Again the crowds came to Him and He taught them, as was His custom.

9 UDB त्यो कुरा सत्य भएको कारणले, एकजना मानिस आफ्नो श्रीमतीबाट अलग हुनुहुँदैन। परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई एकसाथ जोड्नुभएको छ र तिनीहरू एकसाथ रहून् भन्ने इच्छा गर्नुभएको छ!” BSB BSB: Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”
10 UDB जब येशू र उहाँका चेलाहरू मात्र एउटा घरमा हुनुहुन्थ्यो, तिनीहरूले यसको बारेमा फेरि उहाँलाई सोधे। BSB BSB: When they were back inside the house, the disciples asked Jesus about this matter.
11 UDB उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “आफ्नो श्रीमतीसँग सम्बन्धविच्छेद गर्ने र अर्को स्त्रीसँग विवाह गर्ने, कुनै पनि मानिसलाई परमेश्वरले व्यभिचारी भएको विचार गर्नुहुन्छ। BSB BSB: So He told them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her.
12 UDB आफ्नो पतिसँग सम्बन्धविच्छेद गर्ने र अर्को पुरुषसँग विवाह गर्ने, कुनै पनि स्त्रीलाई पनि परमेश्वरले व्यभिचारी भएको विचार गर्नुहुन्छ।” BSB BSB: And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery.”
13 UDB यतिबेला मानिसहरूले बालबालिकालाई येशूकहाँ ल्याउँदै थिए जसले गर्दा उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई छुनु र ोआशिष् दिनुभएको होस्। तर चेलाहरूले ती मानिसहरूलाई गाली गरे। BSB BSB: Now people were bringing the little children to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them, and the disciples rebuked those who brought them.

For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
15 UDB यो ध्यान देओ: बालबिकाले गरेझैं मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरलाई आफ्नो राजाको रूपमा ग्रहण गर्दैनन् भने, परमेश्वरले निश्चित रूपमा तिनीहरूमाथि राज्य गर्न खुशी हुनुहुने छैन।” BSB BSB: Truly I tell you, anyone who does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
16 UDB अनि उहाँले बालबिकालाई अंगालोमा लिनुभयो। उहाँले आफ्नाो हातहरू तिनीहरूमाथि राख्नुभयो र परमेश्वरसँग बिन्ती गर्नुभयो र तिनीहरूको असल होस् भनी परमेश्वरसँग पुकारा गर्नुभयो। BSB BSB: And He took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them, and blessed them.
17 UDB येशूले फेरि पनि आफ्ना चेलाहरूसँग यात्रा गर्न शुरु गर्नुहुँदा, एकजना मानिस उहाँकहाँ दौडेर आयो। उसले येशू अगाडि घुँडा टेक्यो र सोध्यो, “असल गुरूज्यू, अनन्त जीवन पाउनका लागि मैले के गर्नुपर्छ?” BSB BSB: As Jesus started on His way, a man ran up and knelt before Him. “Good Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

19 UDB तर तिम्रो प्रश्नको उत्तर दिनलाई, के तिमीलाई मोशाका आज्ञाहरू थाहा छ: कसैको हत्या नगर्नु, व्यभिचार नगर्नु, चोरी नगर्नु, झूटो गवाही नदिनु, कसैलाई नठग्नु र आफ्ना बुबा र आमाको आदर गर्नु’।” BSB BSB: You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not cheat others, honor your father and mother.’”
20 UDB त्यस मानिसले उहाँलाई भन्यो, “गरूज्यू, मैले आफ्नो बाल्यकालदेखि नै यी सबै आज्ञाहरू पालन गरेको छु।” BSB BSB: “Teacher,” he replied, “all these I have kept from my youth.”
