1 ULB ଦେଖ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାଠାରୁ ଯଷ୍ଟି ଓ ଯଷ୍ଟିକା, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଅନ୍ନ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ସମସ୍ତ ଯଷ୍ଟି ଓ ଜଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ସମସ୍ତ ଯଷ୍ଟିକା ଦୂର କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି; BSB BSB: For behold, the Lord GOD of Hosts is about to remove from Jerusalem and Judah both supply and support: the whole supply of food and water,
2 ULB ବୀର, ଯୋଦ୍ଧା; ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତା, ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା, ମନ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞ, ପ୍ରାଚୀନ; BSB BSB: the mighty man and the warrior, the judge and the prophet, the soothsayer and the elder,
3 ULB ପଚାଶପତି, ସମ୍ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ, ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ନିପୁଣ ଶିଳ୍ପକର ଓ ନିପୁଣ ଶୁଭାଶୁଭବାଦୀ (ଦୂରୀକୃତ ହେବେ)। BSB BSB: the commander of fifty and the dignitary, the counselor, the cunning magician, and the clever enchanter.
4 ULB “ଆମ୍ଭେ ବାଳକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧିପତି କରିବା ଓ ଶିଶୁମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଶାସନ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: “I will make mere lads their leaders, and children will rule over them.”
5 ULB ଆଉ, ଲୋକମାନେ ଏକ ଜଣ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉପଦ୍ରୁତ ହେବେ; ବାଳକ ପ୍ରାଚୀନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଓ ଅଧମ ଲୋକ ସମ୍ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଲୋକ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଗର୍ବାଚରଣ କରିବ। BSB BSB: The people will oppress one another, man against man, neighbor against neighbor; the young will rise up against the old, and the base against the honorable.
6 ULB କେହି କେହି ଆପଣା ଭ୍ରାତାକୁ ତାହାର ପିତୃଗୃହରେ ଧରି କହିବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ହୁଅ, ପୁଣି, ଏହି ନିପତିତ (ରାଜ୍ୟ) ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତାଧୀନ ହେଉ; BSB BSB: A man will seize his brother within his father’s house: “You have a cloak—you be our leader! Take charge of this heap of rubble.”
7 ULB ସେ ସେହି ଦିନ ଆପଣା ରବ ଉଠାଇ କହିବ ମୁଁ ଚିକିତ୍ସକ ହେବି ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ମୋ’ ଗୃହରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ କିମ୍ବା ବସ୍ତ୍ର ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋତେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା କର ନାହିଁ।” BSB BSB: On that day he will cry aloud: “I am not a healer. I have no food or clothing in my house. Do not make me leader of the people!”
8 ULB ଯେହେତୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ଓ ଯିହୁଦା ପତିତ ହୋଇଅଛି; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତାପବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଚକ୍ଷୁକୁ କ୍ରୋଧାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଜିହ୍ୱା ଓ କ୍ରିୟା ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ଅଟେ। BSB BSB: For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen because they spoke and acted against the LORD, defying His glorious presence.
9 ULB ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖର ଆକାର ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦିଏ; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ସଦୋମର ନ୍ୟାୟ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପାପ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ଗୋପନ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣର ସନ୍ତାପ ହେବ! କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ଅନିଷ୍ଟ ଆପେ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: The expression on their faces testifies against them, and like Sodom they flaunt their sin; they do not conceal it. Woe to them, for they have brought disaster upon themselves.
10 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଧାର୍ମିକର ବିଷୟରେ କୁହ ଯେ, ତାହାର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେବ, ଯେହେତୁ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା କର୍ମର ଫଳ ଭୁଞ୍ଜିବେ। BSB BSB: Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their labor.
11 ULB ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକର ସନ୍ତାପ ହେବ! ତାହାର ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଘଟିବ; କାରଣ ତାହାର ହସ୍ତକୃତ କର୍ମର ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ତାହାକୁ ଦିଆଯିବ। BSB BSB: Woe to the wicked; disaster is upon them! For they will be repaid with what their hands have done.
12 ULB ମୋ’ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ଦେଖିଲେ, ବାଳକମାନେ ମୋ’ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଉପଦ୍ରବକାରୀ ଓ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଶାସନ କରନ୍ତି। ହେ ମୋହର ଲୋକମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଥଦର୍ଶକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୁଲାନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗମନର ପଥ ନଷ୍ଟ କରନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Youths oppress My people, and women rule over them. O My people, your guides mislead you; they turn you from your paths.
