1При наступлении дня Пятидесятницы все они были единодушно вместе.When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

2И внезапно раздался шум с неба, словно несущийся сильный ветер, и наполнил весь дом, где они находились.Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3И явились им разделяющиеся языки, будто огненные, и остановились по одному на каждого из них.They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

4Все исполнились Святым Духом, и начали говорить на других языках, как Дух наделил их говорить.And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

5В Иерусалиме находились иудеи, люди набожные, от каждогонарода под небесами.Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.

6Когда раздался этот шум, собрался народ и пришёл в замешательство, так как каждый слышал их говорящими на его наречии.And when this sound rang out, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking his own language.

7Изумлялись и удивлялись, говоря между собой: «Не все ли эти говорящие Галилеяне?Astounded and amazed, they asked, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans?

8Почему же мы слышим каждый своё наречие, в котором родились?How is it then that each of us hears them in his own native language?

9И Парфяне, и Медяне, и Еламиты, и жители Месопотамии, Иудеи и Кападокии, Понта и Асии,Parthians, Medes, and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,

10Фригии и Памфилии, Египта и частей Ливии, прилежащих к Киринеи, и пришедшие из Рима, иудеи и прозелиты,Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome,

11критяне и аравитяне, слышим их, говорящими нашими языками о великих Божьих делах».both Jews and converts to Judaism; Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”

12Все удивлялись и в растерянности говорили друг другу: «Что это значит?»Astounded and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

13А другие, насмехаясь, говорили: «Они напились сладкого вина».But others mocked them and said, “They are drunk on new wine!”

14Пётр же, встав с одиннадцатью, возвысил свой голос и громко сказал им: «Мужи иудейские и все живущие в Иерусалиме! Да будет вам это известно, и прислушайтесь к словам моим:Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice, and addressed the crowd: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words.

15они не пьяны, как вы думаете, потому что сейчас девять часов утра.These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day!

16Но это предсказано пророком Иоилем:No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17"И будет в последние дни, говорит Бог, изолью от Моего Духа на любого человека, и будут пророчествовать ваши сыновья и ваши дочери, и ваши юноши будут видеть видения, и вашим старцам будут сниться сны.‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

18И на Моих рабов и на Моих рабынь в те дни изолью от Моего Духа, и будут пророчествовать.Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

19И покажу чудеса вверху на небе и знамения внизу на земле: и кровь, и огонь, и курение дыма.I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

20Солнце превратится в тьму, и луна в кровь, прежде чем наступит день Господа, великий и славный.The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.

21И будет: каждый, кто призовёт имя Господа, спасётся".And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

22Мужи Израильские! Выслушайте эти слова: Иисуса Назорея, Мужа, указанного Богом для вас силами, чудесами и знамениями, которые Бог сделал через Него среди вас, как и сами знаете.Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know.

23Его, по определённой воле и замыслу Бога, предали, а вы взяли и, пригвоздив руками беззаконных, убили,He was delivered up by God’s set plan and foreknowledge, and you, by the hands of the lawless, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross.

24но Бог воскресил Его, разорвав узы смерти, потому что ей невозможно было Его удержать.But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep Him in its grip.

25Поэтому Давид говорит о Нём: "Всегда предвидел я Господа перед моими глазами, потому что Он по правую руку от меня, чтобы я не пошатнулся.David says about Him: ‘I saw the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

26И потому восторжествовало моё сердце и развеселился мой язык, и даже моя плоть найдёт покой в надежде,Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will dwell in hope,

27потому что Ты не оставишь мою душу в аду и не дашь Твоему святому увидеть тления.because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay.

28Ты дал мне познать путь жизни, Ты наполнишь меня радостью перед Твоим лицом".You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.’

29Мужи, братья! Да будет позволено мне смело сказать вам о нашем патриархе Давиде, что он умер, похоронен, и гробница его у нас даже до этого дня.Brothers, I can tell you with confidence that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

30Являясь пророком и зная, что Бог с клятвою обещал ему, посадить его потомка на престоле,But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that He would place one of his descendants on his throne.

31и предвидя это, Давид сказал о воскресении Христа, что Он не останется в аду и плоть Его не увидит тления.Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay.

32Этого Иисуса Бог воскресил, чему мы все свидетели.God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses.

33Итак, Он был вознесён рукой Бога, приняв от Отца обещание Святого Духа, излил то, что вы сейчас видите и слышите.Exalted, then, to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

34Ведь Давид не взошёл на небеса, тем не менее он говорит: "Сказал Господь Господу моему: "Садись по правую руку от Меня,For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand

35до тех пор пока не положу Твоих врагов к Твоим ногам".until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’

36Итак, твёрдо знай, весь дом Израиля, что Бог сделал Господом и Христом Этого Иисуса, Которого вы распяли».Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!”

37Услышав это, они сокрушились сердцем и сказали Петру и другим апостолам: «Что нам делать, братья?»When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

38Пётр сказал им: «Покайтесь, и пусть каждый из вас крестится во имя Иисуса Христа для прощения грехов, и получите дар Святого Духа.Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39Потому что обещание принадлежит и вам, и вашим детям, и всем дальним, кого ни призовёт наш Господь Бог».This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off—to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself.”

40И множеством других слов он свидетельствовал и убеждал их: «Спасайтесь от этого развращённого поколения».With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.”

41Итак, радостно принявшие его слова крестились, и в тот день присоединилось около трёх тысяч человек.Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day.

42И они постоянно пребывали в учении апостолов, в общении, преломлении хлеба и в молитвах.They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

43Был страх в каждой душе, и много чудес и знамений совершилось через апостолов в Иерусалиме.A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.

44Все верующие были вместе и имели всё общее.All the believers were together and had everything in common.

45И продавали имения и собственность и разделяли всем по нуждам каждого.Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.

46И каждый день они единодушно находились в храме, преломляя хлеб по домам, принимали пищу в веселии и простоте сердца,With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart,

47хваля Бога и находясь в любви у всего народа. И Господь ежедневно прибавлял спасаемых к Церкви.praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
