27 ULB ਜੁਆਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੁਆਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੂਲਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ। BSB BSB: It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is still young.
28 ULB ਉਹ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੁੱਪ ਰਹੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਜੂਲਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it upon him.

30 ULB ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੱਲ੍ਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੱਲ ਫੇਰ ਦੇਵੇ, ਉਹ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਸਹਿ ਲਵੇ! BSB BSB: Let him offer his cheek to the one who would strike him; let him be filled with reproach.
31 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: For the Lord will not cast us off forever.
32 ULB ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਦੁੱਖ ਵੀ ਦੇਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਦਯਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਰਹਿਮ ਵੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: Even if He causes grief, He will show compassion according to His abundant loving devotion.
33 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: For He does not willingly afflict or grieve the sons of men.
34 ULB ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਮਿੱਧਣਾ, BSB BSB: To crush underfoot all the prisoners of the land,
35 ULB ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਮਾਰਨਾ, BSB BSB: to deny a man justice before the Most High,
36 ULB ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਮੁਕੱਦਮਾ ਵਿਗੜਨਾ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵੇਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ! BSB BSB: to subvert a man in his lawsuit—of these the Lord does not approve.
37 ULB ਕੌਣ ਕੁਝ ਆਖੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ, ਜਦ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ? BSB BSB: Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has ordained it?
38 ULB ਕੀ ਦੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਦੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੇ? BSB BSB: Do not both adversity and good come from the mouth of the Most High?
39 ULB ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰੇ, ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਬੁਰਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਮੰਨੇ? BSB BSB: Why should any mortal man complain, in view of his sins?
40 ULB ਆਓ, ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਖੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਬਦਲੀਏ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜੀਏ! BSB BSB: Let us examine and test our ways, and turn back to the LORD.