21 UDB येशूले त्यसलाई हेर्नुभयो र प्रेम गर्नुभयो। उहाँले त्यसलाई भन्नुभयो, “एउटा कुरा छ जुन तिमीले अहिलेसम्म गरेका छैनौ। तिमी घर जानुपर्छ, तिम्रा सबै धनदौलत बेच्नुपर्छ, र गरीबहरूलाई त्यो पैसा दिनुपर्छ। परिणामस्वरूप, तिमीसित स्वर्गमा धनदौलत हुनेछ। मैले तिमीलाई भनेको कुरा तिमीले गरेपछि, आउनुपर्छ र मेरो पछि लाग्नुपर्छ!” BSB BSB: Jesus looked at him, loved him, and said to him, “There is one thing you lack: Go, sell everything you own and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
22 UDB येशूले दिनुभएको सुझावहरू सुनेपछि, त्यो मानिस दुःखी भयो। ऊ उदास भएर गयो किनभने ऊ धेरै धनी थियो। BSB BSB: But the man was saddened by these words and went away in sorrow, because he had great wealth.

24 UDB उहाँले भन्नुभएको कुराले चेलाहरू अलमलमा परे। येशूले फेरि भन्नुभयो, “मेरा प्यारा मित्रहरू, कसैले आफ्नो जीवनमा परमेश्वरलाई राज्य दिन सक्ने कुरा धेरै कठिन छ। BSB BSB: And the disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!
25 UDB धनी मानिसले आफ्नो जीवनमा परमेश्वरलाई राज्य गर्न दिन सक्ने कुराभन्दा त ऊँटजस्तो ठूलो जनावरलाई सियोको नाथ्रीबाट छिर्न सजिलो हुन्छ।” BSB BSB: It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
26 UDB चेलाहरू धेरै आश्चर्यचकित भए। यसैले तिनीहरूले एक-आपसमा भने, “यदि त्यस्तो हो भने, कोही पनि बचाइनेछैन!” BSB BSB: They were even more astonished and said to one another, “Who then can be saved?”
27 UDB येशूले तिनीहरूलाई हेर्नुभयो र त्यसपछि उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “हो, मानिसहरूले आफैंलाई बचाउने कुरा असम्भव छ! तर निश्चित रूपमा परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई बचाउन सक्नुहुन्छ, किनभने परमेश्वरले कुनै पनि कुरा गर्न सक्नुहुन्छ!” BSB BSB: Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
28 UDB पत्रुसले भने्, “हेर्नुहोस्, हामीहरूले हरेक कुरा त्याग्यौं र तपाईंलाई पछि लाग्यौं। BSB BSB: Peter began to say to Him, “Look, we have left everything and followed You.”
29 UDB येशूले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “तिमीले यो जान भन्ने म इच्छा गर्छु: जसले मेरो र सुसमाचारको निम्ति आफ्ना घरहरू, आफ्ना दाजुभाइ, आफ्ना दिदीबहिनी, आफ्नो बुबा, आफ्नो आमा, आफ्ना छोराछोरी वा आफ्नो जग्गा-जमिन छोड्छ, BSB BSB: “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for My sake and for the gospel
30 UDB तिनीहरूले छोडेका भन्दा सय गुणा बढी तिनीहरूले यस जीवनमा पाउनेछन्। घरहरू तथा दाजुभाइ र दिदीबहिनी र आमाहरू र छोराछोरी जस्तै प्रीय मानिसहरू अनि जग्गा-जमिन समेत त्यसमा समावेश हुन्छ। अझ बढी, तिनीहरूले मलाई विश्वास गरेको कारणले यहाँ पृथ्वीमा तिनीहरूलाई मानिसहरूले सताए तापनि, भविष्यको युगमा तिनीहरूले अनन्त जीवन पाउनेछन्। BSB BSB: will fail to receive a hundredfold in the present age—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, along with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.
31 UDB तर म तिमीहरू सबैलाई चेतावनी दिन्छु: धेरैजना जसले यतिबेला आफैंलाई धेरै महात्त्वको ठान्छन्, तिनीहरू भविष्यको समयमा महत्त्वरहित हुनेछन्, र जसले यतिबेला आफैंलाई महत्त्वरहित ठान्छन्, तिनीहरू भविष्यको समयमा धेरै महत्त्वको हुनेछन्!” BSB BSB: But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.”
