1 UDB ଦିନେ ଯୀଶୁ ଆପଣା ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଶସ୍ୟ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟଦେଇ ଚାଲି ଯାଉଥିଲେ, ସେଦିନ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ବାର ଥିଲା l ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଭୋକିଲା ଥିବାରୁ ଶସ୍ୟର ଶିଷାଁ ଛିଣ୍ଡାଇ ଖାଇବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ l ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଏଥିପାଇଁ କିଛି ବିଧି ଥିଲା l BSB BSB: At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat them.
2 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ କେତେକ ଫାରୁଶୀମାନେ ତାହା ଦେଖି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସି ଆପତ୍ତି କଲେ, ଦେଖ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାରରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ଯାହା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅନୁମତି ଦିଏ ନାହିଁ l BSB BSB: When the Pharisees saw this, they said to Him, “Look, Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath.”
4 UDB ଦାଉଦ ମନ୍ଦିର ଭିତରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ଯାହା କେବଳ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ ପବିତ୍ର ରୋଟୀ ଥାଏ, ତାହା ଆଣି ଖାଇଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ଏହା ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ନିୟମ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଥିଲା l BSB BSB: He entered the house of God, and he and his companions ate the consecrated bread, which was not lawful for them to eat, but only for the priests.
5 UDB ଆଉ ମନ୍ଦିରରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରୁଥିବା ଯାଜକମାନେ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାରରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିପାରନ୍ତି, ଏକଥା କ’ଣ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କେବେ ପାଠ କରିନାହଁ? BSB BSB: Or haven’t you read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple break the Sabbath and yet are innocent?
6 UDB ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ ମୁଁ କହୁଅଛି ଶୁଣ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଅଛି ଆଉ ମୁଁ ଏହି ମନ୍ଦିରଠାରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ବା ମହାନ ଅଟେ l BSB BSB: But I tell you that One greater than the temple is here.
7 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ଯେବେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟକୁ ବୁଝିଥାନ୍ତ ତେବେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବଳିଦାନ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଦୟାଳୁ ହୁଅ ବୋଲି ଯେ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରିଥାଏ ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷକୁ ଦୋଷୀ କରି ନ ଥାନ୍ତ l BSB BSB: If only you had known the meaning of ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.
8 UDB ମୁଁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ର, ବିଶ୍ରାମବାରରେ କ’ଣ କରିବାକୁ ହେବ ତାହା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଥାଏ l BSB BSB: For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”
9 UDB ତା’ପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଉପାସନାଳୟକୁ ଗଲେ l BSB BSB: Moving on from there, Jesus entered their synagogue,
10 UDB ସେ ସେଠାରେ ଜଣେ ଲୋକକୁ ଦେଖିଲେ ଯେ ତାହାର ଗୋଟିଏ ହାତ ଶୁଖି ଯାଇଅଛି, ଏଥିରେ ଫାରୁଶୀମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାରରେ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିବା ବିଧିସଙ୍ଗତ କି? ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଯେପରି ଦୋଷୀ କରିପାରିବେ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଏହା ପଚାରିଲେ l BSB BSB: and a man with a withered hand was there. In order to accuse Jesus, they asked Him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”
11 UDB ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯେବେ ଗୋଟିଏ ମେଣ୍ଢା ଥାଏ, ଓ ତାହା ବିଶ୍ରାମବାରରେ କୁଅରେ ପୋଡି ଯାଏ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ କ’ଣ ସେଦିନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବ ନାହିଁ l BSB BSB: He replied, “If one of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not take hold of it and lift it out?
12 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ଜଣେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଗୋଟିଏ ମେଣ୍ଢାଠାରୁ କେତେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠତର ଅଟେ l ତେବେ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାରରେ ଅନ୍ୟର ଉପକାର କରିବା ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିଧି ସଙ୍ଗତ ଅଟେ l BSB BSB: How much more valuable is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
13 UDB ତାପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ସେହି ଲୋକଟିକୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ହାତ ବଢାଅ ଆଉ ସେ ହାତ ବଢାଇବା କ୍ଷଣି ତାହାର ଶୁଷ୍କ ହସ୍ତଟି ଅନ୍ୟ ହସ୍ତ ପରି ସୁସ୍ଥ ହେଇଗଲା l BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out, and it was restored to full use, just like the other.
14 UDB ଏହାପରେ ଲୋକେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ବାନ୍ଧି କରି ହତ୍ୟା କରିବା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ଷଡଯନ୍ତ୍ର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଫାରୁଶୀମାନଙ୍କ ଏକ ସଭା ଡାକିଲେ l BSB BSB: But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.
