1. 1ROBКаждый, кто верит, что Иисус— это Христос, рождён от Бога, и каждый, кто любит Родившего, любит и Рождённого от Него.BSBBSB: Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves those born of Him.
2. 2ROBКак мы узнаём, что любим Божьих детей? Из того, что любим Бога и исполняем Его заповеди.BSBBSB: By this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God and keep His commandments.
3. 3ROBЭто и есть любовь к Богу, когда мы исполняем Его заповеди. А Его заповеди не тяжелы.BSBBSB: For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome,
4. 4ROBВедь каждый, кто рождён от Бога, побеждает мир, и эта победа над миром одержана нашей верой.BSBBSB: because everyone born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
5. 5ROBКто побеждает мир, как не тот, кто верит, что Иисус— это Божий Сын?BSBBSB: Who then overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
6. 6ROBЭто тот Иисус Христос, который пришёл через воду и кровь. Не только через воду, но воду и кровь. И Дух свидетельствует о Нём. А Дух— это истина.BSBBSB: This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ—not by water alone, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies to this, because the Spirit is the truth.

   7ROBИтак, на небе свидетельствуют трое: Отец, Слово и Святой Дух. И эти трое едины.BSBBSB: For there are three that testify:
8. 8ROBИ три свидетельствуют на земле: Дух, вода и кровь. И эти три свидетельствуют об одном.BSBBSB: the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and these three are in agreement.
9. 9ROBЕсли мы принимаем свидетельство от людей, то свидетельство Бога значительнее. Этим свидетельством Бог засвидетельствовал о Своём Сыне.BSBBSB: Even if we accept human testimony, the testimony of God is greater. For this is the testimony that God has given about His Son.
10. 10ROBТот, кто верит в Божьего Сына, внутри себя имеет это свидетельство. А кто не верит Богу, тот делает из Него лжеца, потому что не верит в свидетельство, которым Бог засвидетельствовал о Своём Сыне.BSBBSB: Whoever believes in the Son of God has this testimony within him; whoever does not believe God has made Him out to be a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given about His Son.
11. 11ROBЭто свидетельство о том, что Бог подарил нам вечную жизнь, и эта жизнь— в Его Сыне.BSBBSB: And this is that testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
12. 12ROBУ кого есть Божий Сын, у того есть жизнь. У кого нет Божьего Сына, у того нет жизни.BSBBSB: Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
13. 13ROBЯ написал это вам, тем, кто верит в имя Божьего Сына, чтобы вы знали, что, когда верите в Божьего Сына, у вас есть вечная жизнь.BSBBSB: I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
14. 14ROBИ вот какая уверенность у нас есть перед Ним: когда мы просим что-нибудь по Его воле, Он слушает нас.BSBBSB: And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
15. 15ROBА если мы знаем, что Он слушает нас, когда мы о чём-то просим, знаем и то, что мы уже имеем всё, что просим у Него.BSBBSB: And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him.
16. 16ROBЕсли кто-то видит, что его брат совершает грех, который не ведёт к смерти, то пусть молится за него. И Бог даст жизнь тому, кто совершает грех, который не ведёт к смерти. Но есть грех, который ведёт к смерти: я не говорю, что нужно молиться об этом.BSBBSB: If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he should ask God, who will give life to those who commit this kind of sin. There is a sin that leads to death; I am not saying he should ask regarding that sin.
17. 17ROBЛюбой неправедный поступок— это грех, но не каждый грех ведёт к смерти.BSBBSB: All unrighteousness is sin, yet there is sin that does not lead to death.
18. 18ROBМы знаем, что каждый, кто рождён от Бога, не совершает грех. Божий Сын оберегает его, и лукавый не прикасается к нему.BSBBSB: We know that anyone born of God does not keep on sinning; the One who was born of God protects him, and the evil one cannot touch him.
19. 19ROBМы знаем, что мы от Бога, и что весь мир лежит во зле.BSBBSB: We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one.
20. 20ROBТакже мы знаем, что Божий Сын пришёл и дал нам понимание, чтобы мы знали истинного Бога и чтобы находились в Его истинном Сыне Иисусе Христе. Он— истинный Бог и вечная жизнь.BSBBSB: And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
21. 21ROBДети! Берегите себя от идолов. Аминь.BSBBSB: Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