32 UDB केही दिनपछि जसै उहाँहरूले निरन्तर यात्रा गर्नुभयो, येशू र उहाँका चेलाहरू यरूशलेम जाने बाटोमा हिड्दै हुनुहुन्थ्यो। येशू तिनीहरूका अघिअघि ोहिंड्दै हुनुहुन्थ्यो। चेलाहरू छक्क परेका थिए र उहाँहरूको साथमा भएका अरू मानिसहरू डराएका थिए। बाटोको हिंड्दैगर्दा, उहाँले बाह्रजना चेलाहरूलाई मात्र एकातिर लानुभयो। अनि उहाँले आफूलाई जे हुन लाग्दै थियो त्यसको बारेमा उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्न लाग्नुभयो; उहाँले भन्नुभयो, BSB BSB: As they were going up the road to Jerusalem, Jesus was walking ahead of them. The disciples were amazed, but those who followed were afraid. Again Jesus took the Twelve aside and began to tell them what was going to happen to Him:
33 UDB “ध्यानपूर्वक सुन! हामी यरूशलेमसम्म जाँदैछौं। त्यहाँ मुख्य पुजारीहरू र व्यवस्थाहरू सिकाउँने मानिसहरूले म, मानिसको पुत्रलाई गिरफ्तार गर्नेछन्। तिनीहरूले मलाई मृत्युदण्ड दिनुपर्छ भनी घोषणा गर्नेछन्। अनि तिनीहरूले मलाई रोमी अधिकारीहरूकहाँ लानेछन्। BSB BSB: “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes. They will condemn Him to death and will deliver Him over to the Gentiles,
34 UDB तिनीहरूकाो मानिसहरूले मलाई गिल्ला गर्नेछन् र मलाई थुक्नेछन्। तिनीहरूले मलाई कोर्रा लगाउनेछन् र त्यसपछि तिनीहरूले मलाई मार्नेछन्। तर त्यसको तेस्रो दिनपछि, म फेरि जीवित हुनेछु!” BSB BSB: who will mock Him and spit on Him and flog Him and kill Him. And after three days He will rise again.”
35 UDB बाटोमा जाँदै गर्नुहुँदा, जब्दियाका छोराहरू, याकूब र यूहन्ना येशूक नजीक आए र उहाँलाई भने, “गरूज्यू, हाम्रो निम्ति तपाईंले केही गर्नुहोस् भन्ने हाम्रो इच्छा छ!” BSB BSB: Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Jesus and declared, “Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask.”
36 UDB उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई सोध्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूका निम्ति मैले के गरौं भन्ने तिमीहरूको इच्छा छ?” BSB BSB: “What do you want Me to do for you?” He inquired.
37 UDB तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई भने, “तपाईं आफ्नो राज्यको राजा बन्नुहुँदा, हामीहरूमध्ये एकजनालाई तपाईंको दाहिनेपट्टि र एकजनालाई तपाईंको देब्रेपट्टि बस्न दिनुहोस्।” BSB BSB: They answered, “Grant that one of us may sit at Your right hand and the other at Your left in Your glory.”

40 UDB तर मेरो आशनको नजीक को बस्नेछ भनी छान्ने काम मेरो होइन। परमेश्वरले पहिलेबाट नै जसलाई ती ठाउँहरू दिनलाई चुन्नुहुन्छ तिनीहरूलाई नै उहाँले दिनुहुन्छ।” BSB BSB: But to sit at My right or left is not Mine to grant. These seats belong to those for whom they have been prepared.”
41 UDB याकूब र यूहन्नाले के कुराको लागि बिन्ति गरेका थिए भनी पछि अरू दसजना चेलाहरूले सुने। यसैले तिनीहरूले भने कि ती दुईजना चेलासँग तिनीहरू खुशी थिएनन्। BSB BSB: When the ten heard about this, they became indignant with James and John.
