4 GLT This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting, the holy thing of the holy things. BSB BSB: This service of the Kohathites at the Tent of Meeting regards the most holy things.
5 GLT And Aaron and his sons shall come when the camp sets out, and they shall take down the curtain of the covering, and with it they shall cover the box of the testimony. The regular bread offering is to remain on it.
8 GLT And they shall spread on them a cloth of the worms of scarlet, and they shall cover it with a covering of the skin of the porpoise, and they shall place its poles. BSB BSB: And they shall spread a scarlet cloth over them, cover them with fine leather, and insert the poles.
9 GLT And they shall take a cloth of blue and cover the lampstand of the light source and its lamps and its snuffers and its trays and all the vessels of its oil with which they serve it. BSB BSB: They are to take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand used for light, together with its lamps, wick trimmers, and trays, as well as the jars of oil with which to supply it.
10 GLT And they shall put it and all its vessels into the covering of the skin of the porpoise, and they shall put it on the carrying bar. BSB BSB: Then they shall wrap it and all its utensils inside a covering of fine leather and put it on the carrying frame.
11 GLT And upon the altar of gold they shall spread a cloth of blue, and they shall cover it with a covering of the skin of the porpoise, and they shall place its poles. BSB BSB: Over the gold altar they are to spread a blue cloth, cover it with fine leather, and insert the poles.
12 GLT And they shall take all the implements of the service with which they serve in the holy place, and they shall put them into a cloth of blue. 16 GLT And the oversight of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, is the oil of the light source and the incense of the spices and the grain offering of the continuity and the oil of the anointment, the oversight of all the dwelling and all that is in it, with the holy place and with its implements.” BSB BSB: Eleazar son of Aaron the priest shall oversee the oil for the light, the fragrant incense, the daily grain offering, and the anointing oil. 18 GLT “Do not let the tribe of the clans of the Kohathite be cut off from the midst of the Levites. BSB BSB: “Do not allow the Kohathite tribal clans to be cut off from among the Levites.
19 GLT And do this for them, and they will live and not die when they approach the holiest holy thing: Aaron and his sons shall enter and place them man by man in accordance with his service and according to his load. BSB BSB: In order that they may live and not die when they come near the most holy things, do this for them: Aaron and his sons are to go in and assign each man his task and what he is to carry.
20 GLT And they shall not enter to look at the holy place like a gulp and die.” BSB BSB: But the Kohathites are not to go in and look at the holy objects, even for a moment, or they will die.”
21 GLT And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, BSB BSB: And the LORD said to Moses,

31 GLT And this is the duty of their load, according to all their service in the tent of meeting: the boards of the dwelling and its bars and its pillars and its bases BSB BSB: This is the duty for all their service at the Tent of Meeting: to carry the frames of the tabernacle with its crossbars, posts, and bases,
32 GLT and the pillars of the courtyard all around and their bases and their pegs and their ropes, for all their implements and for all their work; and by names you shall appoint the implements of the duty of their load. BSB BSB: and the posts of the surrounding courtyard with their bases, tent pegs, and ropes, including all their equipment and everything related to their use. You shall assign by name the items that they are responsible to carry.
