3 ULB ଯେଉଁମାନେ ନ୍ୟାୟ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଧନ୍ୟ ଓ ଯେ ସବୁବେଳେ ଧର୍ମାଚରଣ କରେ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ। BSB BSB: Blessed are those who uphold justice, who practice righteousness at all times.
4 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଯେଉଁ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ବହିଥାଅ, ତଦନୁସାରେ ମୋତେ ସ୍ମରଣ କର; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ଘେନି ମୋହର ତତ୍ତ୍ୱ ନିଅ; BSB BSB: Remember me, O LORD, in Your favor to Your people; visit me with Your salvation,
5 ULB ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ସମୃଦ୍ଧି ଦେଖିବି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅଧିକାର ସହିତ ଦର୍ପ କରିବି। BSB BSB: that I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, and rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, and give glory with Your inheritance.
6 ULB ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ପାପ କରିଅଛୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅପରାଧ କରିଅଛୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅଧର୍ମ କରିଅଛୁ। BSB BSB: We have sinned like our fathers; we have done wrong and acted wickedly.
7 ULB ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃପୁରୁଷମାନେ ମିସରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରିୟାସବୁ ବୁଝିଲେ ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୟାର ବାହୁଲ୍ୟ ସ୍ମରଣ କଲେ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ସମୁଦ୍ର ନିକଟରେ, ସୂଫ ସାଗର ନିକଟରେ ହେଁ ବିଦ୍ରୋହାଚରଣ କଲେ। BSB BSB: Our fathers in Egypt did not grasp Your wonders or remember Your abundant kindness; but they rebelled by the sea, there at the Red Sea.

11 ULB ପୁଣି, ଜଳରାଶି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କଲା; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ରହିଲା ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: The waters covered their foes; not one of them remained.
12 ULB ସେତେବେଳେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲେ; ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କଲେ। BSB BSB: Then they believed His promises and sang His praise.
13 ULB ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ କର୍ମସକଳ ଶୀଘ୍ର ପାସୋରି ଗଲେ; ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାର ଅପେକ୍ଷା କଲେ ନାହିଁ; BSB BSB: Yet they soon forgot His works and failed to wait for His counsel.
14 ULB ମାତ୍ର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ଅତିଶୟ ଲୋଭାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହେଲେ ଓ ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କଲେ। BSB BSB: They craved intensely in the wilderness and tested God in the desert.
15 ULB ତହିଁରେ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥିତ ବିଷୟ ଦେଲେ; ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣରେ କ୍ଷୀଣତା ପ୍ରେରଣ କଲେ। BSB BSB: So He granted their request, but sent a wasting disease upon them.

17 ULB ପୃଥିବୀ ଫାଟିଯାଇ ଦାଥନକୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କଲା ଓ ଅବୀରାମ୍ର ଦଳକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କଲା। BSB BSB: The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan; it covered the assembly of Abiram.
18 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦଳ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଗ୍ନି ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେଲା; ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖା ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଗ୍ଧ କଲା। BSB BSB: Then fire blazed through their company; flames consumed the wicked.
19 ULB ସେମାନେ ହୋରେବରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗୋବତ୍ସ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ ଓ ଛାଞ୍ଚରେ ଢଳା ପ୍ରତିମାକୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲେ। BSB BSB: At Horeb they made a calf and worshiped a molten image.
20 ULB ଏହିରୂପେ, ସେମାନେ ତୃଣଭକ୍ଷକ ଗୋରୁର ପ୍ରତିମା ସହିତ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଗୌରବସ୍ୱରୂପଙ୍କୁ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କଲେ। BSB BSB: They exchanged their Glory for the image of a grass-eating ox.
21 ULB ଯେ ମିସରରେ ବିବିଧ ମହତ କର୍ମ, ହାମ୍ ଦେଶରେ ନାନା ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟକର୍ମ ଓ ସୂଫ ସାଗର ନିକଟରେ ଭୟଙ୍କର କର୍ମ ସାଧନ କରିଥିଲେ; BSB BSB: They forgot God their Savior, who did great things in Egypt,
22 ULB ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ସେହି ତ୍ରାଣକର୍ତ୍ତା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ପାସୋରିଲେ। BSB BSB: wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.
23 ULB ଏହେତୁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂହାର କରିବେ ବୋଲି କହିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂହାର ନ କରିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ କୋପ ଫେରାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମନୋନୀତ ମୋଶା ଭଗ୍ନସ୍ଥାନରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: So He said He would destroy them—had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach to divert His wrath from destroying them.
24 ULB ଆହୁରି, ସେମାନେ ମନୋରମ ଦେଶକୁ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କଲେ, ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: They despised the pleasant land; they did not believe His promise.

