1. 1ULBଆଦମଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀର ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଏହି। ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କଲେ, ସେହି ଦିନ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସାଦୃଶ୍ୟରେ ସେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ;BSBBSB: This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in His own likeness.
2. 2ULBପୁରୁଷ ଓ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ କରି ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କଲେ; ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ସୃଷ୍ଟ ହେବା ଦିନ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରି ଆଦମ (ମନୁଷ୍ୟ) ନାମ ଦେଲେ।BSBBSB: Male and female He created them, and He blessed them. And in the day they were created, He called them “man.”
3. 3ULBଆଦମ ଶହେ ତିରିଶ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସରେ ଆପଣା ସାଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଓ ପ୍ରତିମୂର୍ତ୍ତିରେ ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ଜାତ କରି ତାହାର ନାମ ଶେଥ ଦେଲେ।BSBBSB: When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son in his own likeness, after his own image; and he named him Seth.

24. 24ULBହନୋକ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗମନାଗମନ କଲେ; ଆଉ ସେ ଅନ୍ତର୍ହିତ ହେଲେ; ଯେହେତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ।BSBBSB: Enoch walked with God, and then he was no more, because God had taken him away.
25. 25ULBମଥୂଶେଲହ ଶହେ ଶତାଅଶୀ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସରେ ଲେମକକୁ ଜାତ କଲା;BSBBSB: When Methuselah was 187 years old, he became the father of Lamech.
26. 26ULBଲେମକର ଜନ୍ମ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ମଥୂଶେଲହ ସାତଶହ ବୟାଅଶୀ ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚି ଆହୁରି ପୁତ୍ରକନ୍ୟାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜାତ କଲା;BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters.
27. 27ULBମଥୂଶେଲହର ବୟସ ସର୍ବସୁଦ୍ଧା ନଅଶହ ଊଣସ୍ତରି ବର୍ଷ ଥିଲା; ତହୁଁ ସେ ମଲା।BSBBSB: So Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died.
28. 28ULBଲେମକ ଶହେ ବୟାଅଶୀ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସରେ ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ଜାତ କରି ତାହାର ନାମ ନୋହ (ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା) ଦେଲେ,BSBBSB: When Lamech was 182 years old, he had a son.

31. 31ULBତାଙ୍କର ବୟସ ସର୍ବସୁଦ୍ଧା ସାତଶହ ସତସ୍ତରି ବର୍ଷ ଥିଲା; ତହୁଁ ସେ ମଲେ।BSBBSB: So Lamech lived a total of 777 years, and then he died.
32. 32ULBଆଉ ନୋହଙ୍କୁ ପାଞ୍ଚଶହ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ ହେଲା; ଆଉ ନୋହ, ଶେମ ଓ ହାମ ଓ ଯେଫତ୍‍କୁ ଜାତ କଲେ।BSBBSB: After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