15 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କଳ୍ପନା ବୁଝିପାରି ଆପଣାର ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘେନି ସେଠାରୁ ଚାଲି ଗଲେ ଆଉ ଅନେକ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗଲେ ପୁଣି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯେତେ ରୋଗୀ ଥିଲେ ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କଲେ l BSB BSB: Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. Large crowds followed Him, and He healed them all,
16 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କର୍ମର କଥା ସବୁ କାହାକୁ ନ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଚେତନ କରାଇଲେ l BSB BSB: warning them not to make Him known.
18 UDB ମୋହର ଦାସଙ୍କୁ, ମୋହର ମନୋନୀତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖ, ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆମେ ପ୍ରେମ କରୁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ଅଟୁ, ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଆତ୍ମା ଅଧିଷ୍ଠାନ କରିଅଛି ଏବଂ ସେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଜାତିମାନଙ୍କର ନ୍ୟାୟ ବିଚାର କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ଦେବେ l BSB BSB: “Here is My Servant, whom I have chosen, My beloved, in whom My soul delights. I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will proclaim justice to the nations.
19 UDB ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବିବାଦ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, କି ଚିତ୍କାର କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, କି ନଗର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ସ୍ଵରରେ କଥା କହିବେ ନାହିଁ, BSB BSB: He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear His voice in the streets.
20 UDB ସେ ଦୁର୍ବଳମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଭଦ୍ରତା ଓ କ୍ଷୀଣମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ ଏବଂ ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନ୍ୟାୟରେ ବିଚାର କରି ଦୋଷୀ ଓ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ କରିବେ l BSB BSB: A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not extinguish, till He leads justice to victory.
21 UDB ଆଉ ସମଗ୍ର ଜାତି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଭରଷା ରଖିବେ l BSB BSB: In His name the nations will put their hope.”
22 UDB ଦିନେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ଭୂତଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଯେ କି ମୂକ ଓ ଘୁଁଙ୍ଗା ଥିଲା ତାହାକୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆଣିଲେ ଆଉ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଠାରୁ ଭୂତାତ୍ମା ବାହାରକରି ତାହାକୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କଲେ ତହିଁରେ ସେହି ଲୋକଟି କଥା କହିଲା ଓ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଫେରି ପାଇଁ ସବୁ ଦେଖି ପାରିଲା l BSB BSB: Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to Jesus, and He healed the man so that he could speak and see.
23 UDB ଏହି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କର୍ମ ଦେଖି ଲୋକମାନେ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ ଏହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ବଂଶଜ ମସୀହ ଅଟନ୍ତି କି? ଯାହାଙ୍କର ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅଛୁ? BSB BSB: The crowds were astounded and asked, “Could this be the Son of David?”
24 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ଫାରୁଶୀମାନେ ଏହି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କର୍ମ କଥା ଶୁଣି କହିଲେ, ସେ ଭୂତମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜା ଶୟତାନର ଶକ୍ତିରେ ଭୂତ ଛଡାଇ ପାରୁଅଛି ମାତ୍ର ଏ ଈଶ୍ଵର ନୁହେଁ l BSB BSB: But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “Only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, does this man drive out demons.”
25 UDB ମାତ୍ର ଫାରୁଶୀମାନେ ମନରେ କ’ଣ ଭାବୁଅଛନ୍ତି ଏହା ଯୀଶୁ ସେହି କ୍ଷଣି ଜାଣି ପାରି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ଯଦି ଗୋଟେ ରାଜ୍ୟର ଲୋକେ ଅନ୍ୟ ରାଜ୍ୟର ସହିତ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟକୁ ବିନାଶ କରନ୍ତି l ଯଦି କୌଣସି ନଗର ବା ପରିବାର ବିଭକ୍ତ ହୋଇ ନିଜ ନିଜ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉଠନ୍ତି ତେବେ ତାହା ଆଉ ତିଷ୍ଠି ପାରେ ନାହିଁ l BSB BSB: Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.
26 UDB ସେହିପରି ଶୟତାନ ଯେବେ ଶୟତାନକୁ ଛଡାଏ, ଏବେ ସେ ଆପଣା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରୁଅଛି ଓ ଆପଣାର ରାଜ୍ୟକୁ ନିଜେ ବିନାଶ କରିଅଛି l BSB BSB: If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand?
27 UDB ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କହିବା ଅନୁସାରେ ମୁଁ ଯଦି ଶୟତାନର ଶକ୍ତିରେ ଭୂତ ଛଡାଉ ଅଛି, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ କାହା ଶକ୍ତିରେ ଭୂତ ଛଡାଉ ଅଛନ୍ତି? ତେବେ ସେମାନେ ହିଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଭିଯୋଗରେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ l BSB BSB: And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.
