2 ULB Eles vos expulsarão das sinagogas. De fato, está chegando a hora em que todo aquele que vos matar pensará que oferece um culto a Deus. BSB BSB: They will put you out of the synagogues. In fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God.

6 ULB Mas porque Eu vos disse essas coisas, a tristeza encheu o vosso coração. BSB BSB: Instead, your hearts are filled with sorrow because I have told you these things.
8 ULB Quando o Consolador vier, convencerá o mundo a respeito do pecado, da justiça e do juízo. BSB BSB: And when He comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:
9 ULB Do pecado, porque eles não creram em Mim; BSB BSB: in regard to sin, because they do not believe in Me;
10 ULB da justiça, porque Eu vou para o Pai, e vós não Me vereis mais; BSB BSB: in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me;
11 ULB e do juízo, porque o príncipe deste mundo já está julgado. BSB BSB: and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world has been condemned.
12 ULB Ainda tenho muitas coisas para vos dizer; mas não as entenderíeis agora. BSB BSB: I still have much to tell you, but you cannot yet bear to hear it.
14 ULB Ele Me glorificará, porque receberá do que é Meu, e vos anunciará. BSB BSB: He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.
15 ULB Tudo quanto o Pai tem é Meu; por isso, Eu disse que o Espírito receberá do que é Meu, e vos anunciará. BSB BSB: Everything that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will take from what is Mine and disclose it to you.
16 ULB Dentro de um pouco de tempo, vós não Me vereis; e depois de um pouco mais de tempo, de novo Me vereis”. BSB BSB: In a little while you will see Me no more, and then after a little while you will see Me.”
17 ULB Então, alguns dos Seus discípulos disseram uns aos outros: "O que é isto que Ele nos diz: 'Um pouco de tempo e vós não Me vereis', e ainda, 'Um pouco mais de tempo, e de novo Me vereis,' e, 'Porque Eu vou para o Pai'?". BSB BSB: A woman has pain in childbirth because her time has come; but when she brings forth her child, she forgets her anguish because of her joy that a child has been born into the world.
22 ULB Assim, também vós tendes tristeza agora, mas Eu vos verei novamente; e o vosso coração se alegrará, e ninguém poderá tirar vossa alegria. BSB BSB: So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
23 ULB Naquele dia, vós não Me perguntareis nada. Em verdade, em verdade, vos digo, se pedirdes qualquer coisa ao Pai em Meu nome, Ele vos dará. BSB BSB: In that day you will no longer ask Me anything. Truly, truly, I tell you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

26 ULB Naquele dia, vós pedireis em Meu nome, e Eu não vos digo que rogarei ao Pai por vós; BSB BSB: In that day you will ask in My name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf.
27 ULB pois o próprio Pai vos ama, porque tendes Me amado e crido que Eu vim do Pai. BSB BSB: For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from God.
28 ULB Eu vim do Pai para o mundo; novamente, Eu deixo o mundo e vou para o Pai". BSB BSB: I came from the Father and entered the world. In turn, I will leave the world and go to the Father.”
29 ULB Seus discípulos disseram: "Eis que agora falas claramente; e não usas comparações. BSB BSB: His disciples said, “See, now You are speaking plainly and without figures of speech.
30 ULB Agora sabemos que Tu conheces todas as coisas, e que não precisas que ninguém Te faça perguntas. Por causa disso, cremos que vieste de Deus. BSB BSB: Now we understand that You know all things and that You have no need for anyone to question You. Because of this, we believe that You came from God.”
31 ULB Jesus lhes respondeu: "Agora, credes?. BSB BSB: “Do you finally believe?” Jesus replied.
32 ULB Eis que vem a hora, e de fato já chegou, em que vós sereis espalhados cada um para vossas próprias casas, e Me deixareis sozinho. Mas não estou sozinho, porque o Pai está comigo. BSB BSB: “Look, an hour is coming and has already come when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and you will leave Me all alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
33 ULB Eu vos disse essas coisas para que tenhais paz em Mim. No mundo tereis aflições, mas tende coragem; Eu venci o mundo". BSB BSB: I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!”
