His mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.

5 ULB ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਲੇਵੀਓ, ਮੇਰੀ ਸੁਣੋ! ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੈਲ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਓ BSB BSB: “Listen to me, O Levites,” he said. “Consecrate yourselves now and consecrate the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers. Remove from the Holy Place every impurity.

They abandoned Him, turned their faces away from the dwelling place of the LORD, and turned their backs on Him.

They did not burn incense or present burnt offerings in the Holy Place of the God of Israel.

9 ULB ਵੇਖੋ, ਇਸੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ BSB BSB: For behold, this is why our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and daughters and wives are in captivity.
10 ULB ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਘੋਰ ਕਹਿਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਟਲ ਜਾਵੇ BSB BSB: Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Israel, so that His fierce anger will turn away from us.
11 ULB ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਢਿੱਲੇ ਨਾ ਪੈਣਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੁਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰ ਬਣੋ ਅਤੇ ਧੂਪ ਧੁਖਾਓ। BSB BSB: Now, my sons, do not be negligent, for the LORD has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, to minister before Him, and to burn incense.”
12 ULB ਤਦ ਇਹ ਲੇਵੀ ਉੱਠੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਕਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਮਾਸਈ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਹਥ ਅਤੇ ਅਜ਼ਰਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਬਦੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕੀਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਯਹਲਲਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਜ਼ਰਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਮਾ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਆਹ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਆਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਏਦਨ BSB BSB: Then the Levites set to work: Mahath son of Amasai and Joel son of Azariah from the Kohathites; Kish son of Abdi and Azariah son of Jehallelel from the Merarites; Joah son of Zimmah and Eden son of Joah from the Gershonites;
13 ULB ਅਤੇ ਅਲੀਸਾਫਾਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਮਰੀ, ਯਿਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਾਫੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਮਤਨਯਾਹ BSB BSB: Shimri and Jeuel from the Elizaphanites; Zechariah and Mattaniah from the Asaphites;
14 ULB ਅਤੇ ਹੇਮਾਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਹੀਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਦੂਥੂਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ਼ਮਅਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਅਜ਼ੀਏਲ BSB BSB: Jehiel and Shimei from the Hemanites; and Shemaiah and Uzziel from the Jeduthunites.
15 ULB ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਾਕ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਏ BSB BSB: When they had assembled their brothers and consecrated themselves, they went in to cleanse the house of the LORD, according to the command of the king by the words of the LORD.
16 ULB ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਮੈਲ਼ ਕੁਚੈਲ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੱਭੀ ਬਾਹਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਦਰੋਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ BSB BSB: So the priests went inside the house of the LORD to cleanse it, and they brought out to the courtyard all the unclean things that they found in the temple of the LORD. Then the Levites took these things and carried them out to the Kidron Valley.
17 ULB ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤਰੀਖ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜੀ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਠਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਸੋ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਸੋਲਾਂ ਤਰੀਖ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ BSB BSB: They began the consecration on the first day of the first month, and on the eighth day of the month they reached the portico of the LORD. For eight more days they consecrated the house of the LORD itself, finishing on the sixteenth day of the first month.
18 ULB ਤਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਤ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ BSB BSB: Then they went in to King Hezekiah and reported, “We have cleansed the entire house of the LORD, the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the table of the showbread with all its utensils.
19 ULB ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਭਾਂਡਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਈਮਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: Moreover, we have prepared and consecrated all the articles that King Ahaz in his unfaithfulness cast aside during his reign. They are now in front of the altar of the LORD.”
20 ULB ਤਾਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ BSB BSB: Early the next morning King Hezekiah gathered the city officials and went up to the house of the LORD.
21 ULB ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸੱਤ ਬਲ਼ਦ, ਸੱਤ ਛੱਤ੍ਰੇ, ਸੱਤ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਤ ਬੱਕਰੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਲਈ, ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੀ ਵੰਸ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਓ BSB BSB: They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats as a sin offering for the kingdom, for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And the king commanded the priests, the descendants of Aaron, to offer them on the altar of the LORD.
