3 UDB ତେଣୁ ସେମାନେ ଉପବାସ ଓ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବା ଜାରି ରଖିଲେ I ପରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ଓ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ହସ୍ତାର୍ପଣ କରି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରି ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଯାହା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଦେଶ କଲେ ତାହା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବିଦାୟ କଲେ। BSB BSB: And after they had fasted and prayed, they laid their hands on them and sent them off.
4 UDB ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ଓ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କୁ କେଉଁ ଆଡ଼େ ଯିବାକୁ ହେବ ଜଣାଇଲେ I ପରେ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆ ଛାଡି ସେଲିକିଆ ନଗରକୁ ଗଲେ I ସେଠାରୁ ସେମାନେ ଜାହାଜରେ ସାଇପ୍ରସ୍ ଉପଦ୍ୱୀପର ସାଲାମି ସହରକୁ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲେ। BSB BSB: So Barnabas and Saul, sent forth by the Holy Spirit, went down to Seleucia and sailed from there to Cyprus.
5 UDB ସେମାନେ ସାଲାମି ନଗରରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ସମାଜଗୃହଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଚ଼ାର କଲେ। ଯୋହନ ମାର୍କ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ରହି ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରୁଥିଲେ I BSB BSB: When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. And John was with them as their helper.
6 UDB ସେମାନେ ଉପଦ୍ୱୀପରେ ସର୍ବତ୍ର ବୁଲିବୁଲି ପାଫ ନଗରରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ସେଠାରେ ସେମାନେ ବର୍ଯୀଶୁ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଯିହୁଦୀ ଭଣ୍ଡ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାକୁ ଦେଖିଲେ। ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ନାନା ଯାଦୁକର୍ମ ଦେଖାଉଥିଲା। BSB BSB: They traveled through the whole island as far as Paphos, where they found a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus,
8 UDB ମାତ୍ର ଯାଦୁଗର ଗ୍ରୀକ୍ ଭାଷାରେ ଅଲ୍ଲୀମା ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ଓ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ବାଧା ଦେଲା। ଅଲ୍ଲୀମା ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳ ଯେପରି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ନ କରନ୍ତି ସେଥିପାଇଁ ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଇଲା I BSB BSB: But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith.
9 UDB ତେଣୁ ପାଉଲ ନାମରେ ପରିଚ଼ିତ ଶାଉଲ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇ ଅଲ୍ଲୀମା ଯାଦୁକରକୁ ଏକ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଚ଼ାହିଁ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲା, BSB BSB: Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked directly at Elymas
10 UDB " ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୟତାନର ପୁତ୍ର ଅଟ! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକାର ସଠିକ୍ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଶତ୍ରୁ ଅଟ I ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସବୁ ପ୍ରକାର ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଥ୍ୟା କହୁଅଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସର୍ବଦା ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସତ୍ୟକୁ ମିଥ୍ୟା କହିବା ବନ୍ଦ କର। BSB BSB: and said, “O child of the devil and enemy of all righteousness, you are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery! Will you never stop perverting the straight ways of the Lord?
11 UDB ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଆଣିବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନ୍ଧ ହୋଇଯିବ ଓ କିଛି ସମୟ ପାଇଁ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆଲୁଅ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଖି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ I ସେହି କ୍ଷଣି ସେ ଅନ୍ଧ ହେଲେ ଯେପରି ସେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ରହି ଦରାଣ୍ଡି ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ଓ ବାଟ କଢ଼େଇ ନେବା ପାଇଁ ଜଣକୁ ଖୋଜୁଥିଲେ I BSB BSB: Now look, the hand of the Lord is against you, and for a time you will be blind and unable to see the light of the sun.” Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand.

13 UDB ତା’ପରେ ପାଉଲ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ବନ୍ଧୁମାନେ ପାଫ ନଗର ଛାଡ଼ି ସମୁଦ୍ର ପଥରେ ଫଫୂଲିଆର ପର୍ଗିକୁ ଆସିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୋହନ ମାର୍କ ପର୍ଗିରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଫେରିଆସିଲେ I BSB BSB: After setting sail from Paphos, Paul and his companions came to Perga in Pamphylia, where John left them to return to Jerusalem.
15 UDB କେହି ଜଣେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ପୁସ୍ତକରୁ ପାଟିକରି ପଢ଼ିଲେ I ଆଉ ଜଣେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତବ୍ୟକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ପୁସ୍ତକରୁ ପଢ଼ିଲେ I ପରେ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ସଭା ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବ୍ବାକୁ ଖବର ପଠାଇଲେ," ସହ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନେ, ଯଦି କେହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚାହାନ୍ତି, ଦୟାକରି ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ କୁହନ୍ତୁ I BSB BSB: After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the synagogue leaders sent word to them: “Brothers, if you have a word of encouragement for the people, please speak.”
