1ଏହା ପରେ ପାଉଲ ଆଥାନୀ ନଗରକୁ ଛାଡି କରିନ୍ଥୀ ନଗରକୁ ଗଲେ।After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth.

2ସେଠାରେ ସେ ପନ୍ତ ଦେଶୀୟ ଆକ୍ୱିଲା ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଯିହୁଦୀୟକୁ ଭେଟିଲେ। ସେ ତା'ର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରୀସ୍କିଲ୍ଲା ସହିତ ଇତାଲିଆ ଦେଶରୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ। ସେ ସମୟରେ କ୍ଲାଉଦିଆ ସମ୍ରାଟ ସମସ୍ତ ଯିହୁଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ରୋମ୍ ଛାଡ଼ି ଚ଼ାଲିଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସେମାନେ ଇତାଲିଆ ଛାଡ଼ି ଚ଼ାଲିଆସଲେ।There he found a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla because Claudius had ordered all the Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to visit them,

3ଆକ୍ୱିଲା ଓ ପ୍ରୀସ୍କିଲ୍ଲା ତମ୍ବୁ ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀ ଥିଲେ। ପାଉଲ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀ ଥିଲେ I ତେଣୁ ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ରହି ସେହି କାମ କଲେ Iand he stayed and worked with them because they were tentmakers by trade, just as he was.

4ପାଉଲ ପ୍ରତି ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ଦିନ ସମାଜ ସଭାଗୃହରେ ଯିହୁଦୀୟ ଓ ଗ୍ରୀକ୍ ମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚା କରୁଥିଲେ I ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଲେ।Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks alike.

5ଯେତେବେଳେ ଶୀଲା ଓ ତୀମଥି ମାକିଦନିଆରୁ ଆସିଲେ, ପାଉଲ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଚାଳିତ ହୋଇ ଯିହୁଦୀ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଯେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଅଟନ୍ତି ତାହା କହିଲେ।And when Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself fully to the word, testifying to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

6କିନ୍ତୁ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନେ ପାଉଲଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ନାନା ଖରାପ କଥାକହିଲେ I ତହିଁରେ ପାଉଲ ନିଜର ଲୁଗାପଟାର ଧୂଳି ଝାଡ଼ି ସେ କହିଲେ, "ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଉନାହଁ, ତାହାହେଲେ ଏହା ମୋର ଦୋଷ ନୁହେଁ। ମୁଁ ଏବେଠାରୁ ଅଣଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଯିବି।But when they opposed and insulted him, he shook out his garments and told them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent of it. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

7ପାଉଲ ସମାଜଗୃହ ଛାଡ଼ି ସତ୍ୟ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ଅଣ ଯିହୁଦୀ ଉପାସକ ତିତସ ଯୂସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଘରକୁ ଗଲେ କାରଣ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଘର ସମାଜଗୃହ ପାଖରେ ଥିଲା ISo Paul left the synagogue and went next door to the house of Titus Justus, a worshiper of God.

8ପରେ କ୍ରୀଷ୍ପ ଯିଏ ସମାଜଗୃହର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପରିବାରର ସମସ୍ତେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ। ଅନେକ କରିନ୍ଥୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ପାଉଲଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଶୁଣି, ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ବାପ୍ତିଜିତ ହେଲେ ICrispus, the synagogue leader, and his whole household believed in the Lord. And many of the Corinthians who heard the message believed and were baptized.

9ଦିନେ ରାତିରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ପାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନରେ କହିଲେ, "ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ। ନୀରବ ରୁହ ନାହିଁ। କଥା କୁହ I"One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking; do not be silent.

10କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଅଛି। କେହି ତୁମ୍ଭର କିଛି କ୍ଷତି କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ମୋର ଅନେକ ଲୋକ ଏ ନଗରରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ମୋ’ ବିଷୟରେ କହି ଚାଲ IFor I am with you and no one will lay a hand on you, because I have many people in this city.”

