Jeremiah 43 (ROB)

The LORD our God has not sent you to say, ‘You must not go to Egypt to reside there.’

3Потому что Варух, сын Нирии, настраивает тебя против нас, чтобы отдать нас в руки халдеев, и чтобы они убили нас или отвели нас пленными в Вавилон».Rather, Baruch son of Neriah is inciting you against us to deliver us into the hands of the Chaldeans, so that they may put us to death or exile us to Babylon!”

4Иоанан, сын Карея, все военачальники и весь народ не послушали голоса Господа, чтобы остаться жить в иудейской земле.So Johanan son of Kareah and all the commanders of the forces disobeyed the command of the LORD to stay in the land of Judah.

5И взял Иоанан, сын Карея, и все военачальники оставшихся иудеев, которые вернулись из всех народов, куда они были изгнаны, чтобы жить в иудейской земле:Instead, Johanan son of Kareah and all the commanders of the forces took the whole remnant of Judah, those who had returned to the land of Judah from all the nations to which they had been scattered,

7Они пошли в египетскую землю, не послушав голоса Господа, и дошли до Тафниса.So they entered the land of Egypt because they did not obey the voice of the LORD, and they went as far as Tahpanhes.

8И было слово Господа к Иеремии в Тафнисе:Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah at Tahpanhes:

9«Возьми в руки большие камни и спрячь их в глине у входа в дом фараона в Тафнисе. Сделай это перед иудеями.“In the sight of the Jews, pick up some large stones and bury them in the clay of the brick pavement at the entrance to Pharaoh’s palace at Tahpanhes.

10Скажи им: "Так говорит Господь Саваоф, Бог Израиля: "Я пошлю и возьму вавилонского царя Навуходоносора, Моего слугу, и поставлю его престол на этих камнях, скрытых Мной. И он раскинет над ним свой великолепный шатёр.Then tell them that this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘I will send for My servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and I will set his throne over these stones that I have embedded, and he will spread his royal pavilion over them.

11Он придёт и уничтожит египетскую землю: кто должен умереть, тот умрёт, кому в плен, тому в плен, кому меч, тому меч.He will come and strike down the land of Egypt, bringing death to those destined for death, captivity to those destined for captivity, and the sword to those destined for the sword.

12Я зажгу огонь в домах богов египтян. 13Он уничтожит статуи в Бефсамисе, который в египетской земле, и дома египетских богов сожжёт"».He will demolish the sacred pillars of the temple of the sun in the land of Egypt, and he will burn down the temples of the gods of Egypt.’”
