2 ULB Na casa de Meu Pai há muitas moradas; se não fosse assim, Eu vos teria dito, pois vou preparar-vos um lugar. BSB BSB: In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
3 ULB E, se Eu for e vos preparar lugar, virei outra vez, e vos receberei para Mim mesmo, para que onde Eu estiver, estejais vós também. BSB BSB: And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am.
4 ULB Vós sabeis o caminho para onde vou". BSB BSB: You know the way to the place where I am going.”
5 ULB Tomé disse a Jesus: "Senhor, não sabemos para onde vais. Como podemos saber o caminho?". BSB BSB: “Lord,” said Thomas, “we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?”
7 ULB Se vós tivésseis Me conhecido, teríeis conhecido também a Meu Pai; de agora em diante vós O conheceis e O tendes visto". BSB BSB: If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”
8 ULB Filipe disse a Jesus: "Senhor, mostra-nos o Pai, e isso será suficiente para nós". BSB BSB: Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”
10 ULB Não crês que Eu estou no Pai, e que o Pai está em Mim? As palavras que Eu vos digo, não as digo por Minha própria autoridade; em vez disso, é o Pai que vive em Mim faz as Suas obras. BSB BSB: Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works.
11 ULB Crede em Mim, que estou no Pai, e o Pai está em Mim; ou crede ao menos por causa das mesmas obras. BSB BSB: Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me—or at least believe on account of the works themselves.
12 ULB Em verdade, em verdade, vos digo, que aquele que crê em Mim, também fará as obras que Eu faço, e as fará maiores do que Eu faço, porque Eu vou para o Pai. BSB BSB: Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
13 ULB Tudo quanto pedirdes em Meu nome, Eu o farei, para que o Pai seja glorificado no Filho. BSB BSB: And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 ULB Se Me pedirdes qualquer coisa em Meu nome, Eu o farei. BSB BSB: If you ask Me for anything in My name, I will do it.
17 ULB o Espírito da verdade, O qual o mundo não pode receber, porque não O vê nem O conhece. Vós, no entanto, O conheceis, pois Ele habita convosco, e estará em vós. BSB BSB: the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.
18 ULB Eu não vos deixarei sozinhos; Eu voltarei para vós. BSB BSB: I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
19 ULB Dentro de pouco de tempo, o mundo não Me verá mais, mas vós Me vereis. Porque Eu vivo, vós também vivereis. BSB BSB: In a little while the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live.
20 ULB Naquele dia, vós sabereis que Eu estou em Meu Pai, e que vós estais em Mim, e Eu em vós. BSB BSB: On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.
21 ULB Aquele que tem os Meus mandamentos e os guarda, esse é o que Me ama; e aquele que Me ama será amado por Meu Pai, e Eu o amarei e Me manifestarei a Ele. BSB BSB: Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”
22 ULB Judas (não o Iscariotes) perguntou a Jesus: "Senhor, por que Te manifestarás a nós, e não ao mundo?". BSB BSB: Judas (not Iscariot) asked Him, “Lord, why are You going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”
24 ULB Quem não Me ama, não guarda as Minhas palavras. A palavra que ouvis não é Minha, mas do Pai que Me enviou. BSB BSB: Whoever does not love Me does not keep My words. The word that you hear is not My own, but it is from the Father who sent Me.
25 ULB Essas coisas vos tenho dito enquanto ainda estou convosco. BSB BSB: All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you.
29 ULB Eu vos digo isso agora, antes que aconteça, para que, quando acontecer, creiais. BSB BSB: And now I have told you before it happens, so that when it does happen, you will believe.
30 ULB Já não falarei convosco, pois o príncipe deste mundo está chegando, e ele não tem poder sobre Mim. BSB BSB: I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming, and he has no claim on Me.
31 ULB Mas, para que o mundo saiba que Eu amo o Pai, faço aquilo que o Pai Me mandou. Levantai-vos, vamos deixar este lugar". BSB BSB: But I do exactly what the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Get up! Let us go on from here.
