1 ULB ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବ ନାମକ ଖମୀରଶୂନ୍ୟ ରୁଟିର ପର୍ବ ନିକଟ ହୋଇ ଆସୁଥିଲା। BSB BSB: Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching,
2 ULB ଆଉ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ, କିପରି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରି ପାରନ୍ତି, ସେଥିର ଉପାୟ ଖୋଜୁଥିଲେ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରୁଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: and the chief priests and scribes were looking for a way to put Jesus to death, for they feared the people.
3 ULB ସେତେବେଳେ ବାରଜଣଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିବା ଈଷ୍କାରିୟୋଥ ନାମକ ଯିହୂଦା ଠାରେ ଶୟତାନ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲା; BSB BSB: Then Satan entered Judas Iscariot, who was one of the Twelve.
4 ULB ଆଉ ଯିହୂଦା ଯାଇ, କି ଉପାୟରେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକ ଓ ସେନାପତିମାନଙ୍କ ହାତରେ ଧରାଇଦେବ, ତାହା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କଲା। BSB BSB: And Judas went to discuss with the chief priests and temple officers how he might betray Jesus to them.
5 ULB ସେଥିରେ ସେମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେଲେ ଓ ତାହାକୁ ଟଙ୍କା ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଚୁକ୍ତି କଲେ। BSB BSB: They were delighted and agreed to give him money.
6 ULB ଆଉ ଯିହୂଦା ଏକମତ ହୋଇ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଅନୁପସ୍ଥିତିରେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହାତରେ ଧରାଇ ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସୁଯୋଗ ଖୋଜିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା। BSB BSB: Judas consented, and began to look for an opportunity to betray Jesus to them in the absence of a crowd.
7 ULB ପରେ ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ମେଷଶାବକ ବଳିଦାନ କରିବାକୁ ହୁଏ, ଖମୀରଶୂନ୍ୟ ରୁଟି ପର୍ବର ସେହି ଦିନ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା; BSB BSB: Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb was to be sacrificed.
8 ULB ଆଉ ସେ ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନଙ୍କୁ ଏହା କହି ପଠାଇଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଭୋଜନ କରି ପାରିବୁ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯାଇ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ଭୋଜ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କର। BSB BSB: Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”
9 ULB ସେଥିରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବୁ ବୋଲି ଆପଣ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି? BSB BSB: “Where do You want us to prepare it?” they asked.
10 ULB ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନଗରରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରନ୍ତେ ପାଣି ମାଠିଆ ଘେନି ଯାଉଥିବା ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିବ; ସେ ଯେଉଁ ଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ, ତାହାର ପଛେ ପଛେ ଯାଇ ଗୃହର କର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିବ, BSB BSB: He answered, “When you enter the city, a man carrying a jug of water will meet you. Follow him to the house he enters,
11 ULB 'ଗୁରୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ମୋହର ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ଭୋଜ ପାଳନ କରିବି, ସେହି ଅତିଥିଶାଳା କାହିଁ"? BSB BSB: and say to the owner of that house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?’
12 ULB ସେଥିରେ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁସଜ୍ଜିତ ଗୋଟିଏ ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ବୃହତ କୋଠୋରୀ ଦେଖାଇଦେବେ; ସେ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କର। BSB BSB: And he will show you a large upper room, already furnished. Make preparations there.”
13 ULB ଆଉ, ସେହି ଦୁଇ ଜଣ ଶିଷ୍ୟ ଯାଇ, ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେପରି କହିଥିଲେ, ସେହିପରି ଦେଖି ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ଭୋଜ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ। BSB BSB: So they went and found it just as Jesus had told them. And they prepared the Passover.
14 ULB ପୁଣି, ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ସମୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ଯୀଶୁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ପ୍ରେରିତମାନେ ଭୋଜନ କରିବାକୁ ବସିଲେ। BSB BSB: When the hour had come, Jesus reclined at the table with His apostles.
