1Молодые львы бедствуют и голодают, а ищущие Господа не нуждаются ни в каком добре. Дети, придите и послушайте меня: научу вас страху перед Господом.Of David, when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, so that the king drove him away. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.

2Кто из людей хочет жить и любит долголетие, чтобы видеть доброе?My soul boasts in the LORD; let the oppressed hear and rejoice.

3Удерживай свой язык от зла и свой рот— от коварных слов.Magnify the LORD with me; let us exalt His name together.

4Удаляйся от зла и делай добро, ищи мира и следуй за ним.I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.

5Глаза Господа направлены на праведников, и Его уши— к их крику.Those who look to Him are radiant with joy; their faces shall never be ashamed.

6Но Господь против тех, кто делает зло, чтобы уничтожить с земли память о них.This poor man called out, and the LORD heard him; He saved him from all his troubles.

7Зовут праведные, и Господь слышит и избавляет их от всех скорбей.The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and he delivers them.

8Господь близок к сломленным сердцем и смиренных духом спасёт.Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

9Много скорбей у праведного, и от всех их избавит его Господь.Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.

10Он хранит все его кости, ни одна из них не сломается.Young lions go lacking and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

11Грешника убьёт зло, и ненавидящие праведного погибнут.Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12Господь избавит душу Своих рабов, и никто из полагающихся на Него не погибнет.Who is the man who delights in life, who desires to see good days?

13Псалом Давида. Господь, судись с теми, кто судится со мной, борись с теми, кто борется со мной.Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech.

14Возьми щит и латы и поднимись мне на помощь.Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

15Обнажи меч и прегради путь преследующим меня. Скажи моей душе: «Я— твоё спасение!»The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are inclined to their cry.

16Пусть будут в позоре и стыде те, кто ищет моей души. Пусть повернут назад и покроются позором те, кто замышляет зло против меня.But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to wipe out all memory of them from the earth.

17Пусть они будут как пыль на ветру, и пусть ангел Господа прогоняет их.The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears; He delivers them from all their troubles.

18Пусть их путь будет тёмным и скользким, и пусть ангел Господа преследует их,The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit.

19за то, что они без причины натянули сеть над ямой для меня, без причины выкопали её для моей души.Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all.

20Пусть придёт на них неожиданная гибель, и пусть их сеть, которую они раскинули для меня, уловит их самих, пусть они попадут в неё и погибнут.He protects all his bones; not one of them will be broken.

21А моя душа будет радостно кричать о Господе, будет веселиться о том, что Он дал спасение.Evil will slay the wicked, and the haters of the righteous will be condemned.

22Все мои кости скажут: «Господь, Кто подобен Тебе! Ты избавляешь слабого от сильного, бедного и нищего от грабителя».The LORD redeems His servants, and none who take refuge in Him will be condemned.