17 UDB ଯେଉଁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାଛିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ମିଶରରେ ବିଦେଶୀ ଭାବେ ରହୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବହୁଳ କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାହାଙ୍କ ମହାନ୍ ଶକ୍ତି ବଳରେ ସେଠାରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ I BSB BSB: The God of the people of Israel chose our fathers. He made them into a great people during their stay in Egypt, and with an uplifted arm He led them out of that land.
18 UDB ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଚ଼ାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଆଚ଼ରଣ ସହିଲେ ଯଦିଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲୀୟମାନେ ବାରମ୍ବାର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଅବାଧ୍ୟ ହେଲେ I BSB BSB: He endured their conduct for about forty years in the wilderness.
19 UDB ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କିଣାନ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ସାତୋଟି ଦେଶ ଉପରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜୟ ଲାଭ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସକ୍ଷମ କରାଇଲେ I ଏହି ସବୁ ଦେଶକୁ ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ ଭାବରେ ଅଧିକାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଦେଲେ I BSB BSB: And having vanquished seven nations in Canaan, He gave their land to His people as an inheritance.
20 UDB ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଘଟଣା ମିସର ଯିବାର 450 ବର୍ଷ ପରେ ଘଟିଲା I ଏହା ପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତା ଓ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ଶାସନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ I ସେମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କଲେ ଓ ଶାମୁଏଲ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଶେଷ ରାଜା ଭାବରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କଲେ I BSB BSB: All this took about 450 years. After this, God gave them judges until the time of Samuel the prophet.
21 UDB ଶାମୁଏଲ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନେତା ଥିବା ସମୟରେ, ଲୋକମାନେ ଏକ ରାଜା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାବି କଲେ ଯେପରି ସେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କରନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଶାଉଲକୁ ରାଜାରୂପେ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ, ସେ ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ କୀଶର ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ। ସେ ଚ଼ାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କଲେ। BSB BSB: Then the people asked for a king, and God gave them Saul son of Kish, from the tribe of Benjamin, who ruled forty years.
22 UDB ଶାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କରି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜା ଭାବରେ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ କହିଲେ, 'ମୁଁ ମୋର ଇଚ୍ଛା ଅନୁସାରେ ଯିଶିଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ପାଇଅଛି। ସେ ମୋ’ ଇଚ୍ଛା ଅନୁସାରେ ସବୁ ବିଷୟ କରିବ। BSB BSB: After removing Saul, He raised up David as their king and testified about him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse a man after My own heart; he will carry out My will in its entirety.’
23 UDB ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯେପରି ଦାଉଦ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପିତୃପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ ତଦନୁଯାୟୀ ଏହି ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ବଂଶର ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଉଦ୍ଧାରକର୍ତ୍ତା ଭାବରେ ଆଣିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁ I BSB BSB: From the descendants of this man, God has brought to Israel the Savior Jesus, as He promised.
24 UDB ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଆସିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଡୁବକ ଯୋହନ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଚ଼ାର କରି କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଜୀବନରେ ପାପ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହେବା ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ ଓ ସେମାନେ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ନେବେ। BSB BSB: Before the arrival of Jesus, John preached a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
25 UDB ଯୋହନ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି କହିଲେ,' ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ଭାବୁଛ ମୁଁ ସେହି ମସୀହ ଯାହାକୁ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରିବା ବିଷୟରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ? ନା, ମୁଁ ସେ ନୁହେଁ! ଶୁଣ,ମସୀହ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଆସୁଛନ୍ତି I ମୋ’ ପରେ ଆସୁଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାଙ୍କର ଜୋତାର ଫିତା ଫିଟେଇବା ପାଇଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ।' BSB BSB: As John was completing his course, he said, ‘Who do you suppose I am? I am not that One. But there is One coming after me whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.’
27 UDB ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ବାସିନ୍ଦାମାନେ ଓ ଯିହୁଦୀନେତାମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଚ଼ିହ୍ନି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବ୍ୟକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ସବୁ ପ୍ରତି ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦିବସରେ ପଢ଼ାଯାଉ ଥିଲା ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ତାହା ବୁଝିଲେ ନାହିଁ I ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବ୍ୟକ୍ତାମାନେ ଯାହା ପୂର୍ବରୁ କହିଥିଲେ ତାହା ସବୁ ସଫଳ ହେଲା ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦେଲେ। BSB BSB: The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus, yet in condemning Him they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath.