42 UDB त्यसपछि येशूले तिनीहरू सबैलाई एकसाथ बोलाउनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “मानिसहरूमाथि शासन गर्ने राजाहरू र अरूहरूले आफूलाई शक्तिशाली देखाउन पाउँदा आनन्द गर्छन् भनी तिमीहरू जान्दछौ। तिनीहरूका अधिकारीहरूले अरूलाई आदेश दिन पाउँदा आनन्दि हुन्छन् भनी तिमीहरू जान्दछौ। BSB BSB: So Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their superiors exercise authority over them.
43 UDB तर तिनीहरू जस्तो नहोओ! त्यसको साटोमा तिमीहरूमध्ये परमेश्वरले आफूलाई महान विचार गर्नुभएको होस् भन्ने इच्छा गर्नेहरू बाँकी अरूका सेवकहरू हुनुपर्छ। BSB BSB: But it shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
44 UDB अझ बढी, तिमीहरूमध्ये कसैले परमेश्वरले उसलाई ज्यादै महत्त्वपूर्ण विचार गर्नुभएको होस् भन्ने इच्छा गर्नेले तिमीहरूमध्ये बाँकीको दास जस्तै भएर काम गर्नुपर्छ। BSB BSB: and whoever wants to be first must be the slave of all.
46 UDB यरूशलेमको बाटोमा, येशू र चेलाहरू यरीहो आउनुभयो। त्यसपछि ठूलो भीडसँगै उहाँहरू यरीहोबाट जान लाग्नुहुँदा, सधैं पैसा माग्ने एकजना दृष्टिविहीन मानिस बाटोको छेउमा बसिरहेको थियो। उसको नाम बारतिमै थियो र उसको बुबाको नाम तिमैा थियो। BSB BSB: Next, they came to Jericho. And as Jesus and His disciples were leaving Jericho with a large crowd, a blind beggar named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting beside the road.
47 UDB जब नासरतको येशू त्यहाँबाट जाँदै हुनुहुन्छ भनी मानिसहरूले भनेको उसले सुन्यो, ऊ चिच्यायो, "येशू! तपाईं जो दाऊद राजाका सन्तान ख्रीष्ट हुनुहुन्छ, ममाथि दया गर्नुहोस्!" BSB BSB: When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
48 UDB धेरै मानिसहरूले उसलाई हप्काए र उसलाई चुप लाग्न भने। तर ऊ अझ बढी चिच्यायो, "तपाईं जो दाऊद राजाका सन्तान ख्रीष्ट हुनुहुन्छ, ममाथि दया गर्नुहोस्!" BSB BSB: Many people admonished him to be silent, but he cried out all the louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
49 UDB येशू रोकिनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “उसलाई यहाँ आउनलाई बोलाओ!” तिनीहरूले त्यस दृष्टिविहीन मानिसलाई यसो भन्दै बोलाए, "येशूले तिमीलाई बोलाउँदै हुनुहुन्छ! यसैले खुशी होऊ र उठ र आऊ!” BSB BSB: Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called the blind man. “Take courage!” they said. “Get up! He is calling for you.”
50 UDB ऊ उठ्दा उसले आफ्नो खाष्टो छेउतिर फाल्यो र ऊ येशूकहाँ आयो। BSB BSB: Throwing off his cloak, Bartimaeus jumped up and came to Jesus.
51 UDB येशूले उसलाई सोध्नुभयो, “तिम्रो लागि म के गरौं भन्ने तिम्रो इच्छा छ?” त्यो दृष्टिविहिन मानिसले उहाँलाई भन्यो, “गुरूज्यू, म फेरि देख्न सक्ने हुन सकूँ भन्ने इच्छा छ!” BSB BSB: “What do you want Me to do for you?” Jesus asked. “Rabboni,” said the blind man, “let me see again.”
52 UDB येशूले उसलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीले मलाई विश्वास गरेको कारणले म तिमीलाई निको पार्दैछु। यसैले तिमी जान सक्छौ!” उसले तुरन्तै देख्न सक्यो। र ऊ येशूसँगै बाटोमा हिंड्दै गयो। BSB BSB: “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
