BSB BSB: And Gilead’s wife bore him sons who grew up, drove Jephthah out, and said to him, “You shall have no inheritance in our father’s house, because you are the son of another woman.”
3 ROB Иеффай убежал от своих братьев и жил в земле Тов. К Иеффаю собирались праздные люди и ходили с ним. BSB BSB: So Jephthah fled from his brothers and settled in the land of Tob, where worthless men gathered around him and traveled with him.
4 ROB Через некоторое время аммонитяне пошли войной на Израиль. BSB BSB: Some time later, when the Ammonites fought against Israel
5 ROB Во время войны аммонитян с израильтянами пришли старейшины Галаада забрать Иеффая из земли Тов BSB BSB: and made war with them, the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob.
6 ROB и сказали Иеффаю: «Приди, будь у нас вождём, и сразимся с аммонитянами». BSB BSB: “Come,” they said, “be our commander, so that we can fight against the Ammonites.”
7 ROB Иеффай сказал старейшинам Галаада: «Не вы ли возненавидели меня и выгнали из дома моего отца? Зачем же пришли ко мне теперь, когда вы в беде?» BSB BSB: Jephthah replied to the elders of Gilead, “Did you not hate me and expel me from my father’s house? Why then have you come to me now, when you are in distress?”
8 ROB Старейшины Галаада сказали Иеффаю: «Мы пришли к тебе теперь для того, чтобы ты пошёл с нами и сразился с аммонитянами, и был у нас начальником всех жителей Галаада». BSB BSB: They answered Jephthah, “This is why we now turn to you, that you may go with us, fight the Ammonites, and become leader over all of us who live in Gilead.”
9 ROB Иеффай сказал старейшинам Галаада: «Если вы вернёте меня, чтобы сразиться с аммонитянами, и Господь отдаст их мне, то останусь ли я у вас начальником?» BSB BSB: But Jephthah asked them, “If you take me back to fight the Ammonites and the LORD gives them to me, will I really be your leader?”
10 ROB Старейшины Галаада сказали Иеффаю: «Пусть Господь будет свидетелем между нами, что мы сделаем по твоему слову!» BSB BSB: And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, “The LORD is our witness if we do not do as you say.”
11 ROB И пошёл Иеффай со старейшинами Галаада. Народ поставил его над собой начальником и вождём, и Иеффай произнёс все свои слова перед лицом Господа в Массифе. BSB BSB: So Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him their leader and commander. And Jephthah repeated all his terms in the presence of the LORD at Mizpah.
12 ROB Иеффай отправил посланников к аммонитскому царю сказать: «Какое тебе до меня дело, что ты пришёл ко мне воевать на моей земле?» BSB BSB: Then Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the Ammonites, saying, “What do you have against me that you have come to fight against my land?”
13 ROB Аммонитский царь сказал посланникам Иеффая: «Когда Израиль шёл из Египта, то взял мою землю от Арнона до Иавока и Иордана. Итак, верни мне её с миром». BSB BSB: The king of the Ammonites answered Jephthah’s messengers, “When Israel came up out of Egypt, they seized my land, from the Arnon to the Jabbok and all the way to the Jordan. Now, therefore, restore it peaceably.”
14 ROB Иеффай в другой раз отправил посланников к аммонитскому царю BSB BSB: Jephthah again sent messengers to the king of the Ammonites
15 ROB сказать ему: «Так говорит Иеффай: "Израиль не взял моавитской земли и аммонитской земли, BSB BSB: to tell him, “This is what Jephthah says: Israel did not take away the land of Moab or of the Ammonites.
16 ROB потому что, когда шли из Египта, Израиль пошёл в пустыню к Красному морю и пришёл в Кадес. BSB BSB: But when Israel came up out of Egypt, they traveled through the wilderness to the Red Sea and came to Kadesh.
17 ROB Оттуда Израиль отправил посланников к едомскому царю сказать: "Позволь мне пройти по твоей земле", но едомский царь не послушал. И к моавитскому царю он посылал, но и тот не согласился, поэтому Израиль оставался в Кадесе. BSB BSB: Then Israel sent messengers to the king of Edom, saying, ‘Please let us pass through your land,’ but the king of Edom would not listen. They also sent messengers to the king of Moab, but he would not consent. So Israel stayed in Kadesh.
18 ROB Он пошёл через пустыню, обошёл едомскую землю и моавитскую землю, и, придя к восточной границе моавитской земли, расположился лагерем за Арноном, но не входил на моавитские территории, потому что Арнон является границей Моава. BSB BSB: Then Israel traveled through the wilderness and bypassed the lands of Edom and Moab. They came to the east side of the land of Moab and camped on the other side of the Arnon. But they did not enter the territory of Moab, since the Arnon was its border.
19 ROB Израиль отправил послов к аморрейскому царю Сигону, царю Есевона, и сказал ему Израиль: "Позволь нам пройти по твоей земле в своё место". BSB BSB: And Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon, and said to him, ‘Please let us pass through your land into our own place.’
