1И при наступлении дня Пятидесятницы, все они были вместе в том же месте.When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

2И внезапно раздался шум с неба, словно несущегося сильного ветра, и наполнил весь дом, где они находились.Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3И явились им языки, разделяющиеся подобно огненным и остановились по одному на каждом из них.They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

4И все наполнились Духом Святым и начали говорить на других языках как Дух давал им провозгласить.And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

5А в Иерусалиме проживали иудеи, люди благоговейные из каждого народа под небесами.Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.

6Когда произошел этот шум, собралось множество, и смутились, потому что каждый слышал их говорящих на родном языке.And when this sound rang out, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking his own language.

7Все же поражались и удивлялись, говоря:“Неужели все эти говорящие являются Галилеянами?Astounded and amazed, they asked, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans?

8Как же мы слышим каждый свое собственное наречие, в котором родились?How is it then that each of us hears them in his own native language?

9Парфяне и мидяне, и эламиты, и жители Месопотамии, Иудеи, а также Кападокии, Понта и Асии,Parthians, Medes, and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,

10Фригии, а также Памфилии, Египта и частей Ливии, которые у Киринеи и пришедшие римляне,Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome,

11иудеи, а также прозелиты, критяне и аравитяне– мы слышим их, говорящих на наших языках о великих Божьих делах!”both Jews and converts to Judaism; Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”

12И все удивлялись и недоумевали, говоря друг другу:“Как это может быть?”Astounded and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

13А другие, издеваясь, говорили, что:“Они напились сладкого вина”.But others mocked them and said, “They are drunk on new wine!”

14Пётр же, встав с одиннадцатью, возвысил свой голос и объявил им:“Мужчины Иудеи, и все живущие в Иерусалиме! Пусть будет это вам известно, и вслушайтесь в мои слова!Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice, and addressed the crowd: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words.

15Потому что они не пьяны, как вы предполагаете, ведь сейчас третий час дня.These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day!

16Но это то, что сказано пророком Иоилем:No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17" И будет в последние дни,— говорит Бог,— изолью от Моего Духа на каждую плоть, и будут пророчествовать ваши сыновья и ваши дочери, а юноши ваши будут видеть видения и вашим старцам будут сниться сны.‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

18Также и на рабов Моих и на Моих рабынь в те дни изолью от Моего Духа– и они будут пророчествовать.Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

19И дам чудеса вверху на небе и знаки на земле внизу: кровь и огонь, и клубы дыма.I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

20Солнце превратится в тьму, и луна— в кровь, прежде чем наступит великий и славный день Господа.The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.

21И будет: каждый, кто бы ни призвал имя Господа, будет спасён".And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

22Мужчины Израиля! Услышьте эти слова: Иисуса Назарянина, мужа, отмеченного Богом для вас силами и чудесами, и знаками, которые Бог через Него сделал среди вас, как вы сами знаете,Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know.

23Его, преданного по определённому замыслу и предвидению Бога, вы убили, пригвоздив руками беззаконных.He was delivered up by God’s set plan and foreknowledge, and you, by the hands of the lawless, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross.

24Его Бог воскресил, разорвав цепи смерти, так как невозможно ей было удержать Его.But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep Him in its grip.

25Поэтому Давид говорит о Нём:" Я всегда видел перед собой Господа, потому что Он с правой стороны от меня, чтобы я не пошатнулся.David says about Him: ‘I saw the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

26От того моё сердце возрадовалось и ликует мой язык, и даже моя плоть найдёт покой в надежде,Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will dwell in hope,

27что Ты не оставишь мою душу в аду и не дашь Твоему святому увидеть тление.because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay.

28Ты поведал мне путь жизни. Ты наполнишь меня радостью перед Твоим лицом".You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.’

29Мужи братья! Позвольте смело сказать вам о патриархе Давиде, что он и скончался и похоронен, и гробница его находится у нас до этого дня.Brothers, I can tell you with confidence that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

30Однако, будучи пророком и зная, что клятвою поклялся ему Бог посадить на его престоле от плода бёдер его,But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that He would place one of his descendants on his throne.

31предвидя, он сказал о воскресении Христа, что Он не оставлен в аду, и плоть Его не увидела тления.Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay.

32Бог воскресил этого Иисуса, чему мы все являемся свидетелями.God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses.

33Итак, вознесённый правой рукой Бога, и приняв от Отца обещание Духа Святого, Он излил то, что вы и видите, и слышите.Exalted, then, to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

34Ведь Давид не восшёл на небеса, но он сам говорит:" Господь сказал моему Господину:" Сиди с правой стороны от Меня,For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand

35пока не положу Твоих врагов подножием ног Твоих".until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’

36Итак, твёрдо знай, весь дом Израиля, что Бог Его сделал и Господом, и Христом— этого Иисуса, Которого вы распяли”.Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!”

37Тогда они, услышав, были поражены в сердце и сказали Петру и остальным апостолам:“Что нам делать, мужи братья?”When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

38А Пётр им ответил:" Покайтесь, и пусть каждый из вас крестится во имя Иисуса Христа для прощения грехов ваших, и получите дар Святого Духа.Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39Потому что для вас это обещание и для детей ваших и для всех дальних, кого ни призовёт Господь, наш Бог”.This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off—to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself.”

40И многими другими словами он свидетельствовал и убеждал их, говоря:“Спасайтесь от этого извращённого поколения”.With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.”

41Между тем, те, кто принял его слово, были крещены. И прибавилось в тот день душ около трёх тысяч.Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day.

42И были они постоянно в учении апостолов и в общении, в преломлении хлеба и в молитвах.They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

43И был в каждой душе страх, и многие чудеса и знамения произошли через апостолов.A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.

44А все верующие были вместе, и имели всё общее.All the believers were together and had everything in common.

45И продавали имения и собственность, и разделяли это всем, в соответствии с нуждой, кто какую имел.Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.

46Каждый же день они постоянно были все вместе в храме, а также, преломляя хлеб по домам, принимали пищу в радости и простоте сердца,With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart,

47прославляя Бога и имея благоволение у всего народа. А Господь ежедневно прибавлял к этому спасаемых.praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
