1Царь Соломон был царём над всем Израилем.So King Solomon ruled over Israel,

4Ванея, сын Иодая- военачальник; Садок и Авиафар– священники;Benaiah son of Jehoiada was in charge of the army; Zadok and Abiathar were priests;

5Азария, сын Нафана- начальник над приставниками, и Завуф, сын Нафана священника– друг царя;Azariah son of Nathan was in charge of the governors; Zabud son of Nathan was a priest and adviser to the king;

6Ахисар– начальник над царским домом, и Адонирам, сын Авды, смотрел за подневольными работниками.Ahishar was in charge of the palace; and Adoniram son of Abda was in charge of the forced labor.

7У Соломона было двенадцать приставников над всем Израилем. Они доставляли царю и его дому продовольствие. Каждый из них должен был доставлять продовольствие на один месяц в году.Solomon had twelve governors over all Israel to provide food for the king and his household. Each one would arrange provisions for one month of the year,

11Бен-Авинадав– над всем Нафаф-Дором- его женой была Тафафь, дочь Соломона;Ben-abinadab in Naphath-dor (Taphath, a daughter of Solomon, was his wife);

12Ваана, сын Ахилуда- в Фаанахе, Мегиддо и во всём Беф-Сане, который рядом с Цартаном, ниже Иезрееля, от Беф-Сана до Абел-Мехола, и даже за Иокмеам;Baana son of Ahilud in Taanach, in Megiddo, and in all of Beth-shean next to Zarethan below Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah and on past Jokmeam;

16Ваана, сын Хушая- в земле Асира и Баалофе;Baana son of Hushai in Asher and in Aloth;

17Иосафат, сын Паруаха- в земле Иссахара;Jehoshaphat son of Paruah in Issachar;

18Шимей, сын Елы- в земле Вениамина;Shimei son of Ela in Benjamin;

19Гевер, сын Урии- в земле Галаад, в земле аморрейского царя Сигона и васанского царя Ога- он был приставным в этой земле.Geber son of Uri in the land of Gilead, including the territories of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan. There was also one governor in the land of Judah.

20Иуда и Израиль, многочисленные, как песок на морском берегу, ели, пили и веселились.The people of Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand on the seashore, and they were eating and drinking and rejoicing.

21Соломон владел всеми царствами от реки Евфрат до филистимской земли и до границ Египта. Они приносили дары и служили Соломону в течение всей его жизни.And Solomon reigned over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These kingdoms offered tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.

23десять откормленных волов, двадцать волов с пастбища, сто овец, кроме оленей, серн, сайгаков и откормленных птиц.ten fat oxen, twenty range oxen, and a hundred sheep, as well as deer, gazelles, roebucks, and fattened poultry.

24Потому что он правил над всеми царями, всей землёй по эту сторону реки от Типсаха до Газы. И был у него мир со всеми окрестными странами.For Solomon had dominion over everything west of the Euphrates—over all the kingdoms from Tiphsah to Gaza—and he had peace on all sides.

25Во все дни Соломона Иуда и Израиль жили спокойно от Дана до Вирсавии, каждый под своим виноградником и смоковницей.Throughout the days of Solomon, Judah and Israel dwelt securely from Dan to Beersheba, each man under his own vine and his own fig tree.

26У Соломона было сорок тысяч стойл для колесничных коней и двенадцать тысяч для конницы.Solomon had 4,000 stalls for his chariot horses and 12,000 horses.

27Приставники, каждый в свой месяц, доставляли все продовольствия к столу царя Соломона и не допускали, чтобы ни в чём не было недостатка.Each month the governors in turn provided food for King Solomon and all who came to his table. They saw to it that nothing was lacking.

28Каждый из них в свою очередь доставлял на место, где находился царь, ячмень и солому для коней и мулов.Each one also brought to the required place their quotas of barley and straw for the chariot horses and other horses.

29Бог дал Соломону мудрость, великий разум и обширный ум, как песок на морском берегу.And God gave Solomon wisdom, exceedingly deep insight, and understanding beyond measure, like the sand on the seashore.

30Мудрость Соломона была выше мудрости всех сыновей востока и всей мудрости египтян.Solomon’s wisdom was greater than that of all the men of the East, greater than all the wisdom of Egypt.

31Был он мудрее всех людей, мудрее Ефана из Езрахита, Емана, Халкола, Дарды, сыновей Махола. Его имя славилось у всех окрестных народов.He was wiser than all men—wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite, and wiser than Heman, Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol. And his fame spread throughout the surrounding nations.

32Он сказал три тысячи притч и сочинил тысячу пять песен.Solomon composed three thousand proverbs, and his songs numbered a thousand and five.