16 ULB କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଏହା ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନ ହେବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ମୁଁ ଆଉ କେବେ ହେଁ ତାହା ଭୋଜନ କରିବି ନାହିଁ।" BSB BSB: For I tell you that I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”
17 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେ ପାନପାତ୍ର ଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଦେଇ କହିଲେ, ଏହା ନେଇ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଭାଗ କର, BSB BSB: After taking the cup, He gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves.
18 ULB କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟ ନ ଆସିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ମୁଁ ଆଜିଠାରୁ ଅଙ୍ଗୁର ଫଳର ରସ ଆଉ ପାନ କରିବି ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: For I tell you that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.”
19 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେ ରୁଟି ଘେନି ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଦେଲେ ଓ ତାହା ଭାଙ୍ଗି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦତ୍ତ ହେଉଥିବା ମୋହର ଶରୀର ଏହି; ମୋତେ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହା କର। BSB BSB: And He took the bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
20 ULB ଭୋଜନ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେହିପରି ସେ ପାନପାତ୍ର ଘେନି କହିଲେ,ଏହି ପାନପାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପାତିତ ହେଉଥିବା ମୋହର ରକ୍ତରେ ସ୍ଥାପିତ ନୂତନ ନିୟମ। BSB BSB: In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.
21 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଦେଖ, ଯେ ମୋତେ ଶତ୍ରୁ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରୁଅଛି, ତାହାର ହସ୍ତ ମୋ' ସହିତ ମେଜ ଉପରେ ଅଛି। BSB BSB: Look! The hand of My betrayer is with Mine on the table.
22 ULB କାରଣ ଯେପରି ନିରୂପିତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ସେହିପରି ପ୍ରୟାଣ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି ସତ୍ୟ, ତଥାପି ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେ ଶତ୍ରୁ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପିତ ହେଉଅଛନ୍ତି, ହାୟ, ସେ ଦଣ୍ଡର ପାତ୍ର! BSB BSB: Indeed, the Son of Man will go as it has been determined, but woe to that man who betrays Him.”
23 ULB ତେଣୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କିଏ ଏହା କରିବାକୁ ଯାଉଅଛି, ସେ ବିଷୟରେ ସେମାନେ ପରସ୍ପର ବାଦାନୁବାଦ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। BSB BSB: Then they began to question among themselves which of them was going to do this.
24 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିଏ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ବୋଲି ଗଣିତ, ସେ ବିଷୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବିବାଦ ଘଟିଲା। BSB BSB: A dispute also arose among the disciples as to which of them should be considered the greatest.
25 ULB ସେଥିରେ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଅଣଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ରାଜାମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରଭୁତ୍ୱ କରନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କର୍ତ୍ତୃତ୍ବ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଲୋକସେବକ ବୋଲି ଖ୍ୟାତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: So Jesus declared, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority over them call themselves benefactors.
26 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେପ୍ରକାର ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯେ ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠ, ସେ କନିଷ୍ଠ ପରି ହେଉ, ପୁଣି, ଯେ ନେତା, ସେ ସେବକ ପରି ହେଉ। BSB BSB: But you shall not be like them. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who leads like the one who serves.
27 ULB କାରଣ କିଏ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ? ଯେ ଭୋଜନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମେଜରେ ବସିଅଛି, ନା ଯେ ସେବକ? ଭୋଜନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମେଜରେ ବସିଅଛି, ସେ କି ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି? କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଜଣେ ସେବକ ପରି ଅଛି। BSB BSB: For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines? But I am among you as one who serves.
28 ULB ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋହର ସମସ୍ତ ପରୀକ୍ଷାରେ ମୋ' ସହିତ ରହି ଆସିଅଛ; BSB BSB: You are the ones who have stood by Me in My trials.