20 ROB Но Сигон не согласился пропустить Израиль через свои границы. Сигон собрал весь свой народ, расположился лагерем в Иааце и сразился с Израилем. BSB BSB: But Sihon would not trust Israel to pass through his territory. So he gathered all his people, encamped in Jahaz, and fought with Israel.
21 ROB Господь, Бог Израиля, отдал Сигон и весь его народ в руки Израилю, и он побил их. И получил Израиль в наследство всю землю Аморрея, жившего в той земле. BSB BSB: Then the LORD, the God of Israel, delivered Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel, who defeated them. So Israel took possession of all the land of the Amorites who inhabited that country,
22 ROB Они получили в наследство все границы Аморрея от Арнона до Иавока и от пустыни до Иордана. BSB BSB: seizing all the land from the Arnon to the Jabbok and from the wilderness to the Jordan.
23 ROB Итак, Господь, Бог Израиля, изгнал Аморрея от лица Своего народа Израиля, а ты хочешь взять его наследство? BSB BSB: Now since the LORD, the God of Israel, has driven out the Amorites from before His people Israel, should you now possess it?
24 ROB Не владеешь ли ты тем, что дал тебе Хамос, твой бог? И мы владеем всем тем, что дал нам в наследство Господь, наш Бог. BSB BSB: Do you not possess whatever your god Chemosh grants you? So also, we possess whatever the LORD our God has granted us.
25 ROB Разве ты лучше моавитского царя Валака, сына Сепфора? Ссорился ли он с Израилем или воевал против него? BSB BSB: Are you now so much better than Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab? Did he ever contend with Israel or fight against them?
26 ROB Израиль уже триста лет живёт в Есевоне и в зависящих от него городах, в Ароере и зависящих от него городах, и во всех городах, которые возле Арнона. Почему вы в то время не отнимали их? BSB BSB: For three hundred years Israel has lived in Heshbon, Aroer, and their villages, as well as all the cities along the banks of the Arnon. Why did you not take them back during that time?
27 ROB А я не виновен перед тобой, и ты делаешь мне зло, выступив против меня войной. Господь Судья пусть будет теперь судьёй между сыновьями Израиля и аммонитянами!"» BSB BSB: I have not sinned against you, but you have done me wrong by waging war against me. May the LORD, the Judge, decide today between the Israelites and the Ammonites.”
28 ROB Но аммонитский царь не послушал слов Иеффая, с которыми он посылал к нему. BSB BSB: But the king of the Ammonites paid no heed to the message Jephthah sent him.
31 ROB то по возвращении моём то, что выйдет из ворот моего дома мне навстречу, будет Господу, и вознесу это во всесожжение». BSB BSB: then whatever comes out the door of my house to greet me on my triumphant return from the Ammonites will belong to the LORD, and I will offer it up as a burnt offering.”
32 ROB Иеффай пришёл к аммонитянам сразиться с ними, и отдал их Господь в его руки. BSB BSB: So Jephthah crossed over to the Ammonites to fight against them, and the LORD delivered them into his hand.
33 ROB И поразил их очень великим поражением, от Ароера до Минифа двадцать городов, и до Авель-Керамима. И аммонитяне смирились перед сыновьями Израиля. BSB BSB: With a great blow he devastated twenty cities from Aroer to the vicinity of Minnith, as far as Abel-keramim. So the Ammonites were subdued before the Israelites.
34 ROB Иеффай пришёл в Массифу в свой дом. И вот, его дочь выходит ему навстречу с бубнами и танцами: она у него была одна, и не было у него больше ни сына, ни дочери. BSB BSB: And when Jephthah returned home to Mizpah, there was his daughter coming out to meet him with tambourines and dancing! She was his only child; he had no son or daughter besides her.
35 ROB Когда он увидел её, разодрал свою одежду и сказал: «Ах, дочь моя! Ты сразила меня, и ты нарушила мой покой! Я открыл мои уста перед Господом и не могу отречься». BSB BSB: As soon as Jephthah saw her, he tore his clothes and said, “No! Not my daughter! You have brought me to my knees! You have brought great misery upon me, for I have given my word to the LORD and cannot take it back.”
36 ROB Она сказала ему: «Отец мой! Ты открыл твои уста перед Господом и делай со мной то, что произнесли твои уста, когда Господь совершил через тебя возмездие твоим врагам аммонитянам». BSB BSB: “My father,” she replied, “you have given your word to the LORD. Do to me as you have said, for the LORD has avenged you of your enemies, the Ammonites.”
38 ROB Он сказал: «Пойди»,— и отпустил её на два месяца. Она пошла со своими подругами и оплакивала свою девственность в горах. BSB BSB: “Go,” he said. And he sent her away for two months. So she left with her friends and mourned her virginity upon the mountains.
40 ROB что ежегодно дочери Израиля ходили оплакивать дочь гааладитянина Иеффая четыре дня в году. BSB BSB: that each year the young women of Israel go out for four days to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite.
