1 ULB "Eu sou a videira verdadeira, e meu Pai é o agricultor. BSB BSB: “I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard.
2 ULB Todo o ramo que está em Mim e não produz fruto, Ele o corta; e todo ramo que produz fruto, Ele o limpa, para que produza mais fruto. BSB BSB: He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful.
3 ULB Já estais limpos pela palavra que Eu vos tenho falado. BSB BSB: You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
4 ULB Permanecei em Mim, e Eu em vós. Como o ramo não pode dar fruto por si mesmo se não permanecer na videira, assim também não podeis vós, se não permanecerdes em Mim. BSB BSB: Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.
5 ULB Eu sou a videira, vós, os ramos. Aquele que permanece em Mim e Eu nele, esse dá muito fruto, pois sem Mim nada podeis fazer. BSB BSB: I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.
6 ULB Se alguém não permanecer em Mim, é lançado fora como um ramo, e seca; e esses ramos são recolhidos, jogados ao fogo e queimados. BSB BSB: If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned.
7 ULB Se permanecerdes em Mim, e Minhas palavras permanecerem em vós, pedireis o que quiserdes, e vos será concedido. BSB BSB: If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
8 ULB Meu Pai é glorificado nisto: em que deis muito fruto; e assim provais ser Meus discípulos. BSB BSB: This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples.
9 ULB Como o Pai Me amou, assim Eu também vos amei. Permanecei no Meu amor. BSB BSB: As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love.
10 ULB Se guardardes os Meus mandamentos, permanecereis no Meu amor; do mesmo modo que Eu tenho permanecido nos mandamentos de Meu Pai e no Seu amor permaneço. BSB BSB: If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.
11 ULB Eu vos tenho dito essas coisas para que a Minha alegria esteja em vós, e a vossa alegria seja plena. BSB BSB: I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
12 ULB Este é Meu mandamento: que vos ameis uns aos outros como Eu vos amei. BSB BSB: This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
13 ULB Ninguém tem maior amor do que aquele que dá a sua vida pelos seus amigos. BSB BSB: Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
14 ULB Vós sois Meus amigos se fizerdes o que Eu vos ordeno. BSB BSB: You are My friends if you do what I command you.
15 ULB Já não vos chamo de servos, porque o servo não sabe o que o Seu Senhor faz. Eu vos tenho chamado de amigos, pois vos revelei tudo quanto ouvi de Meu Pai. BSB BSB: No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you.
16 ULB Não fostes vós que Me escolhestes; mas Eu vos escolhi e vos designei para que vades e deis fruto, e que o vosso fruto permaneça, a fim de que o Pai vos conceda tudo quanto pedirdes em Meu Nome. BSB BSB: You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain—so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.
17 ULB Isto vos ordeno: amai-vos uns aos outros. BSB BSB: This is My command to you: Love one another.
18 ULB Se o mundo vos odeia, sabei que, antes de vós, ele odiou a Mim. BSB BSB: If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first.
19 ULB Se fôsseis do mundo, o mundo vos amaria como se pertencêsseis a ele; mas, porque vós não sois do mundo, e Eu escolhi tirar-vos do mundo, por esta razão o mundo vos odeia. BSB BSB: If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
20 ULB Lembrai-vos da Palavra que Eu vos disse: 'O servo não é maior que o Seu Senhor'. Se perseguiram a Mim, também perseguirão a vós; se obedeceram à Minha Palavra, obedecerão também à vossa. BSB BSB: Remember the word that I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they kept My word, they will keep yours as well.
21 ULB Eles farão todas essas coisas por causa do Meu Nome, pois não conhecem Aquele que Me enviou. BSB BSB: But they will treat you like this because of My name, since they do not know the One who sent Me.
22 ULB Se Eu não tivesse vindo e não tivesse lhes falado, não teriam pecado; mas agora não têm desculpa para os pecados deles. BSB BSB: If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.
23 ULB Aquele que Me odeia, também odeia a Meu Pai. BSB BSB: Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well.
24 ULB Se Eu não tivesse feito entre eles essas obras que nenhum outro fez, não teriam pecado. Mas agora viram e odiaram tanto a Mim como a Meu Pai. BSB BSB: If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.
25 ULB Isso acontece para que a palavra que está escrita na Lei deles se cumprisse: 'Odiaram a Mim sem motivo'. BSB BSB: But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated Me without reason.’
27 ULB E vós também testemunhareis, porque tendes estado Comigo desde o princípio. BSB BSB: And you also must testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
