1. 1SPABLLCuando los seres humanos comenzaron a multiplicarse sobre la tierra y tuvieron hijas,BSBBSB: Now when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born to them,
2. 2SPABLLlos hijos de Dios vieron que las hijas de los hombres eran hermosas, y tomaron por esposas a las que más les gustaron.BSBBSB: the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took as wives whomever they chose.
3. 3SPABLLEntonces Yahvé dijo: “Mi Espíritu no permanecerá en el hombre para siempre, porque él no es más que carne mortal. Por eso, el hombre no vivirá más de ciento veinte años”.BSBBSB: So the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days shall be 120 years.”
4. 4SPABLLEn aquellos días, y aun después, había gigantes en la tierra. Éstos eran los hijos que los hijos de Dios tuvieron con las hijas de los hombres. 6. 6SPABLLse arrepintió de haber hecho al hombre en la tierra, y le dolió en el corazón.BSBBSB: And the LORD regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.
7. 7SPABLLPor eso dijo Yahvé: “Voy a borrar de la superficie de la tierra a estos hombres que he creado, y también a los animales, a los reptiles y a las aves del cielo. ¡Me pesa haberlos hecho!”BSBBSB: So the LORD said, “I will blot out man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—every man and beast and crawling creature and bird of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them.”
8. 8SPABLLPero Noé contaba con el favor de Yahvé.BSBBSB: Noah, however, found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
9. 9SPABLLÉsta es la historia de Noé. Noé era un hombre justo y honrado entre sus contemporáneos. Siempre vivió en íntima comunión con Dios.BSBBSB: This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation; Noah walked with God.

12. 12SPABLLAl ver Dios tanta corrupción en la tierra, pues todos los seres humanos se habían corrompido,BSBBSB: And God looked upon the earth and saw that it was corrupt; for all living creatures on the earth had corrupted their ways.
13. 13SPABLLle dijo a Noé: “He decidido poner fin a toda la humanidad, porque la tierra está llena de violencia por culpa de ellos. ¡Voy a destruirlos junto con la tierra!BSBBSB: Then God said to Noah, “The end of all living creatures has come before Me, because through them the earth is full of violence. Now behold, I will destroy both them and the earth.
14. 14SPABLLAsí que hazte un arca de madera de ciprés, con compartimentos, y recúbrela con brea por dentro y por fuera.BSBBSB: Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood; make rooms in the ark and coat it with pitch inside and out.
15. 15SPABLLHazla de estas medidas: ciento treinta y ocho metros de largo, veintitrés metros de ancho y catorce metros de alto.BSBBSB: And this is how you are to build it: The ark is to be 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high.
16. 16SPABLLHazle un techo, dejando una abertura de medio metro entre el techo y los costados. Pon la puerta en uno de sus lados, y construye tres pisos en el arca.BSBBSB: You are to make a roof for the ark, finish its walls a cubit from the top, place a door in the side of the ark, and build lower, middle, and upper decks.
17. 17SPABLLYo voy a enviar un diluvio sobre la tierra, para destruir a todos los seres que tienen aliento de vida bajo el cielo. ¡Todo lo que hay en la tierra morirá!BSBBSB: And behold, I will bring floodwaters upon the earth to destroy every creature under the heavens that has the breath of life. Everything on the earth will perish.
18. 18SPABLLPero contigo estableceré mi pacto. Tú entrarás en el arca, y contigo tus hijos, tu mujer y tus nueras.BSBBSB: But I will establish My covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.
19. 19SPABLLTambién meterás en el arca una pareja de cada especie de todos los seres vivos, para que sobrevivan contigo; tienen que ser macho y hembra.BSBBSB: And you are to bring two of every living creature into the ark—male and female—to keep them alive with you.
20. 20SPABLLDe cada especie de aves, de animales y de reptiles, entrará contigo una pareja para que sobrevivan.BSBBSB: Two of every kind of bird and animal and crawling creature will come to you to be kept alive.
21. 21SPABLLAsegúrate de llevar toda clase de alimentos y de almacenarlos, para que tú y ellos tengan qué comer”.BSBBSB: You are also to take for yourself every kind of food that is eaten and gather it as food for yourselves and for the animals.”
22. 22SPABLLNoé lo hizo así; cumplió al pie de la letra con todo lo que Dios le había ordenado.BSBBSB: So Noah did everything precisely as God had commanded him.