22 ULB ਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਲ਼ਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਲਹੂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਛਤ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੱਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ BSB BSB: So they slaughtered the bulls, and the priests took the blood and splattered it on the altar. They slaughtered the rams and splattered the blood on the altar. And they slaughtered the lambs and splattered the blood on the altar.
23 ULB ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੱਕਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖੇ BSB BSB: Then they brought the goats for the sin offering before the king and the assembly, who laid their hands on them.
24 ULB ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਾਸਚਿੱਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਭੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ BSB BSB: And the priests slaughtered the goats and put their blood on the altar for a sin offering, to make atonement for all Israel, because the king had ordered the burnt offering and the sin offering for all Israel.
25 ULB ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੈਣਿਆਂ, ਸਿਤਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਬਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੈਬਦਾਨ ਗਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਥਾਨ ਨਬੀ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ BSB BSB: Hezekiah stationed the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, harps, and lyres according to the command of David, of Gad the king’s seer, and of Nathan the prophet. For the command had come from the LORD through His prophets.
26 ULB ਤਾਂ ਲੇਵੀ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਨਰਸਿੰਗੇ ਫੂਕਦੇ ਸਨ BSB BSB: The Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.
27 ULB ਅਤੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਰੰਭ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਨਰਸਿੰਗਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਇਆ BSB BSB: And Hezekiah ordered that the burnt offering be sacrificed on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD and the trumpets began as well, accompanied by the instruments of David king of Israel.
28 ULB ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਭਾ ਨੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਗਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਰਸਿੰਗਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਰਸਿੰਗੇ ਫੂਕਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਦਾ ਜਲਣਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ BSB BSB: The whole assembly was worshiping, the singers were singing, and the trumpeters were playing. All this continued until the burnt offering was completed.
29 ULB ਜਦ ਉਹ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਿਉਂ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ BSB BSB: When the offerings were completed, the king and all those present with him bowed down and worshiped.
30 ULB ਤਾਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਾਫ ਗੈਬਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਵਾਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤੱਤ ਗਾਓ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤੱਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੀਸ ਨਿਵਾ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ BSB BSB: Then King Hezekiah and his officials ordered the Levites to sing praises to the LORD in the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness and bowed down and worshiped.
31 ULB ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ, ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਓ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੇ ਲਿਆਓ। ਤਦ ਸਭਾ ਨੇ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਲਿਆਂਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਲਿਆਇਆ BSB BSB: Then Hezekiah said, “Now that you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings to the house of the LORD.” So the assembly brought sacrifices and thank offerings, and all whose hearts were willing brought burnt offerings.
32 ULB ਅਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਸਭਾ ਲਿਆਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਇਹ ਸੀ, ਸੱਤਰ ਬਲ਼ਦ, ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਛੱਤ੍ਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਭੇਡਾਂ, ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਸਨ BSB BSB: The number of burnt offerings the assembly brought was seventy bulls, a hundred rams, and two hundred lambs; all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
33 ULB ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਹ ਸਨ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ BSB BSB: And the consecrated offerings were six hundred bulls and three thousand sheep.
34 ULB ਪਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਥੋੜੇ ਜੇਹੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਖੱਲ ਨਾ ਲਾਹ ਸਕੇ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਾਈ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਨਾ ਮੁੱਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਲੇਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੇ ਸਨ BSB BSB: However, since there were not enough priests to skin all the burnt offerings, their Levite brothers helped them until the work was finished and until the priests had consecrated themselves. For the Levites had been more diligent in consecrating themselves than the priests had been.
35 ULB ਨਾਲੇ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦਿਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਂਵਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੀਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਸਣੇ, ਸੋ ਪਰਬੰਧ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਲਈ ਠੀਕ ਠੀਕ ਹੋਇਆ BSB BSB: Furthermore, the burnt offerings were abundant, along with the fat of the peace offerings and the drink offerings for the burnt offerings. So the service of the house of the LORD was established.
36 ULB ਤਾਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਬਾਗ ਬਾਗ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। BSB BSB: Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced at what God had prepared for the people, because everything had been accomplished so quickly.
