2 ULB ਤਾਂ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਅਰਾਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਭਾਰੀ ਦਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਲਈ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖ, ਉਹ ਹਸਸੋਨ ਤਾਮਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਏਨ ਗਦੀ ਹੈ BSB BSB: Then some men came and told Jehoshaphat, “A vast army is coming against you from Edom, from beyond the Sea; they are already in Hazazon-tamar” (that is, En-gedi).
3 ULB ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੇ ਭੈ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਵਰਤ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੌਂਡੀ ਪਿਟਵਾਈ BSB BSB: Jehoshaphat was alarmed and set his face to seek the LORD. And he proclaimed a fast throughout Judah.
4 ULB ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਮੰਗਣ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਾਲੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਆਏ BSB BSB: So the people of Judah gathered to seek the LORD, and indeed, they came from all the cities of Judah to seek Him.
5 ULB ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ BSB BSB: Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem in the house of the LORD in front of the new courtyard
6 ULB ਉਸ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ? ਅਤੇ ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ? ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਨੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਤੇਰਾ ਟਾਕਰਾ ਕਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ BSB BSB: and said, “O LORD, God of our fathers, are You not the God who is in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand, and no one can stand against You.
7 ULB ਹੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ? BSB BSB: Our God, did You not drive out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham Your friend?
8 ULB ਸੋ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਐਉਂ ਆਖ ਕੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ BSB BSB: They have lived in the land and have built in it a sanctuary for Your Name, saying,
9 ULB ਕਿ ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਬਦੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆ ਪਵੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਨਿਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਬਵਾ ਜਾਂ ਕਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਖੜੇ ਹੋਈਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਇਸ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਔਕੜ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਲਵੇਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਚਾ ਦੇਵੇਂ BSB BSB: ‘If disaster comes upon us—whether sword or judgment, plague or famine—we will stand before this temple and before You, for Your Name is in this temple. We will cry out to You in our distress, and You will hear us and save us.’
10 ULB ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕਿ ਅੰਮੋਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਆਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੇਅੀਰ ਪਹਾੜ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਹੱਲਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁੜ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ BSB BSB: And now, here are the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, whom You did not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt. So Israel turned away from them and did not destroy them.
11 ULB ਵੇਖ, ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕੱਢਣ ਲਈ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ! BSB BSB: See how they are repaying us by coming to drive us out of the possession that You gave us as an inheritance.
12 ULB ਹੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ? ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਵੱਡੇ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਸਾਡੀ ਕੁਝ ਤਾਕਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਕਰੀਏ ਪਰ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਲੱਗ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ BSB BSB: Our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless before this vast army that comes against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”
13 ULB ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ, ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਤ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਰਹੇ। BSB BSB: Meanwhile all the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, were standing before the LORD.
14 ULB ਤਦ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਹਜ਼ੀਏਲ ਲੇਵੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੋ ਆਸਫ ਦੀ ਵੰਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੇ ਬਨਾਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੋਤਾ ਤੇ ਯੀਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੜੋਤਾ ਤੇ ਮਤਨਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੜਪੋਤਾ ਸੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਉਤਰਿਆ BSB BSB: Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite from Asaph’s descendants, as he stood in the midst of the assembly.
15 ULB ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕੋ ਅਤੇ ਹੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਣੋ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਐਉਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਵੱਡੇ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਾ ਡਰੋ, ਨਾ ਘਾਬਰੋ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਲੜਾਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਹੈ BSB BSB: And he said, “Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the LORD says: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army, for the battle does not belong to you, but to God.
16 ULB ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੱਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਟਾਕਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਜਾਣਾ। ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਹ ਸੀਸ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਏਲ ਦੀ ਉਜਾੜ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਵਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਸਿਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਓਗੇ BSB BSB: Tomorrow you are to march down against them. You will see them coming up the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the valley facing the Wilderness of Jeruel.
17 ULB ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਲੜਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਵੇਂਗਾ, ਹੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਾਲ ਬੰਨ ਕੇ ਚੁੱਪ-ਚਾਪ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਵੇਖਣਾ! ਨਾ ਡਰੋ, ਨਾ ਘਾਬਰੋ। ਕੱਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਲਈ ਚੱਲਣਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਹੈ BSB BSB: You need not fight this battle. Take up your positions, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out and face them tomorrow, for the LORD is with you.’”
