1 ULB ଏହିରୂପେ ଆୟୁବ ନିଜ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ହେବାରୁ ଏହି ତିନି ଜଣ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବାରୁ କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: So these three men stopped answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
2 ULB ତହିଁରେ ରାମ୍ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଜାତ ବୂଷୀୟ ବାରଖେଲର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀହୂର କ୍ରୋଧ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେଲା; ଆୟୁବ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ତାହାର କ୍ରୋଧ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେଲା, କାରଣ ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଆପଣାକୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ମଣିଲା। BSB BSB: This kindled the anger of Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram. He burned with anger against Job for justifying himself rather than God,
3 ULB ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହାର ତିନି ବନ୍ଧୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ତାହାର କ୍ରୋଧ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେଲା, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ କୌଣସି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ ନ ପାରିଲେ ହେଁ ଆୟୁବକୁ ଦୋଷୀ କରିଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: and he burned with anger against Job’s three friends because they had failed to refute Job, and yet had condemned him.
4 ULB ସେମାନେ ଇଲୀହୂଠାରୁ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ଥିବାରୁ ଇଲୀହୂ ଆୟୁବକୁ କଥା କହିବା ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିଥିଲା। BSB BSB: Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job because the others were older than he.
5 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେ ସେହି ତିନି ଜଣଙ୍କ ମୁଖରେ କୌଣସି ଉତ୍ତର ନ ଥିବାର ଦେଖି ତାହାର କ୍ରୋଧ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: But when he saw that the three men had no further reply, his anger was kindled.
6 ULB ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ବୂଷୀୟ ବାରଖେଲର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀହୂ ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲା, ମୁଁ ଯୁବା ଲୋକ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅତି ବୃଦ୍ଧ; ଏଣୁ ମୁଁ କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ ହେଲି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆପଣା ମତ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାକୁ ସାହସ କଲି ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: So Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite declared: “I am young in years, while you are old; that is why I was timid and afraid to tell you what I know.
7 ULB ମୁଁ କହିଲି, ଦିନସମୂହ କଥା କହିବେ ଓ ବର୍ଷର ବାହୁଲ୍ୟ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଶିଖାଇବେ। BSB BSB: I thought that age should speak, and many years should teach wisdom.
8 ULB ମାତ୍ର ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଆତ୍ମା ଅଛି ଓ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ଵରଙ୍କ ନିଶ୍ୱାସ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୁଦ୍ଧି ଦିଏ। BSB BSB: But there is a spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding.
9 ULB ବଡ଼ ଲୋକେ ଯେ ଜ୍ଞାନବାନ, ତାହା ନୁହେଁ, ଅବା ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନେ ଯେ ବିଚାର ବୁଝନ୍ତି, ତାହା ନୁହେଁ। BSB BSB: It is not only the old who are wise, or the elderly who understand justice.
10 ULB ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ କହିଲି, ‘ମୋ’ କଥା ଶୁଣ; ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆପଣା ମତ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବି।’ BSB BSB: Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me; I too will declare what I know.’
11 ULB ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କଥା ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କଲି, କଅଣ କହିବାକୁ ହେବ, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଯୁକ୍ତି ପାଇଁ ମନୋଯୋଗ କଲି। BSB BSB: Indeed, I waited while you spoke; I listened to your reasoning; as you searched for words,
12 ULB ଆହୁରି, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କଥାରେ ମନ ଦେଲି, ପୁଣି ଦେଖ, ଆୟୁବକୁ ବୋଧ ଦେବାକୁ, ଅବା ତାହାର କଥାର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କେହି ନ ଥିଲା। BSB BSB: I paid you full attention. But no one proved Job wrong; not one of you rebutted his arguments.
13 ULB ସାବଧାନ, କେଜାଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କହିବ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ପାଇଅଛୁ; ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାହାକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରି ପାରିବେ, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ; BSB BSB: So do not claim, ‘We have found wisdom; let God, not man, refute him.’
14 ULB କାରଣ ସେ ମୋ’ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କଥା କହି ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କଥାରେ ତାହାକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବି ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: But Job has not directed his words against me, and I will not answer him with your arguments.
15 ULB ସେମାନେ ବିସ୍ମିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଆଉ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର କୌଣସି କଥା କହିବାକୁ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Job’s friends are dismayed, with no more to say; words have escaped them.
16 ULB ସେମାନେ କଥା କହନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ସେମାନେ ତୁନି ହୋଇ ଠିଆ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି କି ମୁଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବି? BSB BSB: Must I wait, now that they are silent, now that they stand and no longer reply?
17 ULB ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆପଣାର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବି, ମୁଁ ଆପଣାର ମତ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବି। BSB BSB: I too will answer; yes, I will declare what I know.
18 ULB କାରଣ ମୁଁ ବାକ୍ୟରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। ମୋହର ଅନ୍ତରସ୍ଥ ଆତ୍ମା ମୋତେ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଏ। BSB BSB: For I am full of words, and my spirit within me compels me.
19 ULB ଦେଖ, ମୋ’ ଉଦର ବନ୍ଦ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ତୁଲ୍ୟ; ନୂତନ କୁମ୍ପା ପରି ତାହା ଫାଟିବାକୁ ଉଦ୍ୟତ। BSB BSB: Behold, my belly is like unvented wine; it is about to burst like a new wineskin.
20 ULB ମୁଁ ଉଶ୍ୱାସ ପାଇବା ପାଇଁ କଥା କହିବି; ମୁଁ ଓଷ୍ଠାଧର ଫିଟାଇ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବି। BSB BSB: I must speak and find relief; I must open my lips and respond.
21 ULB ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ମୋତେ କୌଣସି ଲୋକର ମୁଖାପେକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ; କିଅବା ମୁଁ କୌଣସି ଲୋକର ଚାଟୁବାଦ କରିବି ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: I will be partial to no one, nor will I flatter any man.
22 ULB କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଚାଟୁବାଦ କରି ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ; କଲେ ମୋହର ସୃଷ୍ଟିକର୍ତ୍ତା ଶୀଘ୍ର ମୋତେ ସଂହାର କରିବେ। BSB BSB: For I do not know how to flatter, or my Maker would remove me in an instant.
