1 ULB No décimo ano, no décimo mês, no dia doze, a palavra de Yahweh veio a mim, dizendo: BSB BSB: In the tenth year, on the twelfth day of the tenth month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 ULB "Filho do homem, dirige o teu rosto contra Faraó, o rei do Egito; profetiza contra ele e contra todo o Egito, BSB BSB: “Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.
3 ULB dizendo: 'O Senhor Yahweh diz: Vê, estou contra ti, Faraó, rei do Egito. Tu, grande monstro, que vives no meio do rio, que dizes: 'o meu rio é somente para mim, eu o fiz para mim mesmo'. BSB BSB: Speak to him and tell him that this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against you, O Pharaoh king of Egypt, O great monster who lies among his rivers, who says, ‘The Nile is mine; I made it myself.’
4 ULB Mas Eu colocarei anzóis no teu queixo e o peixe do teu Nilo pegará nas tuas escamas; Eu te tirarei do meio do teu rio, juntamente com todos os peixes que pegaram nas tuas escamas. BSB BSB: But I will put hooks in your jaws and cause the fish of your streams to cling to your scales. I will haul you up out of your rivers, and all the fish of your streams will cling to your scales.
5 ULB Eu te lançarei para um lugar selvagem, tu e todos os peixes do teu rio. Tu cairás na terra vazia; não será recolhido ou levantado. Entregar-te-ei como alimento para animais da Terra e para as aves dos céus. BSB BSB: I will leave you in the desert, you and all the fish of your streams. You will fall on the open field and will not be taken away or gathered for burial. I have given you as food to the beasts of the earth and the birds of the air.
6 ULB Então, todos os moradores do Egito saberão que Eu sou Yahweh, porque eles têm sido um bordão de cana para a casa de Israel. BSB BSB: Then all the people of Egypt will know that I am the LORD. For you were only a staff of reeds to the house of Israel.
7 ULB Quando eles te tomaram nas mãos, tu te quebraste e rasgaste os ombros deles; e, quando eles encostaram em ti, tu foste quebrado, mas fizeste as pernas deles ficarem instáveis. BSB BSB: When Israel took hold of you with their hands, you splintered, tearing all their shoulders; when they leaned on you, you broke, and their backs were wrenched.
8 ULB Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Yahweh: Vê! Eu trarei a espada contra ti. Eliminarei de ti tanto homem como animal. BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: I will bring a sword against you and cut off from you man and beast.
9 ULB E a terra do Egito se tornará vazia e em ruína. E eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh, porque o monstro do mar havia falado: 'O rio é meu, porque eu o fiz'. BSB BSB: The land of Egypt will become a desolate wasteland. Then they will know that I am the LORD. Because you said, ‘The Nile is mine; I made it,’
10 ULB Portanto, vê! Estou contra ti e o teu rio e entregarei a terra do Egito para desolação e perda, e se tornará um deserto, desde Migdol até Sevene e as fronteiras da Etiópia. BSB BSB: therefore I am against you and against your rivers. I will turn the land of Egypt into a ruin, a desolate wasteland from Migdol to Syene, and as far as the border of Cush.
11 ULB Nenhum pé de homem passará por ela e nem pé de animal passará por ela. Não será habitada durante quarenta anos. BSB BSB: No foot of man or beast will pass through, and it will be uninhabited for forty years.
12 ULB Porque Eu tornarei a terra do Egito em desolação no meio das terras não habitadas e as suas cidades serão desoladas por quarenta anos no meio das cidades arruinadas; e espalharei os egípcios entre das nações e os dispersarei pelas terras. BSB BSB: I will make the land of Egypt a desolation among desolate lands, and her cities will lie desolate for forty years among the ruined cities. And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them throughout the countries.
13 ULB Porque assim diz o Senhor Yahweh: No fim de quarenta anos, juntarei o Egito no meio dos povos entre os quais fora espalhado. BSB BSB: For this is what the Lord GOD says: At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the nations to which they were scattered.
14 ULB Eu restaurarei as fortunas do Egito e os trarei de volta para a região de Patros, para suas terras de origem. E, ali, serão um reino humilde. BSB BSB: I will restore Egypt from captivity and bring them back to the land of Pathros, the land of their origin. There they will be a lowly kingdom.
15 ULB Será o mais humilde entre os reinos e não será mais levantado entre as nações. Eu os diminuirei para que não mais governem sobre as nações. BSB BSB: Egypt will be the lowliest of kingdoms and will never again exalt itself above the nations. For I will diminish Egypt so that it will never again rule over the nations.

17 ULB Isso aconteceu no ano vinte e sete, no primeiro dia do primeiro mês, quando a palavra de Yahweh veio a mim, dizendo: BSB BSB: In the twenty-seventh year, on the first day of the first month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
18 ULB "Filho do homem, Nabucodonosor, o rei da Babilônia, enviou o seu exército num trabalho duro contra Tiro. Toda cabeça se gastou até ficar calva e todo ombro esfolou a pele. Ele e o seu exército não tiveram nenhum benefício pelo trabalho árduo que fizeram contra Tiro. BSB BSB: “Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to labor strenuously against Tyre. Every head was made bald and every shoulder made raw. But he and his army received no wages from Tyre for the labor they expended on it.
19 ULB Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Yahweh: 'Vê! Darei a terra do Egito a Nabucodonosor, o rei da Babilônia, e ele tirará a sua riqueza, roubará suas possessões, e levará tudo o que ele encontrar ali; essa será a recompensa para seu exército. BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who will carry off its wealth, seize its spoil, and remove its plunder. This will be the wages for his army.
20 ULB Eu lhe dei a terra do Egito como a recompensa do trabalho que ele prestou para Mim— esta é a declaração do Senhor Yahweh. BSB BSB: I have given him the land of Egypt as the reward for his labor, because it was done for Me, declares the Lord GOD.
21 ULB Neste dia, Eu farei brotar um chifre da casa de Israel; Eu farei com que tu fales no meio deles e eles saberão que sou Yahweh'". BSB BSB: In that day I will cause a horn to sprout for the house of Israel, and I will open your mouth to speak among them. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