29 ULB ଏଣୁ ମୋହର ପିତା ଯେପରି ମୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ନିରୂପଣ କଲେ, ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିରୂପଣ କରୁଅଛି, BSB BSB: And I bestow on you a kingdom, just as My Father has bestowed one on Me,
30 ULB ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋହର ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ମୋ ମେଜରେ ଭୋଜନପାନ କରିବ, ପୁଣି, ସିଂହାସନରେ ଉପବେଶନ କରି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଦ୍ୱାଦଶ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀକୁ ଶାସନ କରିବ। BSB BSB: so that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31 ULB ଶିମୋନ, ଶିମୋନ,ଦେଖ, ଗହମକୁ ଚାଲୁଣୀରେ ଚଲାଇବା ପରି ଶୟତାନ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚଲାଇବାକୁ ଅନୁମତି ପାଇଅଛି; BSB BSB: Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you like wheat.
32 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଯେପରି ଲୋପ ନ ହୁଏ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିବେଦନ କଲି; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଫେରିଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆପଣା ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁସ୍ଥିର କର। BSB BSB: But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith will not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”
33 ULB ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୁଁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସହିତ କାରାଗାରକୁ ଯିବାକୁ ଓ ମୃତ୍ୟୁଭୋଗ କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଅଛି। BSB BSB: “Lord,” said Peter, “I am ready to go with You even to prison and to death.”
34 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ କହିଲେ, ହେ ପିତର, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଆଜି କୁକୁଡ଼ା ନ ଡାକୁଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ମୋତେ ଜାଣ, ଏହା ତିନି ଥର ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରିବା। BSB BSB: But Jesus replied, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”
36 ULB ସେଥିରେ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ଏବେ, ଯାହାର ଟଙ୍କା ରଖିବାର ମୁଣା ଅଛି, ସେ ତାହା ନେଉ, ସେହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ଝୋଲି ମଧ୍ୟ ନେଉ, ଆଉ ଯାହାର ନାହିଁ, ସେ ଆପଣା ଚାଦରଖଣ୍ଡକ ବିକି ଖଣ୍ଡା କିଣୁ। BSB BSB: “Now, however,” He told them, “the one with a purse should take it, and likewise a bag; and the one without a sword should sell his cloak and buy one. 37 ULB କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଯେପରି ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ଲେଖାଅଛି, ତାହା ମୋଠାରେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ହେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ; ସେ ଅଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗଣିତ ହେଲେ, ଯେଣୁ ମୋ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ କଥା ସିଦ୍ଧ ହେଉଅଛି। BSB BSB: For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For what is written about Me is reaching its fulfillment.”
38 ULB ସେଥିରେ ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, ପ୍ରଭୁ ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ, ଏଠାରେ ଦୁଇଟା ଖଣ୍ଡା ଅଛି। ପୁଣି, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ। BSB BSB: So they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” “That is enough,” He answered.
39 ULB ସେ ବାହାରି ଆପଣା ଧାରାନୁସାରେ ଜୀତ ପର୍ବତକୁ ଗଲେ, ଆଉ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗଲେ। BSB BSB: Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed Him.
40 ULB ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୋଇ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ପରୀକ୍ଷାରେ ଯେପରି ନ ପଡ଼, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର। BSB BSB: When He came to the place, He told them, “Pray that you will not enter into temptation.”
41 ULB ଆଉ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ଶହେ ହାତ ଦୂରକୁ ଯାଇ ଆଣ୍ଠୁପାତି ଏହି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, BSB BSB: And He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, where He knelt down and prayed,
43 ULB ଆଉ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରୁ ଜଣେ ଦୂତ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରଦାନ କଲେ। BSB BSB: Then an angel from heaven appeared to Him and strengthened Him.
44 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେ ମର୍ମାନ୍ତିକ ଦୁଃଖରେ ମଗ୍ନ ହୋଇ ଆହୁରି ଏକାଗ୍ର ଭାବରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଝାଳ ଘନ ରକ୍ତଟୋପା ପରି ଭୂଇଁରେ ପଡ଼ିଲା। BSB BSB: And in His anguish, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.
