22 STF da vam je odloћiti prijaљnje ponaљanje, starog covjeka, koga varave poћude vode u propast, BSB BSB: to put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
23 STF a obnavljati se duhom svoje pameti BSB BSB: to be renewed in the spirit of your minds;
24 STF i obuci novog covjeka, po Bogu stvorena u pravednosti i svetosti istine. BSB BSB: and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
25 STF Zato odloћite laћ i govorite istinu jedan drugomu jer udovi smo jedni drugima. BSB BSB: Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one another.
26 STF Srdite se, ali ne grijeљite! Sunce nek ne zade nad vaљom srdћbom BSB BSB: “Be angry, yet do not sin.” Do not let the sun set upon your anger,
27 STF i ne dajite mjesta davlu. BSB BSB: and do not give the devil a foothold.
28 STF Tko je krao, neka viљe ne krade, nego neka se radije trudi svojim rukama priskrbljivati da ima љto podijeliti s potrebnim. BSB BSB: He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing good with his own hands, that he may have something to share with the one in need.
29 STF Nikakva nevaljala rijec neka ne izlazi iz vaљih usta, nego samo dobra, da prema potrebi saziduje i milost iskaћe sluљateljima. BSB BSB: Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up the one in need and bringing grace to those who listen.
30 STF I ne ћalostite Duha Svetoga, Boћjega, kojim ste opecaceni za Dan otkupljenja! BSB BSB: And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 STF Daleko od vas svaka gorcina, i srdћba, i gnjev, i vika, i hula sa svom opakoљcu! BSB BSB: Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice.
32 STF Naprotiv! Budite jedni drugima dobrostivi, milosrdni; praљtajte jedni drugima kao љto i Bog u Kristu nama oprosti. BSB BSB: Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.