18 ULB ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੁਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ BSB BSB: Then Jehoshaphat bowed facedown, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down before the LORD to worship Him.
19 ULB ਅਤੇ ਕਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਕੋਰਾਹੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਖੜੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤੱਤ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ BSB BSB: And the Levites from the Kohathites and Korahites stood up to praise the LORD, the God of Israel, shouting in a very loud voice.
20 ULB ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਤਕੋਅ ਦੀ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਣ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕੋ ਸੁਣੋ! ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੋਗੇ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ BSB BSB: Early in the morning they got up and left for the Wilderness of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood up and said, “Hear me, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Believe in the LORD your God, and you will be upheld; believe in His prophets, and you will succeed.”
21 ULB ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਲਾਹ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਗਵੱਯਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕੱਰਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਚੱਲ ਕੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਸਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਤੱਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਣ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰੋ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਦੀ ਹੈ BSB BSB: Then Jehoshaphat consulted with the people and appointed those who would sing to the LORD and praise the splendor of His holiness. As they went out before the army, they were singing: “Give thanks to the LORD, for His loving devotion endures forever.”
22 ULB ਜਦ ਉਹ ਗਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਤੱਤ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅੰਮੋਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਆਬੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਈਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਛਹਿ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਠਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੋ ਉਹ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ। BSB BSB: The moment they began their shouts and praises, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir who had come against Judah, and they were defeated.
23 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਅੰਮੋਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਆਬੀ ਸਈਰ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੇਟ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਸਈਰ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ BSB BSB: The Ammonites and Moabites rose up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, devoting them to destruction. And when they had finished off the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.
24 ULB ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਦੇ ਬੁਰਜ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੁੱਜ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਵੱਡੇ ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋਥਾਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਬਚਿਆ! BSB BSB: When the men of Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked for the vast army, but there were only corpses lying on the ground; no one had escaped.
25 ULB ਜਦ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲ ਲੁੱਟਣ ਲਈ ਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਏਨਾ ਮਾਲ ਧਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਮੁੱਲੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਲਿਜਾਈਆਂ ਨਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੁੱਟ ਦਾ ਮਾਲ ਏਨਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟਦੇ ਰਹੇ BSB BSB: Then Jehoshaphat and his people went to carry off the plunder, and they found on the bodies an abundance of goods and valuables—more than they could carry away. They were gathering the plunder for three days because there was so much.
26 ULB ਅਤੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਦਿਨ ਉਹ ਬਰਾਕਾਹ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖਿਆ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਬਰਾਕਾਹ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਹੈ BSB BSB: On the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Beracah, where they blessed the LORD. Therefore that place is called the Valley of Beracah to this day.
27 ULB ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮੁੜੇ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ-ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਜਾਣ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਸੀ BSB BSB: Then all the men of Judah and Jerusalem, with Jehoshaphat at their head, returned joyfully to Jerusalem, for the LORD had made them rejoice over their enemies.
28 ULB ਸੋ ਉਹ ਸਿਤਾਰਾਂ, ਬਰਬਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ BSB BSB: So they entered Jerusalem and went into the house of the LORD with harps, lyres, and trumpets.
29 ULB ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਭੈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ ਜਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ BSB BSB: And the fear of God came upon all the kingdoms of the lands when they heard that the LORD had fought against the enemies of Israel.
30 ULB ਸੋ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਨ ਚੈਨ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲਿਓਂ ਅਰਾਮ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆਂ। BSB BSB: Then Jehoshaphat’s kingdom was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side.
31 ULB ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਜਦ ਉਹ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਪੈਂਤੀਆਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਝੀ ਸਾਲ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਅਜ਼ੂਬਾਹ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਿਲਰੀ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ BSB BSB: So Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah. He was thirty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem twenty-five years. His mother’s name was Azubah daughter of Shilhi.
32 ULB ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਆਸਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਮੁੜਿਆ ਪਰ ਉਹੋ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੀਕ ਸੀ BSB BSB: And Jehoshaphat walked in the way of his father Asa and did not turn away from it; he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD.
33 ULB ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਟਾਏ ਨਾ ਗਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਅਜੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਦਿਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਇਆ ਸੀ BSB BSB: The high places, however, were not removed; the people had not yet set their hearts on the God of their fathers.