26 ULB ଏହେତୁ ସେ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିପାତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ନାନା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶକୁ ନିପାତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ BSB BSB: So He raised His hand and swore to cast them down in the wilderness,
27 ULB ଓ ନାନା ଦେଶରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ଉଠାଇଲେ। BSB BSB: to disperse their offspring among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.

29 ULB ଏହିରୂପେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା କ୍ରିୟା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କଲେ; ତହୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମହାମାରୀ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: So they provoked the LORD to anger with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them.
30 ULB ସେତେବେଳେ ପୀନହସ୍ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ଦଣ୍ଡାଜ୍ଞା ସାଧନ କଲା; ତହିଁରେ ମହାମାରୀ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: But Phinehas stood and intervened, and the plague was restrained.
31 ULB ଏଣୁ ତାହା ପୁରୁଷାନୁକ୍ରମେ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତାହା ପକ୍ଷରେ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ବୋଲି ଗଣିତ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: It was credited to him as righteousness for endless generations to come.

35 ULB ମାତ୍ର ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ମିଶ୍ରିତ ହେଲେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କ୍ରିୟାସବୁ ଶିଖିଲେ। BSB BSB: but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.
36 ULB ଆଉ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେବତାଗଣର ସେବା କଲେ; ତାହା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଫାନ୍ଦ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them.
37 ULB ହଁ, ସେମାନେ ଭୂତଗଣ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରକନ୍ୟାମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ। BSB BSB: They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.
38 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ କିଣାନ ଦେଶର ଦେବତାଗଣ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ବଳିଦାନ କରି ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ ରକ୍ତ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରକନ୍ୟାଗଣର ରକ୍ତପାତ କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ଦେଶ ରକ୍ତରେ ଅଶୁଚି ହେଲା। BSB BSB: They shed innocent blood—the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.
39 ULB ଏହିରୂପେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଅପବିତ୍ର ହେଲେ ଓ ବ୍ୟବହାରରେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କଲେ। BSB BSB: They defiled themselves by their actions and prostituted themselves by their deeds.
40 ULB ଏହେତୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ କୋପ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହେଲା, ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ଅଧିକାରକୁ ଘୃଣା କଲେ। BSB BSB: So the anger of the LORD burned against His people, and He abhorred His own inheritance.
41 ULB ଆଉ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଘୃଣାକାରୀମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କର୍ତ୍ତୃତ୍ୱ କଲେ; BSB BSB: He delivered them into the hand of the nations, and those who hated them ruled over them.
42 ULB ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଉପଦ୍ରବ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ତଳେ ବଶୀଭୂତ ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: Their enemies oppressed them and subdued them under their hand.

44 ULB ତଥାପି ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କାକୂକ୍ତି ଶୁଣି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶାରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କଲେ। BSB BSB: Nevertheless He heard their cry; He took note of their distress.
45 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ନିୟମ ସ୍ମରଣ କଲେ ଓ ନିଜର ଦୟାର ବାହୁଲ୍ୟ ଅନୁସାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କୃପା କଲେ। BSB BSB: And He remembered His covenant with them, and relented by the abundance of His loving devotion.
46 ULB ଆହୁରି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ନେଇଗଲେ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମନରେ ଦୟା ଜନ୍ମାଇଲେ। BSB BSB: He made them objects of compassion to all who held them captive.
47 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭ ପବିତ୍ର ନାମକୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରଶଂସାରେ ଦର୍ପ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ କର ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କର। BSB BSB: Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name, that we may glory in Your praise.
48 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅନାଦିକାଳରୁ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଧନ୍ୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ। ପୁଣି, ସମୁଦାୟ ଲୋକ ଆମେନ୍ କୁହନ୍ତୁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କର। BSB BSB: Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Hallelujah!