28 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଯେବେ ଈଶ୍ଵର ଦ୍ଵାରା ଭୂତ ଛଡାଉ ଥାଏ, ତେବେ ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଈଶ୍ଵରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଆସିଗଲାଣି l BSB BSB: But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
29 UDB ମୁଁ ଯେ କହିରେ ଭୂତାତ୍ମାମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କରୁଅଛି, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖାଇ ଅଛି l ଗୃହର ବଳିଷ୍ଠ ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବନ୍ଧା ଯାଇ ନାହିଁ ସେ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ କେହି ତାହା ଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଯେତେବେଳେ ତାହାକୁ ବନ୍ଧା ଯାଏ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଲୋକେ ଗୃହରେ ପଶି ଗୃହରେ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟକୁ ହରଣ କରିନେଇପାରିବେ l BSB BSB: Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and steal his possessions, unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house.
30 UDB ଯେ ମୋହର ସପକ୍ଷ ନୁହେ ସେ ମୋର ବିପକ୍ଷରେ ଅଛି ଆଉ ଯେ ମତେ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରେ ନାହିଁ ସେ ମୋହର ଅନିଷ୍ଟ କରୁଅଛି l BSB BSB: He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.
31 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କହୁଅଛ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ଵାରା ସେ ମନ୍ଦ ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ବାହାର କରୁନାହିଁ l ଆଉ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହା କହୁଅଛି, ଯଦି କେହି କାହାର ଅପମାନ କରେ, ତେବେ ଈଶ୍ଵର ତାହାକୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କୁ ଦୁଃଖ ଦିଏ ଈଶ୍ଵର ତାହାକୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ l BSB BSB: Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
32 UDB ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ନିନ୍ଦା କିମ୍ବା ଅନ୍ୟ ଯେକୌଣସି ପାପ କ୍ଷମା ଦିଆ ଯାଇ ପାରିବ| ସବୁ ପାପର କ୍ଷମା ଅଛି, ମାତ୍ର ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ନିନ୍ଦା ଜନିତ ପାପକୁ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଇହ ଜଗତରେ କି ପର ଜଗତରେ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ| BSB BSB: Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the one to come.
33 UDB ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏକ ଫଳନ୍ତି ଗଛର ଫଳକୁ ଦେଖ, ତାହା ଭଲ କି ମନ୍ଦ ଜାଣି ପାରି ଥାଅ| ଯଦି ଫଳ ଭଲ ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଗଛଟିକୁ ଭଲ କହିଥାଅ, ଆଉ ମୁଁ ଯଦି ଭଲ କର୍ମ କରୁଅଛି, ତେବେ ତାହା ଭଲ କି ମନ୍ଦ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣିଅଛ| BSB BSB: Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is known by its fruit.
34 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତ ବିଷଧର ସର୍ପର ସନ୍ତାନ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କେବେହେଲେ ଉତ୍ତମ କହି ଜାଣ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଅଟ| ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ହୃଦୟରେ ଯାହା ଥାଏ, ତାହା ସେ କରିବା ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଏ| BSB BSB: You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.
35 UDB ଉତ୍ତମ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ସର୍ବଦା ଉତ୍ତମ କଥା କହେ, କାରଣ ଉତ୍ତମ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଉତ୍ତମ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ତାହାର ଅନ୍ତରସ୍ଥ ଉତ୍ତମ ଭଣ୍ଡାରରୁ ଉତ୍ତମତା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରେ, ଆଉ ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକ ସର୍ବଦା ମନ୍ଦ କଥା କହିଥାଏ, କାରଣ ମନ୍ଦ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ତା’ହୃଦୟର ମନ୍ଦ ଭଣ୍ଡାରରୁ ମନ୍ଦତା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରେ| BSB BSB: The good man brings good things out of his good store of treasure, and the evil man brings evil things out of his evil store of treasure.
36 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଅସାର କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପାଇଁ ମହା ବିଚାର ଦିନରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ହିସାବ ଦେବାକୁ ପଡିବ| BSB BSB: But I tell you that men will give an account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.
