1 ULB ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନୋହଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସପରିବାରରେ ଜାହାଜରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କର; କାରଣ ଏହି କାଳର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଦେଖିଅଛୁ। BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and all your family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.
2 ULB ଆଉ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ବଂଶ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଶୁଚି ପଶୁଜାତିର ସାତ ସାତ ଦମ୍ପତି ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଅଶୁଚି ପଶୁଜାତିର ଏକ ଏକ ଦମ୍ପତି; BSB BSB: You are to take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate; a pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate;
3 ULB ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଖେଚର ପକ୍ଷୀଜାତିର ସାତ ସାତ ଦମ୍ପତି ଆପଣା ସଙ୍ଗରେ ନିଅ। BSB BSB: and seven pairs of every kind of bird of the air, male and female, to preserve their offspring on the face of all the earth.
4 ULB ଯେହେତୁ ସାତ ଦିନ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଚାଳିଶ ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ପୃଥିବୀରେ ବୃଷ୍ଟି କରାଇ ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥିତ ଆମ୍ଭର ନିର୍ମିତ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀକୁ ଲୁପ୍ତ କରିବା।” BSB BSB: For seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living thing I have made.”
5 ULB ନୋହ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ସବୁ କର୍ମ କଲେ। BSB BSB: And Noah did all that the LORD had commanded him.
6 ULB ନୋହଙ୍କର ଛଅଶହ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସରେ ପୃଥିବୀ ଉପରେ ଜଳପ୍ଳାବନ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: Now Noah was 600 years old when the floodwaters came upon the earth.
7 ULB ତହୁଁ ଜଳପ୍ଳାବନରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ନୋହ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ଆଉ ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ଓ ପୁତ୍ରବଧୂଗଣ ଜାହାଜରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ। BSB BSB: And Noah and his wife, with his sons and their wives, entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood.
8 ULB ପୁଣି, ନୋହଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ଶୁଚି ଓ ଅଶୁଚି ପଶୁପକ୍ଷୀବର୍ଗ ଓ ଭୂଚର ଉରୋଗାମୀ ଜନ୍ତୁବର୍ଗ ଯୋଡ଼ା ଯୋଡ଼ା ହୋଇ BSB BSB: The clean and unclean animals, the birds, and everything that crawls along the ground
9 ULB ନୋହଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଇ ଜାହାଜରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ। BSB BSB: came to Noah to enter the ark, two by two, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.
10 ULB ଆଉ ସେହି ସାତ ଦିନ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଜଳପ୍ଳାବନର ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: And after seven days the floodwaters came upon the earth.
11 ULB ନୋହଙ୍କର ବୟସର ଛଅଶହ ବର୍ଷ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ମାସର ସପ୍ତଦଶ ଦିନରେ ମହା ସମୁଦ୍ରର ସମସ୍ତ ଜଳାକର ଭାଙ୍ଗିଗଲା, ପୁଣି, ଆକାଶସ୍ଥ ଦ୍ୱାର ସବୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month, all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.
12 ULB ତହିଁରେ ଚାଳିଶ ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ପୃଥିବୀରେ ବୃଷ୍ଟି ହେଲା। BSB BSB: And the rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights.
13 ULB ସେହି ଦିନରେ ନୋହ, ପୁଣି, ଶେମ ଓ ହାମ ଓ ଯେଫତ୍ ନାମକ ନୋହଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ, ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ନୋହଙ୍କର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ଓ ତିନି ପୁତ୍ରବଧୂ ଜାହାଜରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ। BSB BSB: On that very day Noah entered the ark, along with his sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and his wife, and the three wives of his sons—
14 ULB ପୁଣି, ସବୁ ଜାତୀୟ ଗ୍ରାମ୍ୟ ଓ ବନ୍ୟପଶୁ ଓ ସବୁ ଜାତୀୟ ଉରୋଗାମୀ ଓ ସବୁ ଜାତୀୟ ଭୂଚର ଓ ଖେଚର ପକ୍ଷୀ; BSB BSB: they and every kind of wild animal, livestock, crawling creature, bird, and winged creature.
