ भएको घटना सुँगुरहरूको हेरबिचार गरिरहेका मानिसहरूले देखे, तब तिनीहरू भागे। तिनीहरूले जे देखेका थिए त्यस बरेमा नगरमा र गाउँमा भएका मानिसहरूलाई तिनीहरूले भने। BSB BSB: When those tending the pigs saw what had happened, they ran off and reported this in the town and countryside.
35 UDB त्यसपछि मानिसहरू के भएको थियो भनी हेर्न गए। जब तिनीहरू येशू हुनुभएको ठाउँमा आए, तब तिनीहरूले जसबाट दुष्ट आत्माहरू निस्केका थिए त्यस मानिसलाई येशूको चरणमा बसिरहेको र उहाँको कुरा सुनिरहेको देखे। त्यसले लुगा लगाएको र त्यसको मन फेरि सद्दे भएको तिनीहरूले देखे र तिनीहरू डराए। BSB BSB: So the people went out to see what had happened. They came to Jesus and found the man whom the demons had left, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
36 UDB जे भएको थियो त्यो दख्ने मानिसहरूले कसरी येशूले त्यो दुष्ट आत्माहरूद्वारा सताइएको मानिसलाई निको पार्नुभएको थियो भनी त्यतिबेला आइपुगेका मानिसहरूलाई भने। BSB BSB: Meanwhile, those who had seen it reported how the demon-possessed man had been healed.
37 UDB त्यसपछि गेरासेनको वरपरका इलाकाबाट आएका धेरैजना मानिसहरूले येशूलाई तिनीहरूका इलाका छाडेर जानलाई बिन्ती गरे किनभने तिनीहरू धेरै डराएका थिए। त्यसैले येशू र उहाँका चेलाहरू तालको वारिपट्टी फर्केर जानलाई डुङ्गामा चढे। BSB BSB: Then all the people of the region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to depart from them, because great fear had taken hold of them. So He got into the boat and started back.
38 UDB उहाँहरू जानु अघि, जसबाट दुष्ट आत्माहरू निस्केर गइसकेको थियो त्यो मानिसले येशूलाई यसो भन्दै बिन्ती गर्यो, “कृपया, मलाई पनि तपाईंसँगै जान दिइयोस्।” तर त्यसको साटो, येशूले त्यसलाई यसो भनेर पठाउनुभयो, BSB BSB: The man whom the demons had left begged to go with Jesus. But He sent him away, saying,
39 UDB “नाईं, तिमी आफ्नो घर फर्केर जाऊ र परमेश्वरले तिम्रो लागि कति गर्नुभएको छ सो मानिसहरूलाई बताइदेऊ!” यसैले त्यो मानिस गयो र नगरभरि भएका मानिसहरूलाई येशूले उसका लागि कति गर्नुभएको थियो त्यो भन्यो। BSB BSB: “Return home and describe how much God has done for you.” So the man went away and proclaimed all over the town how much Jesus had done for him.
40 UDB त्यसपछि येशू र उहाँका चेलाहरू तालको पारीपट्टी कपर्नहुममा फर्केर जानुभयो। त्यहाँ मानिसहरूको एउटा भिडले उहाँलाई पर्खँदै थियो र तिनीहरूले उहाँको स्वागत गरे। BSB BSB: When Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed Him, for they had all been waiting for Him.
41 UDB त्यतिबेला त्यहाँको सभाघरका अगुवाहरूमध्येका एकजना याइरस नाम गरेका मानिस येशूको छेउमा आए र तिनले उहाँको अघि आफ्नो अनुहार निउराए। तिनले येशूलाई आफ्नो घरमा आउनका लागि विन्ती गरे। BSB BSB: Just then a synagogue leader named Jairus came and fell at Jesus’ feet. He begged Him to come to his house,
42 UDB किनभने तिनकी एकमात्र छोरी, जो करीब बाह्र वर्षकी थिइन्, मर्नै लागेकी थिइन् र येशूले उनलाई निको पार्न तिनी चाहन्थे। तर जसै येशू जानुभयो, धेरै मानिसहरूको भिडले उहाँलाई घेर्दैथियो। BSB BSB: because his only daughter, who was about twelve, was dying. As Jesus went with him, the crowds pressed around Him,
43 UDB त्यतिबेला त्यस भिडमा एकजना स्त्री थिइन् जो निरन्तर रगत बगिरहने एउटा रोगले बाह्र वर्षदेखी दुख पाइरहेकी थिइन्। तिनले आफूलाई सहायता गर्ने डाक्टरहरूलाई तिरेर आफूसँग भएको सबै रुपियाँ खर्च गरेकी थिइन् तर तिनीहरूमध्ये कसैले पनि तिनलाई निको पार्न सकेको थिएन। BSB BSB: including a woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years. She had spent all her money on physicians, but no one was able to heal her.