37 UDB ଆଉ ଈଶ୍ଵର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଦ୍ଵାରା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମହାବିଚାର ଦିନରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବା ଅଧାର୍ମିକ ବୋଲି ଦୋଷୀ ସାବ୍ୟସ୍ତ କରିବେ| BSB BSB: For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
40 UDB ଯୂନସ ଯେପରି ତିନିଦିନ ଓ ତିନି ରାତି ଏକ ବୃହତ୍ ମାଛର ଉଦରରେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଦେଶ କ୍ରମେ ଥିଲେ, ସେହିପରି ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ମଧ୍ୟ ପୃଥିବୀ ଗର୍ଭରେ ତିନିଦିନ ଓ ତିନି ରାତି ରହିବେ ଓ ଈଶ୍ଵର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ତୃତୀୟ ଦିନରେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁରୁ ଉଠାଇବେ| BSB BSB: For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
41 UDB ମହାବିଚାର ଦିନରେ ନିନିବୀର ଲୋକେ ଏହି ଜାତି ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉଠି, ତାହାକୁ ଦୋଷୀ ସାବ୍ୟସ୍ତ କରିବେ, କାରଣ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଯୂନସ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରଚାର କଲେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ଅନୁତାପ କରିଥିଲେ| ଅଥଚ ଯୂନସଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମହାନ୍ ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଏଠାରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରୁ ନାହଁ| BSB BSB: The men of Nineveh will stand at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now One greater than Jonah is here.
42 UDB ମହା ବିଚାର ଦିନରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଶିବା ଦେଶର ରାଣୀ ଏହି ଜାତି ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉଠି ତାହାକୁ ଦୋଷୀ ସାବ୍ୟସ୍ତ କରିବେ| କାରଣ ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଦେଶର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରୁ ଆସି ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ବିଜ୍ଞ ଉପଦେଶ ଶୁଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଦୂର ଦେଶରୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ, ଅଥଚ଼ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମହାନ୍ ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଏଠାରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରୁ ନାହଁ! BSB BSB: The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and now One greater than Solomon is here.
43 UDB ଭୂତାତ୍ମା ଯେତେବେଳେ ଜଣେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟଠାରୁ ବାହାରି ଯାଏ, ସେତେବେଳେ ସେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ପାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଚାରି ଆଡେ ଘୁରି ବୁଲେ, ଆଉ ସେ ଯେତେବେଳେ କାହାରିକୁ ନ ପାଏ, BSB BSB: When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.
44 UDB ସେତେବେଳେ ସେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ନ ପାଇ କହେ, ମୁଁ ଯେଉଁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଠାରୁ ବାହାରି ଆସିଥିଲି, ତାହା ନିକଟକୁ ଫେରି ଯିବି| ଆଉ ସେ ଫେରି ଆସି ଯେତେବେଳେ ଦେଖେ ଯେ, ତାହାରିଠାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମା ନାହାନ୍ତି, BSB BSB: Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ On its return, it finds the house vacant, swept clean, and put in order.
45 UDB ସେତେବେଳେ ସେହି ଦୁଷ୍ଟାତ୍ମା ତାହାଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ଆଉ ସାତୋଟି ଭୂତାତ୍ମାମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଆଣି ସେହି ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ବାସ କରନ୍ତି| ଫଳରେ ସେହି ଲୋକର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦଶା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଶେଷ ଦଶା ଅଧିକ ମନ୍ଦ ହୁଏ| BSB BSB: Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and dwell there. And the final plight of that man is worse than the first. So will it be with this wicked generation.”
46 UDB ଯୀଶୁ ଏକ ଜନ ଗହଳି ଗୃହରେ ଥାଇ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଉଥିବା ସମୟରେ, ତାଙ୍କର ମାଁ ଓ ଭାଇମାନେ ଆସି ବାହାରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଥିଲେ, BSB BSB: While Jesus was still speaking to the crowds, His mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to Him.
47 UDB ଏଣୁ କେହି ଜଣେ ଆସି ତାଙ୍କୁ ଏହା ଜଣାଇ କହିଲେ, ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରିବାକୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ମାଁ ଓ ଭାଇମାନେ ବାହାରେ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି| BSB BSB: Someone told Him, “Look, Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to You.”
48 UDB ସେଥିରେ ଯୀଶୁ ସେହି ଲୋକକୁ କହିଲେ, ପ୍ରକୃତରେ କେଉଁମାନେ ମୋର ମାଁ ଓ ଭାଇମାନେ ଅଟନ୍ତି, ତାହା ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି| BSB BSB: But Jesus replied, “Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?”
49 UDB ଆଉ ସେ ଆପଣା ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଆଡକୁ ହାତ ଦେଖାଇ କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ, ଏମାନେ ହିଁ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ମୋର ମାଁ ଓ ଭାଇମାନେ| BSB BSB: Pointing to His disciples, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers.
50 UDB ଏଣୁ ଯେ କେହି ମୋହର ସ୍ଵର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପିତାଙ୍କର ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରେ, ସେ ହିଁ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ମୋର ଭାଇ, ଭଉଣୀ ଓ ମାଁ| BSB BSB: For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
