1 ULB A mão de Yahweh estava sobre mim, ele me levou pelo Espírito de Yahweh e me colocou no meio de um vale; estava cheio de ossos. BSB BSB: The hand of the LORD was upon me, and He brought me out by His Spirit and set me down in the middle of the valley, and it was full of bones.
2 ULB Depois, Ele me fez passar ao redor deles. Eis que eram muitos no grande vale. E estavam sequíssimos. BSB BSB: He led me all around among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, and indeed, they were very dry.
3 ULB Ele me disse: "Filho do homem, poderão estes ossos voltar a viver?". E eu disse: "Senhor Yahweh, só tu o sabes". BSB BSB: Then He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones come to life?” “O Lord GOD,” I replied, “only You know.”
4 ULB Então, Ele me disse: "Profetiza sobre estes ossos e dize-lhes: 'Ossos secos, ouvi a palavra de Yahweh. BSB BSB: And He said to me, “Prophesy concerning these bones and tell them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!
5 ULB Assim diz o Senhor Yahweh a estes ossos: Eis que porei fôlego em vós e vivereis. BSB BSB: This is what the Lord GOD says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will come to life.
6 ULB Colocarei tendões sobre vós e porei carne. Revestir-vos-ei de pele e porei em vós o espírito, para que vivais. Então, sabereis que Eu sou Yahweh'". BSB BSB: I will attach tendons to you and make flesh grow upon you and cover you with skin. I will put breath within you so that you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”
7 ULB Assim, profetizei como me fora ordenado; enquanto profetizava, eis que ouve um ruído, como de alguma coisa se mexendo. Depois, os ossos se ajuntaram— osso com osso. BSB BSB: So I prophesied as I had been commanded. And as I prophesied, there was suddenly a noise, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
8 ULB Olhei e eis que tendões já estavam neles; a carne apareceu-lhes e pele lhes cobriu; mas ainda não havia neles o fôlego. BSB BSB: As I looked on, tendons appeared on them, flesh grew, and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them.
9 ULB Então, Yahweh me disse: "Profetiza ao fôlego, profetiza, filho do homem, e diz ao espírito: 'Assim diz o Senhor Yahweh: Fôlego, vem dos quatro ventos e assopra nestes mortos, para que possam viver'". BSB BSB: Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and tell the breath that this is what the Lord GOD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, so that they may live!”
10 ULB Assim, profetizei como me fora ordenado; o fôlego entrou neles e viveram. Então, ficaram de pé, um exército muito numeroso. BSB BSB: So I prophesied as He had commanded me, and the breath entered them, and they came to life and stood on their feet—a vast army.
11 ULB Depois, Yahweh me disse: "Filho do homem, estes ossos são toda a casa de Israel. Eis que estão dizendo: 'Nossos ossos secaram, foi-se a nossa esperança. Fomos derrubados'. BSB BSB: Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look, they are saying, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope has perished; we are cut off.’
13 ULB Depois, sabereis que Eu sou Yahweh, quando abrir as vossas sepulturas e vos tirar delas, Meu povo. BSB BSB: Then you, My people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.
14 ULB Porei o Meu Espírito em vós e vivereis, e vos farei descansar na vossa terra, e sabereis que Eu sou Yahweh. Assim declaro e assim farei— esta é a declaração de Yahweh'". BSB BSB: I will put My Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it, declares the LORD.’”
15 ULB Então, a palavra de Yahweh veio a mim, dizendo: BSB BSB: Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
16 ULB "Agora, pois, pega num pedaço de madeira e escreva nele: 'Para Judá e para todo o povo de Israel, seus companheiros'. Depois, toma outro pedaço de madeira e escreve nele: 'Para José, ramo de Efraim, e para todo o povo de Israel, seus companheiros'. BSB BSB: “And you, son of man, take a single stick and write on it: ‘Belonging to Judah and to the Israelites associated with him.’ Then take another stick and write on it: ‘Belonging to Joseph—the stick of Ephraim—and to all the house of Israel associated with him.’
17 ULB Junta ambos num só pedaço de madeira, para que se tornem um só em tua mão. BSB BSB: Then join them together into one stick, so that they become one in your hand.
18 ULB Quando o seu povo falar a ti e disser: 'Não nos revelarás o que estas coisas significam?' BSB BSB: When your people ask you, ‘Won’t you explain to us what you mean by these?’
19 ULB então, dize-lhes: 'Assim diz o Senhor Yahweh: Eis que estou levando o ramo de José, que está na mão de Efraim, e as tribos de Israel, seus companheiros, e os ajuntando ao ramo de Judá, para que se tornem um só ramo, e se tornarão um só em Minha mão'. BSB BSB: you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel associated with him, and I will put them together with the stick of Judah. I will make them into a single stick, and they will become one in My hand.’
20 ULB Segura, na tua mão, os ramos em que escreveste diante dos seus olhos. BSB BSB: When the sticks on which you write are in your hand and in full view of the people,
21 ULB Declara a eles: 'Assim diz o Senhor Yahweh: Eis que estou prestes a tirar o povo de Israel dentre as nações aonde foram; Eu os ajuntarei de todas as terras em derredor e os trarei para sua terra. BSB BSB: you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take the Israelites out of the nations to which they have gone, and I will gather them from all around and bring them into their own land.
22 ULB Farei deles uma só nação na terra, nos montes de Israel, e haverá um só rei, será rei sobre todos eles, e não mais serão duas nações. Não mais estarão divididos em dois reinos. BSB BSB: I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will rule over all of them. Then they will no longer be two nations and will never again be divided into two kingdoms.
23 ULB Então, não mais se profanarão com os seus ídolos, nem com suas coisas abomináveis, nem com outros pecados. Porquanto os livrarei de todas as suas ações de incredulidade com as quais pecaram, e os purificarei, então, serão Meu povo e Eu serei seu Deus. BSB BSB: They will no longer defile themselves with their idols or detestable images, or with any of their transgressions. I will save them from all their apostasies by which they sinned, and I will cleanse them. Then they will be My people, and I will be their God.
24 ULB Davi, meu servo, reinará sobre eles. Então, haverá um só pastor sobre eles e andarão segundo os Meus decretos e guardarão os meus estatutos e os obedecerão. BSB BSB: My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow My ordinances and keep and observe My statutes.
25 ULB Viverão na terra que dei ao meu servo Jacó, onde os seus pais habitaram. Nela viverão para sempre, eles, seus filhos e seus netos, porque Davi, meu servo, será seu líder para sempre. BSB BSB: They will live in the land that I gave to My servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They will live there forever with their children and grandchildren, and My servant David will be their prince forever.
26 ULB Estabelecerei um acordo de paz com eles. Será um acordo eterno com eles. Irei estabelecê-los e os multiplicarei e colocarei o Meu santo lugar no meio deles para sempre. BSB BSB: And I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary among them forever.
27 ULB A Minha habitação será com eles; serei seu Deus, e eles serão Meu povo. BSB BSB: My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be My people.
28 ULB Então, as nações saberão que Eu sou Yahweh que santifico Israel, quando o Meu santo lugar estiver no meio deles'". BSB BSB: Then the nations will know that I the LORD sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is among them forever.’”