28 UDB ଅନେକ ଲୋକ ଯୀଶୁ ଭୁଲ କରୁଛନ୍ତି କହି ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦୋଷାରୋପ କଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦେବାର କିଛି କାରଣ ବା ଦୋଷ ନ ପାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମାରିଦେବା ପାଇଁ ପୀଲାତଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ। BSB BSB: And though they found no ground for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have Him executed.
29 UDB ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଯାହା ସବୁ ଲେଖା ହୋଇଥିଲା ସେ ଅନୁସାରେ ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତି କଲେ I ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରୁଶରେ କଣ୍ଟା ବିଦ୍ଧ କଲେ I ପରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରୁଶରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆଣି କବର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ରଖିଲେ I BSB BSB: When they had carried out all that was written about Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb.
30 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁରୁ ପୁନରୁତ୍ଥିତ କଲେ I BSB BSB: But God raised Him from the dead,
31 UDB "ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗାଲିଲୀରୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଆସିଥିବା ଅନୁଗମନକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନେକ ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ଏବେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସାକ୍ଷୀ ଅଟନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: and for many days He was seen by those who had accompanied Him from Galilee to Jerusalem. They are now His witnesses to our people.
32 UDB ଆମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କରାଯାଇଥିବା ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ଅନୁସାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁସମାଚ଼ାର ଶୁଣାଉଛୁ। ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ଚାହୁଛୁ ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯିହୁଦୀ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ପ୍ରତି ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ସଫଳ କରିଛନ୍ତି I BSB BSB: And now we proclaim to you the good news: What God promised our fathers
33 UDB ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସେହି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞାକୁ ଆମ୍ଭପରି ତାହାଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ଓ ଅଣଯିହୁଦୀ ମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁରୁ ଉଠାଇଅଛନ୍ତି I ଯାହା ଗୀତସଂହିତା ଦୁଇରେ ଲେଖାଅଛି, "ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋର ପୁତ୍ର, ଆଜି ମୁଁ ତୁମର ପିତା ହୋଇଅଛି I" BSB BSB: He has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.’
34 UDB ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁରୁ ପୁନରୁତ୍ଥିତ କଲେ, ଯେପରି ତାହାଙ୍କର ଶରୀର ପୁଣିଥରେ କବରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇ କ୍ଷୟ ନ ହୁଏ। ଏ ବିଷୟରେ ସେ ଯିହୁଦୀ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ତୁମକୁ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବି, ଯେପରି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଦାଉଦକୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲି I BSB BSB: In fact, God raised Him from the dead, never to see decay. As He has said: ‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings promised to David.’
35 UDB ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ଆଉ ଏକ ଗୀତସଂହିତାରେ, ସେ ମସୀହ ବିଷୟରେ କହନ୍ତି, "ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶରୀର ଯାହା ପବିତ୍ର ତାହା କେବେ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ I BSB BSB: So also, He says in another Psalm: ‘You will not let Your Holy One see decay.’
36 UDB ଦାଉଦ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଯୁଗରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଇଚ୍ଛା ଅନୁସାରେ ସେବାକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରି ସାରିଲା ପରେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁବରଣ କଲେ ଓ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ତାଙ୍କୁ ସମାଧି ଦିଆଗଲା ଓ ସେ କ୍ଷୟ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ। ତେବେ ସେ ନିଜର ପୁନରୁତ୍ଥାନ ବିଷୟରେ କହୁ ନାହାନ୍ତି I BSB BSB: For when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep. His body was buried with his fathers and saw decay.
37 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁରୁ ଉଠାଇଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ଶରୀର କ୍ଷୟପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ I BSB BSB: But the One whom God raised from the dead did not see decay.
38 UDB ତେଣୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଭାଇମାନେ, ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ବନ୍ଧୁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଜାଣିବା ଉଚିତ ଯେ, କେବଳ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଦ୍ୱାରା ହିଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ପାପ କ୍ଷମା ହୋଇପାରେ। ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କେବେ ପାପରୁ ମୁକ୍ତି ପାଇପାରିବ ନାହିଁ ମାତ୍ର ଯୀଶୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ। BSB BSB: Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.
39 UDB ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲେ ସେମାନେ ଆଉ କେଉଁ ପାପ ବିଷୟରେ ଦୋଷୀ ମନୋଭାବ ରଖିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ I BSB BSB: Through Him everyone who believes is justified from everything from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
40 UDB ତେଣୁ ସାବଧାନ ରୁହ ଯେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଯାହା କହିଥିଲେ, ତାହା ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ନ ଘଟେ ବା ପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଚାର ନ କରନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: Watch out, then, that what was spoken by the prophets does not happen to you:
41 UDB ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଯାହା ପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଥିଲେ ତାହା ଲେଖିଲେ," ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେ ମୋତେ ପରିହାସ କରୁଅଛ, ମୋର କାମ ଦେଖି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ବିସ୍ମିତ ହେବ ଓ ପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନଷ୍ଟ ହେବ I ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିସ୍ମିତ ହେବ କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମକୁ ଭୟଙ୍କର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରି ଦେଖାଇବି I ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବ ନାହିଁ I BSB BSB: ‘Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish! For I am doing a work in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.’”
