1 UDB ଯିହୁଦା ପ୍ରଦେଶର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସହରରେ ରହୁଥିବା ପ୍ରେରିତମାନେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ, ଅଣଯିହୁଦୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସୁସମାଚ଼ାର ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି I BSB BSB: The apostles and brothers throughout Judea soon heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
2 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ସେଥିରେ ଥିବା କିଛି ଯିହୁଦୀ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ଚାହିଁଲେ କି ଅଣଯିହୁଦୀ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସୁନ୍ନତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ I ପିତର କାଈସରିଆରୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଫେରିବା ପରେ ତା’ଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସମାଲୋଚ଼ନା କଲେ I BSB BSB: So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers took issue with him
3 UDB ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, "ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସୁନ୍ନତ ନ ହୋଇଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଘରକୁ ଯାଇଛ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଭୋଜନ ମଧ୍ୟ କରିଛ। ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭୁଲ କରିଛ I BSB BSB: and said, “You visited uncircumcised men and ate with them.”
4 UDB ତେଣୁ ପିତର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଘଟଣାମାନ ଯାହା ଘଟିଥିଲା ତାହା ବୁଝାଇ କହିଲେ I BSB BSB: But Peter began and explained to them the whole sequence of events:
5 UDB ସେ କହିଲେ, "ମୁଁ ଯୋଫା ନଗରରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲା ବେଳେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଦିବ୍ୟଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଖିଲି। ଗୋଟିଏ ଚାଦର ଚ଼ାରି କୋଣରୁ ଧରା ଯାଇ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରୁ ମୋ’ ଆଡ଼କୁ ଖସି ଆସୁଥିବାର ମୁଁ ଦେଖିଲି। BSB BSB: “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision of something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came right down to me.
6 UDB ମୁଁ ମନଯୋଗ ସହିତ ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କରି ଦେଖିଲି ଯେ, ସେଥିରେ କିଛି ପଶୁ, ଜଙ୍ଗଲୀ ଜନ୍ତୁ, ସରୀସୃପ, ଓ ଆକାଶର ପକ୍ଷୀସବୁ ଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: I looked at it closely and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds of the air.
7 UDB ତା'ପରେ ମୁଁ ମୋତେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେବାର ଶୁଣିଲି, 'ପିତର, ଉଠ। ଏମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତରୁ କୌଣସିଟିକୁ ମାରି ଖାଅ।' BSB BSB: Then I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Get up, Peter, kill and eat.’
8 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ କହିଲି, 'ପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୁଁ ଏହା କଦାପି କରିବି ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ମୁଁ କେବେ ଅପବିତ୍ର ଓ ଅପରିଷ୍କାର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଇନାହିଁ ଯାହା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ I' BSB BSB: ‘No, Lord,’ I said, ‘for nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’
9 UDB ପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋତେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରୁ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଥର କହିବାର ଶୁଣିଲି,' ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୁଁ ଯାହା ସବୁ ପବିତ୍ର କରିଛି, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅପବିତ୍ର ବୋଲି କହିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ।' BSB BSB: But the voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’
10 UDB ଏହିପରି ଦୁଇ ଥର ହେବା ପରେ, ସବୁ ପଶୁ ଓ ପକ୍ଷୀକୁ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗକୁ ଉଠାଇ ନିଆଗଲା। BSB BSB: This happened three times, and everything was drawn back up into heaven.
11 UDB ଠିକ୍ ସେହି ସମୟରେ ତିନିଜଣ ମଣିଷ ଆମ୍ଭେ ରହୁଥିବା ଘରକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କାଇସରୀଆରୁ ମୋ ପାଖକୁ ପଠାଯାଇଥିଲା। BSB BSB: Just then three men sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying.
12 UDB ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଲେ ଯେ ଅଣ ଯିହୁଦୀ ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବିନା ସଙ୍କୋଚ଼ରେ ଯିବାପାଇଁ ହେବ। ମୋ’ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ କାଇସରୀଆରେ ଥିବା ଏହି ଛଅଜଣ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ଭାଇ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆସିଥିଲେ। ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣୀଲିୟଙ୍କ ଜଣେ ଅଣ ଯିହୁଦୀ ଘରକୁ ଗଲୁ I BSB BSB: The Spirit told me to accompany them without hesitation. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s home.
14 UDB ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଘରେ ରହୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କିପରି ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବାକୁ ହେବ ତାହା କହିବେ। BSB BSB: He will convey to you a message by which you and all your household will be saved.’
15 UDB ମୁଁ କହିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲା ମାତ୍ରେ, ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସିଲେ, ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରଥମରେ ପେଣ୍ଟିକଷ୍ଟରେ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସିଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, just as He had fallen upon us at the beginning.
