Eis que trago uma espada contra vós e destruirei os vossos altares nas colinas. BSB BSB: You are to say: ‘O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD! This is what the Lord GOD says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: I am about to bring a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places.
4 ULB Então, vossos altares serão desolados e os altares de incenso serão destruídos; destroçarei os vossos mortos diante de seus ídolos. BSB BSB: Your altars will be demolished and your incense altars will be smashed; and I will cast down your slain before your idols.
5 ULB Lançarei os mortos de Israel diante de seus ídolos e espalharei vossos ossos em redor de vossos altares. BSB BSB: I will lay the corpses of the Israelites before their idols and scatter your bones around your altars.
6 ULB Em todo lugar onde viverem, cidades serão destruídas e os altares das colinas serão arruinados, de tal modo que vossos altares serão destruídos e desolados. Depois, vossos ídolos serão quebrados e desaparecerão, vossos altares de incenso serão cortados e vossas obras serão desfeitas. BSB BSB: Wherever you live, the cities will be laid waste and the high places will be demolished, so that your altars will be laid waste and desecrated, your idols smashed and obliterated, your incense altars cut down, and your works blotted out.
7 ULB Os mortos cairão no vosso meio e sabereis que Eu sou Yahweh. BSB BSB: The slain will fall among you, and you will know that I am the LORD.
8 ULB Mas preservarei o remanescente dentre vós e haverá alguns que escaparão da espada dentre as nações, quando fordes espalhados por entre os países. BSB BSB: Yet I will leave a remnant, for some of you will escape the sword when you are scattered among the nations and throughout the lands.
9 ULB Então, os que escaparem pensarão em Mim nas nações onde serão postos em cativeiro, que fiquei entristecido pelos seus corações imorais que se desviaram de Mim e pelos seus olhos que se prostituíram seguindo seus ídolos. BSB BSB: Then in the nations to which they have been carried captive, your survivors will remember Me—how I have been grieved by their adulterous hearts that turned away from Me, and by their eyes that lusted after idols. So they will loathe themselves for the evil they have done and for all their abominations.
10 ULB Assim, saberão que Eu sou Yahweh. Foi por esta razão que Eu disse que lhes traria este mal. BSB BSB: And they will know that I am the LORD; I did not declare in vain that I would bring this calamity upon them.
11 ULB Assim diz o Senhor Yahweh: Bate com as mãos e com os pés. E dize: 'Ah!', por causa de todas as abominações malignas da casa de Israel, porque cairão pela espada, fome e praga. BSB BSB: This is what the Lord GOD says: Clap your hands, stomp your feet, and cry out “Alas!” because of all the wicked abominations of the house of Israel, who will fall by sword and famine and plague.
12 ULB O que estiver longe morrerá pela praga e o que estiver perto morrerá pela espada. O remanescente que for poupado morrerá pela fome. Dessa forma, cumprirei a Minha fúria contra eles. BSB BSB: He who is far off will die by the plague, he who is near will fall by the sword, and he who remains will die by famine. So I will vent My fury upon them.
13 ULB Então, sabereis que Eu sou Yahweh, quando os seus mortos estiverem estendidos no meio dos seus ídolos, em redor dos seus altares, em toda montanha alta, em todos os picos dos montes e debaixo de toda a árvore viçosa e carvalho frondoso, os lugares onde queimaram incensos a todos os seus ídolos. BSB BSB: Then you will know that I am the LORD, when their slain lie among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, on all the mountaintops, and under every green tree and leafy oak—the places where they offered fragrant incense to all their idols.
14 ULB Estenderei a mão contra eles e deixarei a terra desolada e destruída, do deserto a Dibla, em todos os lugares onde vivem. Então, eles saberão que Eu sou Yahweh".