42 UDB ପାଉଲ କଥା ସମାପ୍ତ କଲା ପରେ ସେ ଚାଲିଗଲେ ଓ ଅନେକ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ବାରରେ ଫେରିଆସିବା ପାଇଁ କହିଲେ ଓ ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ଆଉ ଥରେ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କଲେ I BSB BSB: As Paul and Barnabas were leaving the synagogue, the people urged them to continue this message on the next Sabbath.
43 UDB ସଭା ସମାପ୍ତ ହେବାପରେ ଅନେକ ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବାଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଯିହୁଦୀୟ ଓ ଅଣ-ଯିହୁଦୀ ଧର୍ମର ସତ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉପାସକ ଥିଲେ I ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅନୁଗ୍ରହରେ ପାପ କ୍ଷମା କରନ୍ତି ତାଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସରେ ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇ ରାହିବାପାଇଁ କହିଲେ I BSB BSB: After the synagogue was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who spoke to them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.
44 UDB ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାରରେ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆ ସହରର ପ୍ରାୟସବୁ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଶୁଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ସଭା ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଏକାଠି ହେଲେ I BSB BSB: On the following Sabbath, nearly the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.
45 UDB ଯିହୁଦୀୟମାନେ ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଶୁଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଭିଡ଼ ଦେଖି ଈର୍ଷା କଲେ। ସେମାନେ ପାଉଲଙ୍କ ବିପରିତ କଥା କହି ପାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ଅପମାନ କଲେ I BSB BSB: But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy, and they blasphemously contradicted what Paul was saying.
46 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ସାହସରେ ଯିହୁଦୀ ନେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, "ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ସୁସମାଚ଼ାର ପ୍ରଥମେ ଯିହୁଦୀ ମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ କୁହାଯିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ଥିଲା ଓ ପରେ ଅଣ-ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହା ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନ ପାଇଁ ନିଜକୁ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଭାବି ନ ଥିବାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟଜାତୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଯିବା I BSB BSB: Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. But since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.
47 UDB ପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହି ଆଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏ ସବୁ କରୁଅଛୁ I ସେ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ କହିଲେ,"ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଅଛି ମୋ ବିଷୟରେ ଅଣ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ଯେ ସେମାନେ ଜଗତର ଜୋତିଃ ହେବେ I ମୁଁ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଛନ୍ତି I BSB BSB: For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
48 UDB ସେତେବେଳେ ଅଣ ଯିହୁଦୀ ମାନେ ଏହା ଶୁଣି ଖୁସି ହେଲେ ଓ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସୁସମାଚ଼ାରର ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କଲେ I ଯେଉଁ ଅଣ-ଯିହୁଦୀମାନେ ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନୋନୀତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ, ସେହି ଲୋକମାନେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲେ। BSB BSB: When the Gentiles heard this, they rejoiced and glorified the word of the Lord, and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.
49 UDB ସେହି ସମୟରେ, ଅନେକ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଜାଗାକୁ ଯାତ୍ରା କରି ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଦେଶର ଚ଼ାରିଆଡ଼େ ପ୍ରଚାର କଲେ I BSB BSB: And the word of the Lord spread throughout that region.
50 UDB ଯିହୁଦୀୟମାନେ ଯିହୁଦୀଧର୍ମର ଉଚ୍ଚବଂଶୀୟ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ’ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଓ ନଗରର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବର୍ତ୍ତା କଲେ। ସେମାନେ ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଇଲେ। ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଡ଼ନା କରିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେହି ଅଞ୍ଚଳରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଦେଲେ I BSB BSB: The Jews, however, incited the religious women of prominence and the leading men of the city. They stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas and drove them out of their district.
51 UDB ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ସେ ଜାଗା ଛାଡିବା ସମୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପାଦର ଧୂଳି ଝାଡ଼ି ଏହା ଜଣାଇଲେ ଯେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦେବେ I ସେମାନେ ସେହି ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆ ସହର ଛାଡି ଇକନୀୟ ନଗରକୁ ଚ଼ାଲିଗଲେ I BSB BSB: So they shook the dust off their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium.
52 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଓ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇ ରହିଲେ I BSB BSB: And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