11ତେଣୁ ପାଉଲ କରିନ୍ଥୀରେ ଦେଢ଼ ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରହିଲେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ସୁସମାଚ଼ାର ବିଷୟରେ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଲେ ISo Paul stayed for a year and a half, teaching the word of God among the Corinthians.

12ଗାଲ୍ଲିୟୋନ୍ ଆଖାୟାର ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳ ହେଲେ। ସେ ସମୟରେ ଯିହୁଦୀୟ ନେତାମାନେ ମିଳିତ ଭାବରେ ଚେ଼ଷ୍ଟା କରି ପାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ। ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅଦାଲତାକୁ ନେଇ ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳଙ୍କ ସାମନାରେ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ।While Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews coordinated an attack on Paul and brought him before the judgment seat.

13ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, "ଏହି ଲୋକ ଯେଉଁ ଉପାୟରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉପାସନା କରିବାପାଇଁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମତାଇ ଅଛି, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭ ଯିହୁଦୀ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ଅଟେ।“This man is persuading the people to worship God in ways contrary to the law,” they said.

14ପାଉଲ କହିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କହିବା ମାତ୍ରେ ଗାଲ୍ଲିୟୋନ ଯିହୁଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, "ଯଦି ଏହା ରୋମୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କୌଣସି ଅପରାଧର ଅଭିଯୋଗ ହୋଇଥା'ନ୍ତା, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର କଥା ଶୁଣିବା ମୋର କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ ହୋଇଥା'ନ୍ତା IBut just as Paul was about to speak, Gallio told the Jews, “If this matter involved a wrongdoing or vicious crime, O Jews, it would be reasonable for me to hear your complaint.

15କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାରେ ଲେଖାଥିବା ବାକ୍ୟ ଓ ନାମ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏହି ବଚସା ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନିଜେ ନିଜେ ଏହାର ସମାଧାନ କର। ଏହି ସବୁ ବିଷୟରେ ମୁଁ କୌଣସି ବିଚ଼ାର କରିବି ନାହିଁ।"But since it is a dispute about words and names and your own law, settle it yourselves. I refuse to be a judge of such things.”

16ଗାଲ୍ଲିୟୋନ ଏହା କହି ସୈନିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯିହୁଦୀନେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଦାଲତରୁ ବାହାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅଦେଶ କଲେ।And he drove them away from the judgment seat.

17ତା'ପରେ ସେମାନେ ସମାଜଗୃହର ପ୍ରଧାନ କର୍ତ୍ତା ସୋସ୍ଥନାଙ୍କୁ ଧରିନେଇ ଅଦାଲତ ସାମନାରେ ପିଟିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଗାଲ୍ଲିୟୋନ ଏଥି ପ୍ରତି ମୋଟେ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଦେଲା ନାହିଁ IAt this, the crowd seized Sosthenes the synagogue leader and beat him in front of the judgment seat. But none of this was of concern to Gallio.

18ପାଉଲ କରିନ୍ଥୀରେ ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଅନେକ ଦିନ ରହିଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ ବିଦାୟ ନେଇ ଜଳପଥରେ ପ୍ରୀସ୍କିଲ୍ଲା ଓ ଆକ୍ୱିଲା ସହିତ ସୁରିଆ ଦେଶକୁ ଗଲେ। ଏକ ଶପଥ କରିଥିବାରୁ ପାଉଲ କେଙ୍କ୍ରେୟାରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଲଣ୍ଡା କଲେ IPaul remained in Corinth for quite some time before saying goodbye to the brothers. He had his head shaved in Cenchrea to keep a vow he had made, and then he sailed for Syria, accompanied by Priscilla and Aquila.

19ତା'ପରେ ସେମାନେ ଏଫିସ ନଗରରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ସେଠାରେ ପାଉଲ ପ୍ରୀସ୍କିଲ୍ଲା ଓ ଆକ୍ୱିଲାଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ନିଜେ ସମାଜଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରେବଶ କଲେ ଓ ଯିହୁଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ କହିଲେ IWhen they reached Ephesus, Paul left Priscilla and Aquila. He himself went into the synagogue there and reasoned with the Jews.

20ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସେଠାରେ ଆଉ କିଛି ଦିନ ରହିବାକୁ କହିଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ପାଉଲ ରାଜି ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ IWhen they asked him to stay for a while longer, he declined.

21ସେ ଗଲା ବେଳେ କହିଲେ, "ଯଦି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଚ଼ାହାଁନ୍ତି, ତେବେ ମୁଁ ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସିବି।" ତା'ପରେ ସେ ଜଳପଥରେ ଏଫିସରୁ ବିଦାୟ ନେଲେ IBut as he left, he said, “I will come back to you if God is willing.” And he set sail from Ephesus.

22ପାଉଲ କାଇସରୀଆରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ମଣ୍ଡଳୀକୁ ଯାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆ ନଗରକୁ ଗଲେ IWhen Paul had landed at Caesarea, he went up and greeted the church at Jerusalem. Then he went down to Antioch.

23ସେଠାରେ ପାଉଲ କିଛି ଦିନ ରହିଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ ଗାଲାତୀୟ ଓ ଫ୍ରୁଗିଆ ଅଞ୍ଚଳକୁ ଚ଼ାଲିଗଲେ। ସେଠାରେ ସେ ସହରରୁ ସହର ବୁଲି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଉତ୍ସାହ ଦେଲେ।After Paul had spent some time in Antioch, he traveled from place to place throughout the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.

24ପାଉଲ ଗାଲାତୀୟ ଓ ଫ୍ରୁଗିଆ ଅଞ୍ଚଳକୁ ଯିବା ସମୟରେ ଆପଲ୍ଲ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଯିହୁଦୀୟ ସେଠାରେ ଥିଲେ। ତାହାଙ୍କର ଜନ୍ମସ୍ଥାନ ଆଲେକ୍ ଜାଣ୍ଡ୍ରିୟା। ସେ ଏଫିସ ନଗରକୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ ସେ ଜଣେ ଅତି ଭଲ ବକ୍ତା ଥିଲେ। ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ବହୁତ ଭଲ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଥିଲା IMeanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, well versed in the Scriptures.

25ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପଥ ବିଷୟରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା ଓ ସେ ଉତ୍ସାହଜନକ ଆତ୍ମାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇ କଥା କହୁଥିଲେ। କେବଳ ଯୋହନଙ୍କର ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣିଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଉ ନ ଥିଲେ।He had been instructed in the way of the Lord and was fervent in spirit. He spoke and taught accurately about Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John.

26ଆପଲ୍ଲ ନିର୍ଭୟରେ ସମାଜଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି କହିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ। ପ୍ରୀସ୍କିଲ୍ଲା ଓ ଆକ୍ୱିଲା ତାହାଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ ପାଖକୁ ନେଇ ଆସିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପଥ ବିଷୟରେ ଆହୁରି ପରିଷ୍କାର ଭାବରେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବୁଝାଇ ଦେଲେ IAnd he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.

27ଆପଲ୍ଲ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଆଖାୟାକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେଇ ବାହାରିଲେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଏଫିସୀର ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ଭାଇମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଆପଲ୍ଲଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ୱାଗତ କରିବାପାଇଁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପତ୍ର ଲେଖିଲେ। ସେ ସେଠାରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବହୁତ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କଲେ IWhen Apollos resolved to cross over to Achaia, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. On his arrival, he was a great help to those who by grace had believed.

28ଆପଲ୍ଲ ଯିହୁଦୀନେତାମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସର୍ବସାଧାରଣରେ ଦୃଢ଼ଭାବେ ଯୂକ୍ତିତର୍କ କରିବା ବେଳେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନେ ଶୁଣୁଥିଲେ I ବାଇବଲରୁ ପଢ଼ି ପ୍ରମାଣ କରି ଦେଖାଇଦେଲେ ଯେ କେବଳ ଯୀଶୁ ହିଁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଅଟନ୍ତି IFor he powerfully refuted the Jews in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.
