2 ULB Então vi os sete anjos que estão em pé diante de Deus, e lhes foram dadas sete trombetas. BSB BSB: And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and they were given seven trumpets.
3 ULB E outro anjo veio segurando um incensário de ouro e ficou em pé junto ao altar. Muito incenso foi-lhe dado para que oferecesse com as orações de todos os santos, sobre o altar dourado diante do trono. BSB BSB: Then another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne.
4 ULB E da mão do anjo subiu, diante de Deus, a fumaça do incenso juntamente com as orações dos santos. BSB BSB: And the smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, rose up before God from the hand of the angel.
5 ULB O anjo tomou depois o incensário e o encheu com fogo do altar e o jogou na terra; e houve trovões, clamores, relâmpagos e um terremoto. BSB BSB: Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it to the earth; and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
6 ULB E os sete anjos que tinham as sete trombetas prepararam-se para tocá-las. BSB BSB: And the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.
7 ULB O primeiro anjo tocou a sua trombeta, e houve na terra granizo e fogo misturados com sangue: uma terça parte da terra foi queimada, a terça parte das árvores foi queimada, e toda erva verde foi queimada. BSB BSB: Then the first angel sounded his trumpet, and hail and fire mixed with blood were hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, along with a third of the trees and all the green grass.
8 ULB O segundo anjo tocou a trombeta, e algo como uma grande montanha ardendo em chamas foi lançado ao mar. E a terça parte do mar se tornou sangue, BSB BSB: Then the second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned to blood,
9 ULB e a terça parte dos seres vivos no mar morreu, e a terça parte das embarcações foi destruída. BSB BSB: a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 ULB E o terceiro anjo tocou a trombeta, e uma grande estrela caiu do céu, queimando como uma tocha, sobre uma terça parte dos rios e das fontes de água. BSB BSB: Then the third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star burning like a torch fell from heaven and landed on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.
11 ULB O nome da estrela é Absinto. A terça parte das águas se tornou em absinto, e muitas pessoas morreram por causa das águas que se tornaram amargas. BSB BSB: The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter like wormwood oil, and many people died from the bitter waters.
12 ULB O quarto anjo tocou a sua trombeta, e a terça parte do sol foi ferida, bem como a terça parte da lua e a terça parte das estrelas. Assim a terça parte deles se tornou escura; a terça parte, tanto do dia como da noite, não brilharam. BSB BSB: Then the fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun and moon and stars were struck. A third of the stars were darkened, a third of the day was without light, and a third of the night as well.
13 ULB E vi e ouvi uma águia voando no meio do céu, clamando em alta voz: "Ai, ai, ai daqueles que habitam na terra, por causa dos toques restantes de trombeta que ainda estão para ser soados pelos três anjos". BSB BSB: And as I observed, I heard an eagle flying overhead, calling in a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the remaining three angels!”