44 UDB तिनी येशूको पछाडि आइन् र उहाँको कपडाको छेउमा छोइन्। त्यतिखेरै तिनको रगत बग्न रोकियो। BSB BSB: She came up behind Jesus and touched the fringe of His cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.
45 UDB येशूले भन्नुभयो, “मलाई कसले छोयो?” जसै येशूको वरिपरी भएका हरेकले तिनीहरूले छोएको छैन भन्दैथिए, पत्रुसले भने, “गुरुज्यु, तपाईंको वारिपरी धेरै मानिसहरू भिड लागिरहेछन्छन् र तपाईंलाई ठल्दैछन्, त्यसैले तिनीहरूमध्ये कसैले तपाईंलाई छोयो होला!” BSB BSB: “Who touched Me?” Jesus asked. But they all denied it. “Master,” said Peter, “the people are crowding and pressing against You.”
46 UDB तर येशूले भन्नुभयो, “म जान्दछु कि कसैले मलाई छुने मन गरेर छोयो, किनभने त्यो व्यक्तिलाई निको पार्नलाई शक्ति मबाट बाहिर निस्किएको छ।” BSB BSB: But Jesus declared, “Someone touched Me, for I know that power has gone out from Me.”
47 UDB र जब ती स्त्रीले त्यो कुरालाई लुकाउन नसक्ने महसुस गरिन्, तब तिनी थरथर काम्दै उहाँको सामु आइन् र उहाँको अघि अनुहार निउराईन्। जसै अरू मानिहरूले सुनिरहेका थिए, तिनले किन उहाँलाई छोइन् र तिनी कसरी तुरन्तै निको भइन् भनी येशूलाई भनिन्। BSB BSB: Then the woman, seeing that she could not escape notice, came trembling and fell down before Him. In the presence of all the people, she explained why she had touched Him and how she had immediately been healed.
48 UDB र येशूले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “हे प्रिय नारी, मैले तिमीलाई निको पार्न सक्छु भनेर तिमीले विश्वास गरेको कारणले, तिमी अहिले निको भएकी छ्यौ। अब तिमी आफ्नो बाटो लाग र परमेश्वरको शान्ति तिमीसँग रहोस्।” BSB BSB: “Daughter,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”
49 UDB जसै तिनीसँग उहाँ बोल्दै गर्नुहुँन्थ्यो, याइरसको घरबाट एउटा मानिस आयो र याइरसलाई भन्यो, “तपाईंकी छोरीको मृतु भइसकेको छ। त्यसैले गुरुलाई अब धेरै दु:ख नदिनुहोस्!” BSB BSB: While He was still speaking, someone arrived from the house of the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” he told Jairus. “Do not bother the Teacher anymore.”
50 UDB तर जब येशूले त्यो सुन्नुभयो, उहाँले याइरसलाई भन्नभयो, “नडराऊ, मलाई विश्वास मात्र गर र तिनी फेरी जीवित हुन्छिन्।” BSB BSB: But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
51 UDB जब येशू त्यस घरको बाहिर आउनुभयो, उहाँले पत्रुस, यूहन्ना र याकूब अनि त्यस केटीका आमा र बुबाबाहेक अरू कसैलाई पनि उहाँसँग घरभित्र पस्न दिनुभएन। BSB BSB: When He entered the house, He did not allow anyone to go in with Him except Peter, John, James, and the child’s father and mother.
52 UDB र केटीको मृतु भइसकेको कारणले त्यहाँ भएका सबै मानिसहरू आफू अती दुखी भएको देखाउनलाई चर्को स्वरले रोइरहेका थिए। तर येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “रून छोड! तिनी मरेकी छैनन्! तिनी निदाएकी मात्र हुन्!” BSB BSB: Meanwhile, everyone was weeping and mourning for her. But Jesus said, “Stop weeping; she is not dead but asleep.”
53 UDB र मानिसहरूले उहाँको हाँसो गरे, किनभने केटी मरेकी छिन् भनी तिनीहरू जान्दथे। BSB BSB: And they laughed at Him, knowing that she was dead.
54 UDB तर येशूले तिनको हात समात्नुभयो र यसो भन्दै तिनलाई बोलाउनु भयो, “बालिका उठ!“ BSB BSB: But Jesus took her by the hand and called out, “Child, get up!”
