2 ULB ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ, ଜୀବିତ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୋ’ ପ୍ରାଣ ତୃଷିତ; ମୁଁ କେବେ ଆସି ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବି? BSB BSB: My soul thirsts for God, the living God. When shall I come and appear in God’s presence?
3 ULB ମୋହର ଲୋତକ ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ମୋହର ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ହୋଇଅଛି, କାରଣ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିତ୍ୟ ମୋତେ କହନ୍ତି, “ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କାହାନ୍ତି?” BSB BSB: My tears have been my food both day and night, while men ask me all day long, “Where is your God?”
4 ULB ମୁଁ କିପରି ଲୋକସମୂହ ସହିତ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲି, ପୁଣି, ଆନନ୍ଦ ଓ ପ୍ରଶଂସାଧ୍ୱନି ସହିତ ପର୍ବପାଳନକାରୀ ଜନତାକୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୃହକୁ ଘେନିଗଲି, ଏହି କଥାସବୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରି ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣ ଆପଣା ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଢାଳି ଦେଉଅଛି। BSB BSB: These things come to mind as I pour out my soul: how I walked with the multitude, leading the festive procession to the house of God with shouts of joy and praise.
5 ULB ହେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ, ତୁ କାହିଁକି ଶୋକାକୁଳ ହେଉଅଛୁ? ତୁ କାହିଁକି ମୋ’ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଅସ୍ଥିର ହେଉଅଛୁ? ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କଠାରେ ଭରସା ରଖ; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନତାର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ସକାଶୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବି। BSB BSB: Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him for the salvation of His presence.
6 ULB ହେ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ମୋ’ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଶୋକାକୁଳ ହେଉଅଛି; ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ଦେଶରୁ, ପୁଣି, ହର୍ମୋଣ ଓ ମିତ୍ସୀୟର ପର୍ବତରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରୁଅଛି। BSB BSB: O my God, my soul despairs within me. Therefore I remember You from the land of Jordan and the peaks of Hermon—even from Mount Mizar.
7 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିର୍ଝର ସମୂହର ଶବ୍ଦରେ ଏକ ଗଭୀର ଅନ୍ୟ ଗଭୀରକୁ ଡାକଇ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଢେଉ ଓ ତରଙ୍ଗସବୁ ମୋ’ ଉପରେ ଯାଇଅଛି। BSB BSB: Deep calls to deep in the roar of Your waterfalls; all Your breakers and waves have rolled over me.
8 ULB ତଥାପି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦିନବେଳେ ଆପଣା ସ୍ନେହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ଆଜ୍ଞା କରିବେ, ପୁଣି, ରାତ୍ରିକାଳେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଗୁଣଗାନ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ଜୀବନଦାତା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ମୋହର ସଙ୍ଗୀ ହେବ। BSB BSB: The LORD decrees His loving devotion by day, and at night His song is with me as a prayer to the God of my life.
9 ULB ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଶୈଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ କହିବି, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ମୋତେ ପାସୋରିଅଛ? ମୁଁ କାହିଁକି ଶତ୍ରୁର ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟ ହେତୁ ଶୋକ କରି ବୁଲୁଅଛି?” BSB BSB: I say to God my Rock, “Why have You forgotten me? Why must I walk in sorrow because of the enemy’s oppression?”
10 ULB ମୋ’ ଅସ୍ଥିରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ପରି ମୋ’ ବିପକ୍ଷଗଣ ମୋତେ ତିରସ୍କାର କରନ୍ତି; କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ନିତ୍ୟ ମୋତେ କହନ୍ତି, “ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କାହାନ୍ତି?” BSB BSB: Like the crushing of my bones, my enemies taunt me, while they say to me all day long, “Where is your God?”
11 ULB ହେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ଶୋକାକୁଳ ହେଉଅଛ? ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ମୋ’ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଅସ୍ଥିର ହେଉଅଛ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କଠାରେ ଭରସା ରଖ; କାରଣ ମୁଁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବି, ସେ ମୋ’ ମୁଖର ପ୍ରସନ୍ନତା ଓ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Why are you downcast, O my soul?
