1Пётр же и Иоанн поднимались в храм в час молитвы, в девятый час.One afternoon Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

2И был один человек, хромой от чрева матери его, которого каждый день приносили, сажали к воротам храма, называемым“Красивыми”, просить милостыню у входящих в храм,And a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those entering the temple courts.

3который увидев Петра и Иоанна, собирающихся войти в храм, стал просить, чтобы получить милостыню.When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.

4Пётр же, посмотрев пристально на него, вместе с Иоанном сказал:“Посмотри на нас”.Peter looked directly at him, as did John. “Look at us!” said Peter.

5Он же внимательно смотрел на них, надеясь что- нибудь от них получить.So the man gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

6Но Пётр сказал:“Серебра и золота у меня нет, а что имею, то даю тебе: во имя Иисуса Христа Назарянина ходи!”.But Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”

7И взяв его за правую руку, поднял его. Сразу же укрепились его ступни и лодыжки,Taking him by the right hand, Peter helped him up, and at once the man’s feet and ankles were made strong.

8и, вскочив, он встал и начал ходить и вошёл с ними в храм, расхаживая и подпрыгивая и прославляя Бога.He sprang to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and leaping and praising God.

9И весь народ видел его, ходящим и славящим Бога.When all the people saw him walking and praising God,

10И узнали его, что он был тот, который сидел у“Красивых” ворот храма для милостыни, и наполнились изумлением и восторгом от происшедшего с ним.they recognized him as the man who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

11И как он держался рядом с Петром и Иоанном, весь народ в изумлении сбежался к ним в галерею, называемую“Соломонова”.While the man clung to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and ran to them in the walkway called Solomon’s Colonnade.

12Увидев же, Пётр отвечал народу:“Мужи! Израильтяне! Почему вы удивляетесь этому? И что смотрите на нас, словно мы собственной силой или благочестием сделали так, что он ходит?And when Peter saw this, he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why are you surprised by this? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?

13Бог Авраама, и Бог Исаака и Бог Иакова, Бог наших отцов прославил Своего Слугу Иисуса, Которого же вы предали, и отказались перед лицом Пилата, полагавшего Его освободить.The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus. You handed Him over and rejected Him before Pilate, even though he had decided to release Him.

14Но вы отреклись от Святого и Праведного и выпросили даровать себе человека убийцу.You rejected the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.

15а Основателя жизни убили, Которого Бог воскресил из мёртвых, чему мы являемся свидетелями.You killed the Author of life, but God raised Him from the dead, and we are witnesses of this fact.

16И по вере в Его имя, имя Его укрепило этого, которого вы видите и знаете. И вера, которая через Него, подарила ему это полное исцеление перед всеми вами.By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know has been made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through Him that has given him this complete healing in your presence.

17И теперь, братья, я знаю, что вы поступили по незнанию, так же как и ваши правители.And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.

18А Бог, как предвозвестил устами всех Своих пророков пострадать Помазаннику, так и исполнил.But in this way God has fulfilled what He foretold through all the prophets, saying that His Christ would suffer.

19Поэтому покайтесь и обратитесь, чтобы ваши грехи были стёрты.Repent, then, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away,

20И придут тогда от лица Господа времена восстановления сил, и Он послал предназначенного вам Христа Иисуса,that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you.

21которого небо должно было принять до времени восстановления всего, о чём говорил Бог от вечности через уста Своих святых пророков.Heaven must take Him in until the time comes for the restoration of all things, which God announced long ago through His holy prophets.

22Моисей ведь сказал:" Пророка поднимет вам Господь, Бог наш, из ваших братьев, как меня. Во всём, что Он ни скажет вам, Его слушайтесь.For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. You must listen to Him in everything He tells you.

23И будет: каждая душа, кто не послушает того Пророка, истребится из народа".Everyone who does not listen to Him will be completely cut off from among his people.’

24Да и все пророки, от Самуила и далее, все, кто говорил, также предсказывали эти дни.Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have proclaimed these days.

25Вы являетесь сыновьями пророков и завета, который Бог заключил с вашими отцами, говоря Аврааму:" и в семени твоём будут благословлены все семейства земли".And you are sons of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers when He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all the families of the earth will be blessed.’

26Бог, воскресив Своего Слугу, послал Его в первую очередь к вам, благословляя вас, чтобы отвернуть каждого от злых дел ваших”.When God raised up His Servant, He sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
