1. 1ULBВ третий раз уже иду к вам. При двух или трёх свидетелях будет твёрдо всякое слово.BSBBSB: This is the third time I am coming to you. “Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.”
2. 2ULBЯ предупреждал и предупреждаю, как бы находясь у вас во второй раз, и теперь, отсутствуя, пишу ранее согрешившим и всем другим, что, когда опять приду, не пощажу.BSBBSB: I already warned you the second time I was with you. So now in my absence I warn those who sinned earlier and everyone else: If I return, I will not spare anyone,
3. 3ULBВы ищете доказательства того, Христос ли говорит во мне: Он не бессилен для вас, но силён в вас.BSBBSB: since you are demanding proof that Christ is speaking through me. He is not weak in dealing with you but is powerful among you.
4. 4ULBПотому что хотя Он и распят в слабости, но жив Божьей силой. И мы также, хотя слабы в Нём, но будем живы с Ним Божьей силой в вас.BSBBSB: For He was indeed crucified in weakness, yet He lives by God’s power. For we are also weak in Him, yet by God’s power we will live with Him concerning you.
5. 5ULBПроверяйте самих себя, в вере ли вы. Самих себя исследуйте. Неужели вы не знаете самих себя, что Иисус Христос в вас? Разве только вы не те, кем должны быть.BSBBSB: Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you fail the test?
6. 6ULBО нас же, надеюсь, узнаете, что мы те, кем должны быть.BSBBSB: And I hope you will realize that we have not failed the test.
7. 7ULBМолим Бога, чтобы вы не делали никакого зла, не для того, чтобы нам показаться, кем должны быть, но чтобы вы делали добро, даже если бы и мы оказались не тем, кем должны быть.BSBBSB: Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong—not that we will appear to have stood the test, but that you will do what is right, even if we appear to have failed.
8. 8ULBПотому что мы не имеем силы против истины, но сильны за истину.BSBBSB: For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.
9. 9ULBМы радуемся, когда мы слабы, а вы сильны, об этом и молимся, о вашем совершенстве.BSBBSB: In fact, we rejoice when we are weak but you are strong, and our prayer is for your perfection.
10. 10ULBДля того я и пишу это отсутствуя, чтобы, присутсвуя, не употреблять строгости власти, данной мне Господом к созиданию, а не к разрушению.BSBBSB: This is why I write these things while absent, so that when I am present I will not need to be severe in my use of the authority that the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down.
11. 11ULBВпрочем, братья, радуйтесь, совершенствуйтесь, утешайтесь, будьте единомышленниками, мирными– и Бог любви и мира будет с вами.BSBBSB: Finally, brothers, rejoice! Aim for perfect harmony, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
12. 12ULBПриветствуйте друг друга святым целованием. Приветствуют вас все святые.BSBBSB: Greet one another with a holy kiss.
13. 14ULBБлагодать нашего Господа Иисуса Христа, и любовь Бога Отца, и общение Святого Духа со всеми вами. Аминь.BSBBSB: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
