1 ULB ଏହିରୂପେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ବଢ଼ିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅନେକ କନ୍ୟା ଜାତ ହେଲେ; BSB BSB: Now when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born to them,
2 ULB ସେତେବେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟାଗଣକୁ ରୂପବତୀ ଦେଖି, ସେମାନେ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ପସନ୍ଦ କଲେ, ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ବିବାହ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। BSB BSB: the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took as wives whomever they chose.
3 ULB ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭର ଆତ୍ମା ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ସର୍ବଦା ଅଧିଷ୍ଠାନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ, ଯେହେତୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିପଥ ଗମନରେ ସେମାନେ ମାଂସ ମାତ୍ର; ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମୟ ଶହେ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷ ହେବ।” BSB BSB: So the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days shall be 120 years.”
4 ULB ସେହି ସମୟରେ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ମହା ବୀରଗଣ ଥିଲେ; ପୁଣି, ତହିଁ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟାଗଣର ସହବାସ କରନ୍ତେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଜାତ ହେଲେ; ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପୂର୍ବକାଳର ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ବୀର ଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and afterward as well—when the sons of God had relations with the daughters of men. And they bore them children who became the mighty men of old, men of renown.
6 ULB ଏନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବା ସକାଶୁ ଅନୁତାପ କରି ମନରେ ଶୋକ କଲେ। BSB BSB: And the LORD regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.
7 ULB ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳରୁ ଆପଣାର ସୃଷ୍ଟ ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ, ଆଉ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ସହିତ ପଶୁ ଓ ଉରୋଗାମୀ ଜନ୍ତୁ ଓ ଖେଚର ପକ୍ଷୀଗଣକୁ ଲୁପ୍ତ କରିବା; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅନୁତାପ ହେଉଅଛି।” BSB BSB: So the LORD said, “I will blot out man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—every man and beast and crawling creature and bird of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them.”
8 ULB ମାତ୍ର, ନୋହ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: Noah, however, found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
9 ULB ନୋହଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ ଏହି। ନୋହ ଆପଣା ସେହି ସମୟର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଓ ସାଧୁ ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ; ନୋହ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗମନାଗମନ କଲେ। BSB BSB: This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation; Noah walked with God.
10 ULB ନୋହ, ଶେମ ଓ ହାମ ଓ ଯେଫତ୍, ଏହି ତିନି ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ଜାତ କଲେ। BSB BSB: And Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11 ULB ସେହି ସମୟରେ ପୃଥିବୀ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ଥିଲା ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଥିଲା। BSB BSB: Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and full of violence.
12 ULB ପୁଣି, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିପାତ କରି ଦେଖିଲେ ଯେ, ତାହା ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛି; ଯେହେତୁ ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟାଚାରୀ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: And God looked upon the earth and saw that it was corrupt; for all living creatures on the earth had corrupted their ways.
13 ULB ତହୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ନୋହଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭ ଗୋଚରରେ ସମୁଦାୟ ପ୍ରାଣୀର ଅନ୍ତିମକାଳ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା; ଯେହେତୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପୃଥିବୀ ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଅଛି; ପୁଣି, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ପୃଥିବୀ ସହିତ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରିବା। BSB BSB: Then God said to Noah, “The end of all living creatures has come before Me, because through them the earth is full of violence. Now behold, I will destroy both them and the earth.
14 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦେବଦାରୁ ଜାତୀୟ ବୃକ୍ଷର କାଷ୍ଠରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଜାହାଜ ନିର୍ମାଣ କର; ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନାନା କୋଠରି ବନାଇ ତହିଁର ଭିତର ଓ ବାହାର ଝୁଣା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଲେପନ କର। BSB BSB: Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood; make rooms in the ark and coat it with pitch inside and out.
15 ULB ତାହା ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ; ଦୀର୍ଘରେ ତିନିଶହ ହାତ, ପ୍ରସ୍ଥରେ ପଚାଶ ହାତ, ଉଚ୍ଚରେ ତିରିଶ ହାତ ହେବ। BSB BSB: And this is how you are to build it: The ark is to be 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high.
16 ULB ଉପରରୁ ଏକ ହାତ ଛାଡ଼ି ଝରକା କରିବ, ଆଉ ତହିଁର ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ଦ୍ୱାର ରଖିବ; ଆଉ ତହିଁର ପ୍ରଥମ, ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଓ ତୃତୀୟ ତଳ ବନାଇବ। BSB BSB: You are to make a roof for the ark, finish its walls a cubit from the top, place a door in the side of the ark, and build lower, middle, and upper decks.
17 ULB ପୁଣି, ଆକାଶ ତଳେ ପ୍ରାଣବାୟୁ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଯେତେ ଜୀବଜନ୍ତୁ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସବୁ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ପୃଥିବୀ ଉପରେ ଜଳପ୍ଳାବନ କରିବା, ତହିଁରେ ପୃଥିବୀର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ପ୍ରାଣତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: And behold, I will bring floodwaters upon the earth to destroy every creature under the heavens that has the breath of life. Everything on the earth will perish.
18 ULB ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଆପଣା ନିୟମ ସ୍ଥିର କରିବା; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ଓ ପୁତ୍ରବଧୂମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଘେନି ଜାହାଜରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ। BSB BSB: But I will establish My covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.
19 ULB ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରାଣରକ୍ଷାର୍ଥେ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ଜୀବଜନ୍ତୁର ଏକ ଏକ ଦମ୍ପତି ଆପଣା ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଘେନି ଜାହାଜରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ। BSB BSB: And you are to bring two of every living creature into the ark—male and female—to keep them alive with you.
20 ULB ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ପକ୍ଷୀ ଓ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ପଶୁ ଓ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ଉରୋଗାମୀ ଜନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜାତି ଅନୁସାରେ ଏକ ଏକ ଦମ୍ପତି ଜୀବନରକ୍ଷାର୍ଥେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବେ। BSB BSB: Two of every kind of bird and animal and crawling creature will come to you to be kept alive.
21 ULB ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାର ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଆହାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ଖାଦ୍ୟସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଆଣି ଆପଣା ନିକଟରେ ସଞ୍ଚୟ କରିବ।” BSB BSB: You are also to take for yourself every kind of food that is eaten and gather it as food for yourselves and for the animals.”
22 ULB ତହିଁରେ ନୋହ ସେରୂପ କଲେ; ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ସେ ସମସ୍ତ କର୍ମ କଲେ। BSB BSB: So Noah did everything precisely as God had commanded him.