13 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରତିବାଦ କରିବାକୁ ଠିଆ ହେଉଅଛନ୍ତି, ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରିବାକୁ ଠିଆ ହେଉଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: The LORD arises to contend; He stands to judge the people.
14 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗର ଓ ଅଧିପତିଗଣର ସହିତ ବିଚାରରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବେ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ହିଁ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଗ୍ରାସ କରିଅଛ; ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଲୁଟିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ଅଛି; BSB BSB: The LORD brings this charge against the elders and leaders of His people: “You have devoured the vineyard; the plunder of the poor is in your houses.
15 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଳି ପକାଉଅଛ ଓ ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖ ଘଷି ପକାଉଅଛ, ଏଥିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅଭିପ୍ରାୟ କ’ଣ? ପ୍ରଭୁ, ବାହିନୀଗଣର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Why do you crush My people and grind the faces of the poor?” declares the Lord GOD of Hosts.
16 ULB ଆହୁରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, ସିୟୋନର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ଅହଙ୍କାରିଣୀ ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଗ୍ରୀବା ଲମ୍ବାଇ ଓ କଟାକ୍ଷ କରି ଗମନ କରନ୍ତି, ଗମନ କରୁ କରୁ ଚଞ୍ଚଳ ପାଦସଞ୍ଚାର ଓ ଚରଣରେ ରୁଣୁଝୁଣୁ ଶବ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି; BSB BSB: The LORD also says: “Because the daughters of Zion are haughty—walking with heads held high and wanton eyes, prancing and skipping as they go, jingling the bracelets on their ankles—
17 ULB ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସିୟୋନର କନ୍ୟାଗଣର ମସ୍ତକ କାଛୁମୟ କରିବେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗୁପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନ ଅନାବୃତ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: the Lord will bring sores on the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will make their foreheads bare.”
18 ULB ସେହି ଦିନ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗର୍ବ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ନୂପୁର, ଜାଲିବସ୍ତ୍ର, ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରହାର; BSB BSB: In that day the Lord will take away their finery: their anklets and headbands and crescents;
19 ULB କର୍ଣ୍ଣଭୂଷଣ, ଚୁଡ଼ି, ଘୁମୁଟା; BSB BSB: their pendants, bracelets, and veils;
20 ULB ଶିରୋଭୂଷଣ, ପାଦର ବଳା, କଟିବନ୍ଧନୀ, ଅତରଧାନୀ, କବଚ; BSB BSB: their headdresses, ankle chains, and sashes; their perfume bottles and charms;
21 ULB ମୁଦି, ନଥ; BSB BSB: their signet rings and nose rings;
22 ULB ଉତ୍ସବକାଳୀନ ବସ୍ତ୍ର, ଆବରଣୀୟ ବସ୍ତ୍ର, ସାଲ, ଗାଞ୍ଜିଆ; BSB BSB: their festive robes, capes, cloaks, and purses;
23 ULB ଦର୍ପଣ, ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ବସ୍ତ୍ର, ଶିରୋବନ୍ଧନୀ ଓ ଓଢ଼ଣି କାଢ଼ି ପକାଇବେ। BSB BSB: and their mirrors, linen garments, tiaras, and shawls.
24 ULB ତହିଁରେ ସୁଗନ୍ଧିଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ବଦଳରେ ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ପୂଜ, କଟିବନ୍ଧନୀର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତେ ରଜ୍ଜୁ, ସୁନ୍ଦର କେଶବିନ୍ୟାସ ବଦଳରେ କେଶଶୂନ୍ୟତା ଓ ଆବରଣ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତେ ଚଟର ପଟୁକା; ସୌନ୍ଦର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବଦଳରେ ପୋଡ଼ାଦାଗ ହେବ। BSB BSB: Instead of fragrance there will be a stench; instead of a belt, a rope; instead of styled hair, baldness; instead of fine clothing, sackcloth; instead of beauty, shame.
25 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୁରୁଷମାନେ ଖଡ୍ଗାଘାତରେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିକ୍ରମୀଗଣ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପତିତ ହେବେ। BSB BSB: Your men will fall by the sword, and your warriors in battle.
26 ULB ସିୟୋନର ନଗରଦ୍ୱାରସକଳ ଶୋକ, ବିଳାପ କରିବେ ଓ ସେ ଅକିଞ୍ଚନା ହୋଇ ଭୂମିରେ ବସିବ। BSB BSB: And the gates of Zion will lament and mourn; destitute, she will sit on the ground.
