4 ULB ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਜਦੇ ਰਹੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਝੰਡੇ ਖੜੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: Your foes have roared within Your meeting place; they have unfurled their banners as signs,

6 ULB ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਕਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਥੌੜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭੰਨ ਸੁੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ! BSB BSB: and smashing all the carvings with hatchets and picks.

8 ULB ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਆਓ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਦਬਾ ਦੇਈਏ! ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਭਾ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੂਕ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: They said in their hearts, “We will crush them completely.” They burned down every place where God met us in the land.
9 ULB ਅਸੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਕੋਈ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਦੇ, ਹੁਣ ਕੋਈ ਨਬੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਿਹਾ, ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਰਹੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: There are no signs for us to see. There is no longer any prophet. And none of us knows how long this will last.
10 ULB ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ, ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ? ਭਲਾ, ਵੈਰੀ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੁਫ਼ਰ ਬਕੇਗਾ? BSB BSB: How long, O God, will the enemy taunt You? Will the foe revile Your name forever?
11 ULB ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ, ਆਪਣਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਕਿਉਂ ਰੋਕ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਗਲ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਕਰ! BSB BSB: Why do You withdraw Your strong right hand? Stretch it out to destroy them!
12 ULB ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਕਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਛੁਟਕਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Yet God is my King from ancient times, working salvation on the earth.
13 ULB ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾੜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਲ ਜੰਤੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੂੰ ਭੰਨ ਸੁੱਟੇ। BSB BSB: You divided the sea by Your strength; You smashed the heads of the dragons of the sea;

15 ULB ਤੂੰ ਸੋਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਦੀ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੀ, ਤੂੰ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਮਾਸੀ ਦਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। BSB BSB: You broke open the fountain and the flood; You dried up the ever-flowing rivers.

20 ULB ਆਪਣੇ ਨੇਮ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਥਾਂ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਦਿਆਂ ਨਿਵਾਸਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ! BSB BSB: Consider Your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land.
21 ULB ਸਤਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਜਿਆਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮੁੜਨਾ ਨਾ ਪਵੇ, ਮਸਕੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨ। BSB BSB: Do not let the oppressed retreat in shame; may the poor and needy praise Your name.
22 ULB ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉੱਠ, ਆਪਣਾ ਮੁਦੱਪਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਲੜ, ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖ ਕਿ ਮੂਰਖ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ! BSB BSB: Rise up, O God; defend Your cause! Remember how the fool mocks You all day long.
23 ULB ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਵਿਸਾਰ, ਤੇਰੇ ਮੁਖਾਲਿਫਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੌਲਾ ਨਿੱਤ ਉੱਠਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Do not disregard the clamor of Your adversaries, the uproar of Your enemies that ascends continually.
