2 ULB ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਭਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਣ BSB BSB: And he said to the whole assembly of Israel, “If it seems good to you, and if this is of the LORD our God, let us send word far and wide to the rest of our brothers in all the land of Israel, and also to the priests and Levites in their cities and pasturelands, so that they may join us.
3 ULB ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਈਏ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦਿਆਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ BSB BSB: Then let us bring back the ark of our God, for we did not inquire of Him in the days of Saul.”
4 ULB ਤਦ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਭਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਲੱਗੀ। BSB BSB: And because this proposal seemed right to all the people, the whole assembly agreed to it.
5 ULB ਅਖ਼ੀਰ, ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਮਾਥ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਤੱਕ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਰਯਥਯਾਰੀਮ ਤੋਂ ਲਿਆਉਣ BSB BSB: So David assembled all Israel, from the River Shihor in Egypt to Lebo-hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.
6 ULB ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਬਆਲਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਕਿਰਯਥਯਾਰੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਏ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਉਸ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ BSB BSB: David and all Israel went up to Baalah of Judah (that is, Kiriath-jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the LORD, who is enthroned between the cherubim—the ark that is called by the Name.
7 ULB ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਅਬੀਨਾਦਾਬ ਦੇ ਘਰੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੀਂ ਬੈਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਜ਼ਾ ਤੇ ਅਹਯੋ ਬੈਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਕਦੇ ਸਨ BSB BSB: So they carried the ark of God from the house of Abinadab on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding the cart.
8 ULB ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ, ਸਿਤਾਰ ਤੇ ਤੰਬੁਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਢੋਲਕ, ਅਤੇ ਛੈਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਤੁਰੇ। BSB BSB: David and all the Israelites were celebrating before God with all their might, with songs and on harps and lyres, with tambourines, cymbals, and trumpets.

So he named that place Perez-uzzah, as it is called to this day.
12 ULB ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਡਰ ਕੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਲਿਆਵਾਂ? BSB BSB: That day David feared God and asked, “How can I ever bring the ark of God to me?”
13 ULB ਸੋ ਦਾਊਦ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਲਿਆਇਆ, ਸਗੋਂ ਗਿਤੀ ਓਬੇਦਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖ ਛੱਡਿਆ BSB BSB: So he did not move the ark with him to the City of David; instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
14 ULB ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਓਬੇਦਅਦੋਮ ਦੀ ਕੁਲ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਰਿਹਾ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਓਬੇਦਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ। BSB BSB: Thus the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house for three months, and the LORD blessed his household and everything he owned.