15 ULB ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ପ୍ରାଣବାୟୁ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ଜୀବଜନ୍ତୁ ଯୋଡ଼ା ଯୋଡ଼ା ହୋଇ ନୋହଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଇ ଜାହାଜରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ। BSB BSB: They came to Noah to enter the ark, two by two of every creature with the breath of life.
16 ULB ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର ପ୍ରାଣୀ ଦମ୍ପତିକ୍ରମେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ; ତହୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାର ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱଦ୍ୱାର ବନ୍ଦ କଲେ। BSB BSB: And they entered, the male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. Then the LORD shut him in.
17 ULB ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଚାଳିଶ ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଜଳପ୍ଳାବନ ହେଲା; ପୁଣି, ଜଳ ବଢ଼ୁ ବଢ଼ୁ ଜାହାଜ ଭୂମିକୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଭାସି ଉଠିଲା। BSB BSB: For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and the waters rose and lifted the ark high above the earth.
18 ULB ଆଉ ପୃଥିବୀରେ କ୍ରମଶଃ ଜଳ ପ୍ରବଳ ହୋଇ ଅତିଶୟ ବଢ଼ୁ ବଢ଼ୁ ଜାହାଜ ଜଳ ଉପରେ ଭାସିଲା। BSB BSB: So the waters continued to surge and rise greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the waters.
19 ULB ପୃଥିବୀ ଉପରେ ଜଳ ଅତିଶୟ ବଢ଼ି ଆକାଶ ତଳସ୍ଥ ସବୁ ଉଚ୍ଚ ପର୍ବତ ମଗ୍ନ କଲା। BSB BSB: Finally, the waters completely prevailed upon the earth, so that all the high mountains under all the heavens were covered.
20 ULB ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ପନ୍ଦର କିଉବିଟ୍ସ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଜଳ ଉଠିଲା; ତହୁଁ ପର୍ବତମାନ ମଗ୍ନ ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: The waters rose and covered the mountaintops to a depth of fifteen cubits.
21 ULB ତେଣୁ ସମଗ୍ର ଭୂଚର ପ୍ରାଣୀ ପ୍ରାଣତ୍ୟାଗ କଲେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ପକ୍ଷୀ, ଗ୍ରାମ୍ୟ ଓ ବନ୍ୟପଶୁ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଗମନଶୀଳ ଉରୋଗାମୀ ଜନ୍ତୁ ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ, BSB BSB: And every living thing that moved upon the earth perished—birds, livestock, animals, every creature that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind.
22 ULB ଆଉ ଶୁଷ୍କଭୂମିସ୍ଥ ଯେତେ ପ୍ରାଣୀର ନାସିକାରେ ପ୍ରାଣବାୟୁ ଥିଲା, ସମସ୍ତେ ମଲେ। BSB BSB: Of all that was on dry land, everything that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.
23 ULB ଏହିରୂପେ ପୃଥିବୀର ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ସମୁଦାୟ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ଲୁପ୍ତ ହେଲେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ, ପଶୁ, ଉରୋଗାମୀ ଜନ୍ତୁ, ଖେଚର ପକ୍ଷୀ, ସମସ୍ତେ ପୃଥିବୀରୁ ଲୁପ୍ତ ହେଲେ; କେବଳ ନୋହ ଓ ଜାହାଜସ୍ଥ ତାଙ୍କର ସଙ୍ଗୀ ସମସ୍ତେ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ। BSB BSB: And every living thing on the face of the earth was destroyed—man and livestock, crawling creatures and birds of the air; they were blotted out from the earth, and only Noah and those with him in the ark remained.
24 ULB ଏହିରୂପେ ପୃଥିବୀ ଏକଶହ ପଚାଶ ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଜଳରେ ବୁଡ଼ି ରହିଲା। BSB BSB: And the waters prevailed upon the earth for 150 days.
