3 ULB ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਲੱਖਪੁਣਾ ਡਿੱਠਾ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੰਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੁਣਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। BSB BSB: For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 ULB ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਂ ਪੀੜ ਨਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਮੋਟਾ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: They have no struggle in their death; their bodies are well-fed.
5 ULB ਓਹ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਔਖੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ, ਨਾ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: They are free of the burdens others carry; they are not afflicted like other men.
6 ULB ਇਸ ਲਈ ਘਮੰਡ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਲੇ ਦੀ ਜੰਜੀਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਦਾ ਲੀੜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਜਦਾ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Therefore pride is their necklace; a garment of violence covers them.

8 ULB ਓਹ ਠੱਠਾ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: They mock and speak with malice; with arrogance they threaten oppression.
9 ULB ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਿਆ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੀਭ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਫਿਰਦੀ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: They set their mouths against the heavens, and their tongues strut across the earth.
10 ULB ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਏਧਰ ਮੁੜਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਛੰਨ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡੱਫਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, BSB BSB: So their people return to this place and drink up waters in abundance.

17 ULB ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਗਿਆ,- ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਸਮਝਿਆ! BSB BSB: until I entered God’s sanctuary; then I discerned their end.
18 ULB ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਲਕਣਿਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਬਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ! BSB BSB: Surely You set them on slick ground; You cast them down into ruin.

20 ULB ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਸੁਫ਼ਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਗਣ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਉਠੇਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਤੁੱਛ ਜਾਣੇਂਗਾ। BSB BSB: Like one waking from a dream, so You, O Lord, awaken and despise their form.
21 ULB ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਤਾਂ ਕੌੜਾ ਹੋਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਛੇਦਿਆ ਗਿਆ, BSB BSB: When my heart was grieved and I was pierced within,
22 ULB ਮੈਂ ਐਡਾ ਜਾਹਲ ਤੇ ਅਣਜਾਣ ਸੀ, ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪਸੂ ਜਿਹਾ ਬਣਿਆ। BSB BSB: I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before You.
23 ULB ਫੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਗ ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਿਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Yet I am always with You; You hold my right hand.
24 ULB ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰਮਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਖੇਂਗਾ। BSB BSB: You guide me with Your counsel, and later receive me in glory.

26 ULB ਮੇਰਾ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਢਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਭਾਗ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
27 ULB ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ, ਜੋ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹਨ ਓਹ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੱਗਿਓਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਨਾਹਕਾਰ ਗਰਕ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ! BSB BSB: Those far from You will surely perish; You destroy all who are unfaithful to You.
28 ULB ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਾਂ। BSB BSB: But as for me, it is good to draw near to God. I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may proclaim all Your works.
