5 STF Ko je taj koji svet pobeрuje, ako nije onaj koji veruje da je Isus Sin Boћji? BSB BSB: Who then overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
6 STF On je taj koji je doљao vodom i krvlju, Isus Hristos; ne samo vodom, nego vodom i krvlju; i Duh je koji svedoиi, jer je Duh istina. BSB BSB: This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ—not by water alone, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies to this, because the Spirit is the truth.
7 STF Jer je troje љto svedoиi: BSB BSB: For there are three that testify:
8 STF Duh, voda i krv, i ovo troje svedoиi jedno. BSB BSB: the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and these three are in agreement.
9 STF Kad primamo svedoиanstvo иoveиje, sedoиanstvo je Boћje veжe, jer je ovo svedoиanstvo Boћje, da je posvedoиio za Sina svoga. BSB BSB: Even if we accept human testimony, the testimony of God is greater. For this is the testimony that God has given about His Son.
10 STF Koji veruje u Sina Boћjeg, ima svedoиanstvo u sebi. Koji ne veruje Bogu, naиinio ga je laћom, jer nije verovao u svedoиanstvo kojim je Bog zasvedoиio za Sina svoga. BSB BSB: Whoever believes in the Son of God has this testimony within him; whoever does not believe God has made Him out to be a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given about His Son.
12 STF Ko ima Sina, ima ћivot; ko nema Sina Boћjega, nema ћivota. BSB BSB: Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
14 STF I ovo je pouzdanje koje imamo u njega, da nas sluљa ako љto molimo po njegovoj volji. BSB BSB: And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
15 STF I kad znamo da nas sluљa љto god molimo, znamo (i to) da жe nam dati љto iљtemo u njega. BSB BSB: And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him.
16 STF Ako ko vidi brata svoga gde иini greh koji ne donosi smrt, neka moli, i daжe mu ћivot,- onima koji ne greљe da umru. Ima greh smrtni: ne velim za taj da moli. BSB BSB: If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he should ask God, who will give life to those who commit this kind of sin. There is a sin that leads to death; I am not saying he should ask regarding that sin.
17 STF Svako je nedelo greh; ali ima greh koji ne donosi smrt. BSB BSB: All unrighteousness is sin, yet there is sin that does not lead to death.
18 STF Znamo da nijedan koji je roрen od Boga, ne greљi, nego ga roрeni od Boga иuva, i neиastivi ga se ne dotiиe. BSB BSB: We know that anyone born of God does not keep on sinning; the One who was born of God protects him, and the evil one cannot touch him.
19 STF Znamo da smo od Boga, a sav je svet u vlasti neиastivoga. BSB BSB: We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one.
20 STF Ali znamo da je Sin Boћji doљao, i dao nam je razum da poznamo Istinitoga, i jesmo u Istinitome, u Sinu njegovu Isusu Hristu. Ovo je istiniti Bog i ћivot veиni. BSB BSB: And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
21 STF Deиice, иuvajte se od idola. BSB BSB: Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
