1 ULB E veio a mim a palavra de Yahweh, dizendo: BSB BSB: And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 ULB "Filho do homem, dize ao rei de Tiro, 'Assim diz o Senhor Yahweh: O teu coração é arrogante, pois disseste: 'Eu sou deus! Eu me assentarei no trono dos deuses no meio dos mares!'. Mesmo sendo homem e não deus, em teu coração, consideras a ti como deus. BSB BSB: “Son of man, tell the ruler of Tyre that this is what the Lord GOD says: Your heart is proud, and you have said, ‘I am a god; I sit in the seat of gods in the heart of the sea.’ Yet you are a man and not a god, though you have regarded your heart as that of a god.
3 ULB Tu pensas que és mais sábio que Daniel e que não há mistério algum que te supreenda! BSB BSB: Behold, you are wiser than Daniel; no secret is hidden from you!
4 ULB Enriqueceste com sabedoria e habilidade, adquiriste ouro e prata nos teus tesouros! BSB BSB: By your wisdom and understanding you have gained your wealth and amassed gold and silver for your treasuries.
5 ULB Pela grande sabedoria e por teu comércio, multiplicaste as tuas riquezas, por isso o teu coração é arrogante por causa da tua riqueza. BSB BSB: By your great skill in trading you have increased your wealth, but your heart has grown proud because of it.
6 ULB Portanto, o Senhor Yahweh diz: porque igualaste o teu coração a de um deus, BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Because you regard your heart as the heart of a god,
7 ULB trarei estrangeiros contra ti, homens terríveis dentre outras nações. Eles trarão as suas espadas contra a beleza da tua sabedoria e zombarão do teu esplendor. BSB BSB: behold, I will bring foreigners against you, the most ruthless of nations. They will draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom and will defile your splendor.
8 ULB Eles te farão cair na cova e morrerás como aqueles que morrem no coração do mar. BSB BSB: They will bring you down to the Pit, and you will die a violent death in the heart of the seas.
9 ULB Verdadeiramente, dirás: 'Eu sou um deus' para aqueles que te matam? Tu és homem e não Deus e estarás nas mãos daquele que te perfura. BSB BSB: Will you still say, ‘I am a god,’ in the presence of those who slay you? You will be only a man, not a god, in the hands of those who wound you.
10 ULB Morrerás como um incircunciso pelas mãos dos estranhos— pois Eu assim declaro— diz o Senhor Yahweh”. BSB BSB: You will die the death of the uncircumcised at the hands of foreigners. For I have spoken, declares the Lord GOD.”
11 ULB Mais uma vez, a palavra de Yahweh veio a mim, dizendo: BSB BSB: Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
12 ULB “Filho do homem, levanta uma lamentação sobre o rei de Tiro e dize para ele: 'Assim diz o Senhor Yahweh: Tu eras o modelo da perfeição, cheio de sabedoria e perfeito em formosura. BSB BSB: “Son of man, take up a lament for the king of Tyre and tell him that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 ULB Estavas no Éden, o jardim de Deus. Toda pedra preciosa te cobria: rubi, topázio, esmeralda, crisólito, ônix, jaspe, safira, turquesa e berilo. Suas guarnições e montagens eram feitas de ouro e foram preparados no dia em que foste criado. BSB BSB: You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every kind of precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald. Your mountings and settings were crafted in gold, prepared on the day of your creation.
14 ULB Eu te coloquei no monte santo de Deus como querubim ungido para guardar a humanidade. Estavas no meio de pedras brilhantes e nelas andavas. BSB BSB: You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for I had ordained you. You were on the holy mountain of God; you walked among the fiery stones.
15 ULB Eras íntegro em teus caminhos, desde o dia em que foste criado até que se achou injustiça em ti. BSB BSB: From the day you were created you were blameless in your ways—until wickedness was found in you.
16 ULB Por meio da grandeza do teu comércio, tu te encheste de violência e pecaste. Portanto, Eu te expulsei do monte de Deus, como um que se contaminou e te destruí, querubim da guarda, e te expulsei do meio das pedras brilhantes. BSB BSB: By the vastness of your trade, you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mountain of God, and I banished you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones.
17 ULB Teu coração foi arrogante por causa da tua formosura; arruinaste a tua sabedoria por causa do teu esplendor. Eu te lancei por terra. Eu te coloquei diante dos reis para que possam te ver. BSB BSB: Your heart grew proud of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor; so I cast you to the earth; I made you a spectacle before kings.
18 ULB Por causa dos teus muitos pecados e desonestidade no comércio, profanaste os teus santuários. Por causa disso, fiz sair fogo de ti; que te consumirá. Eu te tornarei cinza na Terra à vista de todos. BSB BSB: By the multitude of your iniquities and the dishonesty of your trading you have profaned your sanctuaries. So I made fire come from within you, and it consumed you. I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the eyes of all who saw you.
19 ULB Todos os que te conhecem se espantarão; ficarão chocados e tu não mais existirás'". BSB BSB: All the nations who know you are appalled over you. You have come to a horrible end and will be no more.’”
20 ULB Então, veio a mim a palavra de Yahweh, dizendo: BSB BSB: Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
21 ULB “Filho do homem, profetiza contra Sidom. BSB BSB: “Son of man, set your face against Sidon and prophesy against her.
22 ULB Dize-lhe: 'Assim diz o Senhor Yahweh: Eis que Eu sou contra ti, Sidom! Para que Eu seja glorificado no meio de ti e teu povo saiba que Eu sou Yahweh, quando executar justiça e demonstrar a Minha santidade no meio de ti. BSB BSB: And you are to declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I am against you, O Sidon, and I will be glorified within you. They will know that I am the LORD when I execute judgments against her and demonstrate My holiness through her.
23 ULB Enviarei sobre ti uma praga, sangue em tuas ruas e os mortos cairão no meio de ti. Quando a espada vier contra ti por todos os lados, saberás que Eu sou Yahweh. BSB BSB: I will send a plague against her and shed blood in her streets; the slain will fall within her, while the sword is against her on every side. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
24 ULB Então, não haverá mais espinhos pontiagudos e abrolhos que causem dor à casa de Israel entre os povos que a rodeiam e a desprezam, pois saberão que Eu sou o Senhor Yahweh!'. BSB BSB: For the people of Israel will no longer face a pricking brier or a painful thorn from all around them who treat them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the Lord GOD.’
25 ULB Assim diz o Senhor Yahweh: 'Quando Eu juntar a casa de Israel dentre os povos nos quais foram espalhados e, quando Me santificar no meio deles, diante das nações, eles edificarão as suas casas na terra que darei ao Meu servo Jacó. BSB BSB: This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they have been scattered, I will show Myself holy among them in the sight of the nations. Then they will dwell in their own land, which I have given to My servant Jacob.
26 ULB Então, habitarão seguros nela e edificarão casas, plantarão vinhas e viverão seguros quando Eu executar a justiça em todos aqueles ao seu redor que a desprezaram; e eles saberão que Eu sou Yahweh, o seu Deus!'". BSB BSB: And there they will dwell securely, build houses, and plant vineyards. They will dwell securely when I execute judgments against all those around them who treat them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God.’”