45 ULB ଆଉ ସେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାରୁ ଉଠି ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୁଃଖ ହେତୁ ନିଦ୍ରିତ ଦେଖିଲେ; BSB BSB: When Jesus rose from prayer and returned to the disciples, He found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow.
46 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, କାହିଁକି ଶୋଉଅଛ? ପରୀକ୍ଷାରେ ଯେପରି ନ ପଡ଼, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଉଠି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର। BSB BSB: “Why are you sleeping?” He asked. “Get up and pray so that you will not enter into temptation.”
47 ULB ସେ କଥା କହୁଥିବା ସମୟରେ, ଦେଖ, ଲୋକସମୂହ ଆସି ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ, ଆଉ ଦ୍ୱାଦଶଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଯିହୂଦା ନାମକ ଜଣେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଆଗେ ଆଗେ ଆସି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଚୁମ୍ବନ କରିବାକୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଗଲା BSB BSB: While He was still speaking, a crowd arrived, led by the man called Judas, one of the Twelve. He approached Jesus to kiss Him.
48 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାକୁ ହହିଲେ, ହେ ଯିହୂଦା, ଚୁମ୍ବନ ଦ୍ୱାରା କି ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ଶତ୍ରୁ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରୁଅଛ? BSB BSB: But Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”
49 ULB ଏଥିରେ କ'ଣ, ତାହା ଦେଖି ତାହାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗୀମାନେ କହିଲେ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କ'ଣ ଖଡ଼୍ଗରେ ଆଘାତ କରିବା? BSB BSB: Those around Jesus saw what was about to happen and said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?”
50 ULB ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ ମହାଯାଜକଙ୍କ ଦାସକୁ ଖଣ୍ଡାରେ ଆଘାତ କରି ତାହାର ଡାହାଣ କାନ କାଟିପକାଇଲେ। BSB BSB: And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.
51 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ,ଏତିକି ସହିଥାଅ; ପୁଣି, ସେ ତାହାର କାନ ଛୁଇଁ ତାହାକୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କଲେ। BSB BSB: But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And He touched the man’s ear and healed him.
52 ULB ଆଉ, ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆସିଥିବା ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକ, ମନ୍ଦିରର ସେନାପତି ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଡକାୟତ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ବାହାରିବା ପରି ଖଣ୍ଡା ଓ ଠେଙ୍ଗା ଘେନି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କ'ଣ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲ? BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to the chief priests, temple officers, and elders who had come for Him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against an outlaw?
53 ULB ମୁଁ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ଥିବା ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ହାତ ବଢ଼ାଇଲ ନାହିଁ; କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସମୟ ଓ ଅନ୍ଧକାରର କର୍ତ୍ତାପଣ। BSB BSB: Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on Me. But this hour belongs to you and to the power of darkness.”
54 ULB ପରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଘେନିଯାଇ ମହାଯାଜକଙ୍କ ଗୃହକୁ ଆଣିଲେ; କିନ୍ତୁ ପିତର ଦୂରରେ ରହି ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗଲେ। BSB BSB: Then they seized Jesus, led Him away, and took Him into the house of the high priest. And Peter followed at a distance.
55 ULB ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ଅଗଣା ମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥଳରେ ନିଆଁ ଜାଳି ଏକାଠି ବସନ୍ତେ ପିତର ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବସି ରହିଲେ। BSB BSB: When those present had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them.
56 ULB ଜଣେ ଦାସୀ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ନିଆଁ ପାଖରେ ବସିଥିବା ଦେଖି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଏକଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଚାହିଁ କହିଲା, ଏ ଲୋକଟା ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହା ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଥିଲା। BSB BSB: A servant girl saw him seated in the firelight and looked intently at him. “This man also was with Him,” she said.
57 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରି କହିଲେ, ହେ ନାରୀ, ମୁଁ ତାହାକୁ ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: But Peter denied it. “Woman, I do not know Him,” he said.
