6 UDB ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକଙ୍କର ସତ୍ୟ ପିତା, କେବଳ ଜଣେ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଅଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଶାସନ କରନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି ତାଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତିରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଘଟଣା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ସେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
7 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ଦାନର ପରିମାଣ ଅନୁସାରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଈଶ୍ୱର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକଙ୍କୁ ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଦାନଗୁଡିକ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହରେ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Now to each one of us grace has been given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

14 UDB ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆଉ ଶିଶୁ ପରି ନ ହୋଇ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତାରଣା ଓ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତି ଯୁକ୍ତ କଳ୍ପନା ଅନୁସାରେ ଧୁର୍ତ୍ତତା ଦ୍ୱାରା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଶିକ୍ଷା ରୂପ ବାୟୁରେ ଇତଃସ୍ତତଃ ଚାଳିତ ନୌକା ପରି ନ ହେଉ। ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରତାରକ ଏବଂ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଶିକ୍ଷକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଦୂରେଇ ରହିବା। BSB BSB: Then we will no longer be infants, tossed about by the waves and carried around by every wind of teaching and by the clever cunning of men in their deceitful scheming.

16 UDB ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଶରୀର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ସନ୍ଧିର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଅଂଶର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟସାଧକ ଶକ୍ତି ଅନୁସାରେ ସୁଖଚିତ ଓ ସୁସଂଯୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରେମରେ ଆପଣାର ନିଷ୍ଠା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ସାଧନା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ସାଧନ। କାରଣ ଶରୀର ପରସ୍ପର ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରେ। BSB BSB: From Him the whole body, fitted and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love through the work of each individual part.
17 UDB ଅତଏବ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ବିଶେଷ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରି କହୁଅଛି, ଅବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ ଯେପରି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମନର ଅସାରତାରେ ଆଚରଣ କରନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେହିପରି ଆଚରଣ କର ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.
18 UDB ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଠାରେ ଥିବା ମୁର୍ଖତା ହେତୁ କଣ ଭଲ ବା ମନ୍ଦର ବିଚାର କରିପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ସେମାନେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ହୃଦୟର ଜଡତା ହେତୁ ତାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ବାଦ ଶୁଣିବାରେ ଅବହେଳା କରନ୍ତି କାରଣ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବାଧ୍ୟତାକୁ ବୁଝି ନାହିଁ, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନ ପାଇ ନ ଥାନ୍ତି ଯାହା ଯୀଶୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦିଅନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: They are darkened in their understanding and alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts.
19 UDB ସେମାନେ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ଅଶୁଚି କର୍ମ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାକୁ କାମୁକତାରେ ବିନାଦ୍ୱିଧାରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ସେମାନେ ଜଡବତ୍ ହୋଇ ଧନଲୋଭରେ ଆସକ୍ତ ହେବା ସଙ୍ଗେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ଅଶୁଚି କର୍ମ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆଗଭର ହୁଅନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Having lost all sense of shame, they have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity, with a craving for more.
20 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ସେପ୍ରକାରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା କରି ନାହଁ। BSB BSB: But this is not the way you came to know Christ.
21 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ଶୁଣିଅଛ, ପୁଣି, ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ସତ୍ୟ ଅନୁସାରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସହଭାଗିତାରେ ଥାଇ ସତ୍ୟ ପଥରେ ଶିକ୍ଷିତ ହୋଇଅଛ। BSB BSB: Surely you heard of Him and were taught in Him—in keeping with the truth that is in Jesus—
22 UDB ଯୀଶୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୁରାତନ ଆଚରଣରେ ବଞ୍ଚ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୃତ ପରି ଥିଲ ଯେଉଁ ପୁରାତନ ସ୍ୱଭାବ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନାର ବିଳାସିତା ଅନୁସାରେ ଅଧିକରୁ ଅଧିକ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ହେଉଅଛ। BSB BSB: to put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
23 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମା ଓ ଚିନ୍ତାରେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହରେ ନୂତନୀକୃତ ହୁଅ। BSB BSB: to be renewed in the spirit of your minds;
24 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନୂତନ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ଜୀବନ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବା ଉଚିତ। ଯେଉଁ ନୂତନ ସ୍ୱଭାବ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିମୂର୍ତ୍ତିରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପୃଥକୀକୃତ ହୁଅ। ସଠିକ୍ ମାର୍ଗରେ ଜୀବନ କାଟିବାରେ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଠନ କଲେ, ଯେପରି ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗୀକୃତ ହୁଅ। BSB BSB: and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
25 UDB ଅତଏବ ପରସ୍ପର ପ୍ରତି ମିଥ୍ୟା ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜଣ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀ ସହିତ ସତ୍ୟ ଆଳାପ କର, କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପରସ୍ପରର ସହ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ଅଟୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପରିବାରଭୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇଛୁ। BSB BSB: Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one another.
26 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କ୍ରୋଧ କର କିନ୍ତୁ ପାପ କର ନାହିଁ। ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଅସ୍ତ ନ ହେଉଣୁ କ୍ରୋଧ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କର। BSB BSB: “Be angry, yet do not sin.” Do not let the sun set upon your anger,
27 UDB ପୁଣି, ଶୟତାନକୁ ସ୍ଥାନ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: and do not give the devil a foothold.
28 UDB ଚୋର ଆଉ ଚୋରି ନ କରୁ। ବରଂ ଅଭାବଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଲୋକକୁ ଦାନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେପରି ତାହା ପାଖରେ କିଛି ଥାଇ ପାରେ, ଏଥି ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜ ହାତରେ ଉତ୍ତମ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରି ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରୁ। BSB BSB: He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing good with his own hands, that he may have something to share with the one in need.
29 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ କୌଣସି କୁବାକ୍ୟ ନିର୍ଗତ ନ ହେଉ। ବରଂ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ଅନୁସାରେ ନିଷ୍ଠାଜନକ ବାକ୍ୟ ନିର୍ଗତ ହେଉ, ଯେପରି ତାହା ଶ୍ରୋତାମାନଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପକ୍ଷରେ ହିତଜନକ ହୁଏ। BSB BSB: Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up the one in need and bringing grace to those who listen.
30 UDB ଆଉ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଯେଉଁ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୁକ୍ତି ଦିବସ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଦ୍ରାଙ୍କିତ ହୋଇଅଛ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଦୁଃଖ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 UDB ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକାର କଟୁ ଭାବ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରକାଶ କର ନାହିଁ। କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତି କ୍ରୋଧ ପ୍ରକାଶ କର ନାହିଁ ବା, ଖୁବ୍ ଜୋରରେ କଳହ କର ନାହିଁ। ଅନ୍ୟର ନିନ୍ଦା କର ନାହିଁ। ପୁଣି, ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକାର ହିଂସା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଦୂର ହେଉ। BSB BSB: Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice.
32 UDB ଆଉ ପରସ୍ପର ପ୍ରତି ସଦୟ ହୁଅ। ଅନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତି କୋମଳ ହୃଦୟ ହୁଅ। ପୁଣି, ଈଶ୍ୱର ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେପରି କ୍ଷମା କଲେ, ସେହିପରି ପରସ୍ପରକୁ କ୍ଷମା କର। BSB BSB: Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.