16 UDB ସେତେବେଳ ମୋର ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯାହା କହିଥିଲେ ତାହା ମନେ ପଡ଼ିଲା। ସେ କହିଥିଲେ, 'ଯୋହନ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଳରେ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ଦେଇଥିଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଈଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାରେ ବାପ୍ତିଜିତ କରିବେ।' BSB BSB: Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
17 UDB ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବାରୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେପରି ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଦାନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ, ସେହିପରି ଯଦି ସେ ଅଣ ଯିହୁଦୀ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ସମାନ ଦାନ ଦେଲେ, ତେବେ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଭୁଲ କରିଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି କିପରି କହିବି? BSB BSB: So if God gave them the same gift He gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to hinder the work of God?”
18 UDB ଯିହୁଦୀୟ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ ପିତରଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣି ଆଉ ଯୁକ୍ତିତର୍କ କଲେ ନାହିଁ। ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କଲେ, ପୁଣି କହିଲେ, "ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ ହେଲା, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆମ୍ଭପରି ଅନ୍ୟ ଜାତିର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅନୁତାପ କରି ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନର ଅଧିକାରୀ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି I BSB BSB: When they heard this, they had no further objections, and they glorified God, saying, “So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life.”
19 UDB ସ୍ତିଫାନ ମୃତ ହେବା ପରେ ଯିରୁଶାଲମରେ ତାଡ଼ନା ଘଟିଲା ଓ ସେଥିପାଇଁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ ଚ଼ାରିଆଡ଼େ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ ହୋଇଗଲେ। ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେତେଜଣ ଫୈନୀକିଆ, କୁପ୍ର ଓ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆକୁ ଗଲେ। ସେଠାରେ ସେମାନେ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟତୀତ ଅନ୍ୟ କାହାରି ନିକଟରେ ସୁସମାଚ଼ାର ପ୍ରଚ଼ାର କଲେ ନାହିଁ I BSB BSB: Meanwhile those scattered by the persecution that began with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the message only to Jews.
21 UDB ପ୍ରଭୁ ସେହି ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶକ୍ତିର ସହିତ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସକ୍ଷମ କରୁଥିଲେ I ଫଳରେ, ଅନେକ ଅଣଯିହୁଦୀ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ବାଦ ଶୁଣି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲେ I BSB BSB: The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.
22 UDB ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆର ଅନେକେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ନେତାମାନେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବ୍ବାଙ୍କୁ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। BSB BSB: When news of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, they sent Barnabas to Antioch.
23 UDB ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବ୍ବା ସେଠାରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ସେହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିଛନ୍ତି ତାହା ଅନୁଭବ କଲେ ଓ ବହୁତ ଖୁସି ମଧ୍ୟ ହେଲ। ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆହୁରି ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କରି କହିଲେ, ସର୍ବାନ୍ତଃକରଣ ସହିତ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କର। BSB BSB: When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to abide in the Lord with all their hearts.
24 UDB ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବ୍ବା ଜଣେ ଉତ୍ତମ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଥିଲେ। ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ତାଙ୍କୁ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କରୁଥିଲା ଓ ସେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଅନେକ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଚରଣ ଲାଗି ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଶିଷ୍ୟ ହେଲେ I BSB BSB: Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.
25 UDB ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବ୍ବା ଶାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ଖୋଜିବା ପାଇଁ ତାର୍ଷ ନଗରକୁ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲେ। BSB BSB: Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
26 UDB ଯେତେବେଳ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପାଇଲେ, ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆକୁ ନେଇ ଆସିଲେ ଯେପରି ସେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ଶାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବ୍ବା ସେଠାରେ ବର୍ଷେ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରହି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କଲେ ଓ ବହୁତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଲେ। ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆରେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗମନକାରୀମାନେ ପ୍ରଥମରେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟିଆନ ନାମରେ ନାମିତ ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: and when he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. So for a full year they met together with the church and taught large numbers of people. The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.
27 UDB ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବ୍ବା ଓ ଶାଉଲ ସେଠାରେ ଥିବା ବେଳେ କେତେକ ଭାବବାଦୀ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରୁ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆକୁ ଆସିଲେ। BSB BSB: In those days some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
28 UDB ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆଗାବା ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଭାବବାଦୀ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦବାଣୀ କହିଲେ, "ଏ ସମଗ୍ର ପୃଥିବୀରେ ମହାଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ପଡ଼ିବ, ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଲୋକମାନେ କିଛି ଖାଇବାକୁ ପାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।" (ଏହି ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ କ୍ଲାଉଦିଅ କାଇସରଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ପଡିଥିଲା)। BSB BSB: One of them named Agabus stood up and predicted through the Spirit that a great famine would sweep across the whole world. (This happened under Claudius.)
29 UDB ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ ଆଗାବାଙ୍କ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦବାଣୀ ଶୁଣି ସ୍ଥିର କଲେ ଯେ, ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟ ଅନୁସାରେ ଯିହୁଦାର ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ପଠାଇବେ। BSB BSB: So the disciples, each according to his ability, decided to send relief to the brothers living in Judea.
30 UDB ସେମାନେ ସବୁ ପଇସା ଶାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବ୍ବାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଯିହୁଦାର ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେରଣ କଲେ। BSB BSB: This they did, sending their gifts to the elders with Barnabas and Saul.