58 ULB ଅଳ୍ପ ସମୟ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆଉ ଜଣେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି କହିଲା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ପିତର କହିଲେ, ନାହିଁ, ଭାଇ, ମୁଁ ନୁହେଁ। BSB BSB: A short time later, someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not.”
59 ULB ପ୍ରାୟ ଘଣ୍ଟାକ ପରେ ଆଉ ଜଣେ ଦୃଢ଼ ଭାବରେ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା, ଏ ଲୋକଟା ମଧ୍ୟ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଥିଲା, କାରଣ ସେ ତ ଗାଲିଲୀୟ ଲୋକ। BSB BSB: About an hour later, another man insisted, “Certainly this man was with Him, for he too is a Galilean.”
60 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ପିତର କହିଲେ, ଭାଇ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା କହୁଅଛ, ମୁଁ ତାହା ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ। ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ସେ କହୁ କହୁ କୁକୁଡ଼ା ରାବିଲା; BSB BSB: “Man, I do not know what you are talking about,” Peter replied. And immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed.
61 ULB ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରଭୁ ବୁଲିପଡ଼ି ପିତରଙ୍କୁ ଏକଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଚାହିଁଲେ; ସେଥିରେ ଆଜି କୁକୁଡ଼ା ଡାକିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ତିନି ଥର ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରିବ, ଏହି ଯେଉଁ କଥା ପ୍ରଭୁ ପିତରଙ୍କୁ କହିଥିଲେ ତାହା ତାହାଙ୍କ ମନରେ ପଡ଼ିଲା, BSB BSB: And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word that the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny Me three times.”
62 ULB ଆଉ ସେ ବାହାରକୁ ଯାଇ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ ହୋଇ ରୋଦନ କଲେ। BSB BSB: And he went outside and wept bitterly.
63 ULB ଆଉ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଧରି ରଖିଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରହାର କରୁ କରୁ ପରିହାସ କଲେ, BSB BSB: The men who were holding Jesus began to mock Him and beat Him.
64 ULB ପୁଣି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ମୁହଁ ଘୋଡ଼ାଇ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ତୁ ପରା ଭାବବାଦୀ! କହ ତ କିଏ ତୋତେ ମାଇଲା? BSB BSB: They blindfolded Him and kept demanding, “Prophesy! Who hit You?”
65 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ଆହୁରି ଅନେକ କଥା ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କହି ତାହାଙ୍କର ନିନ୍ଦା କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ' BSB BSB: And they said many other blasphemous things against Him.
66 ULB ସକାଳ ହେଲାକ୍ଷଣି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗ ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଏକତ୍ର ହୋଇ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ମହାସଭାକୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଘେନିଯାଇ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ, ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ। BSB BSB: At daybreak the council of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and scribes, met together. They led Jesus into their Sanhedrin and said,
67 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଯଦି ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କୁ କହେ, ଆପଣମାନେ ତ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ; BSB BSB: “If You are the Christ, tell us.” Jesus answered, “If I tell you, you will not believe.
68 ULB ପୁଣି, ମୁଁ ଯଦି ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରେ, ଆପଣମାନେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: And if I ask you a question, you will not answer.
69 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହାପରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପରାକ୍ରମର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ଉପବିଷ୍ଟ ହେବେ। BSB BSB: But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”
70 ULB ସେଥିରେ ସମସ୍ତେ ପଚାରିଲେ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର? ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ସେହି ବୋଲି ଆପଣମାନେ କହୁଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: So they all asked, “Are You then the Son of God?” He replied, “You say that I am.”
71 ULB ତେଣୁ ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଆଉ କଅଣ ପ୍ରୟୋଜନ? ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତ ଆପେ ଆପେ ତାହାର ନିଜ ମୁଖରୁ ଏହା ଶୁଣିଲୁ। BSB BSB: “Why do we need any more testimony?” they declared. “We have heard it for ourselves from His own lips.”
