1 STF Jer svaki prvosveљtenik koji se iz ljudi uzima, postavlja se da bude posrednik izmeрu ljudi i Boga, da prinosi dare i ћrtve za grehe, BSB BSB: Every high priest is appointed from among men to represent them in matters relating to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.

4 STF I niko ne prisvaja sam sebi ove иasti, nego, kao i Aron, pozvan od Boga. BSB BSB: No one takes this honor upon himself; he must be called by God, just as Aaron was.
5 STF Tako i Hristos ne proslavi sam sebe da bude prvosveљtenik, nego onaj koji mu reиe: "Ti si Sin moj, ja sam te danas rodio", BSB BSB: So also Christ did not take upon Himself the glory of becoming a high priest, but He was called by the One who said to Him: “You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.”
6 STF kao љto i na drugom mestu govori: "Ti si sveљtenik veиni, kao љto je Melhisedek". BSB BSB: And in another passage God says: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”
7 STF On za svoga zemaljskog ћivota s velikom vikom i sa suzama prinese molitve i moljenja k onome koji ga je mogao izbaviti od smrti, i bi usliљen za poboћnost svoju. BSB BSB: During the days of Jesus’ earthly life, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence.
8 STF Iako je bio Sin, od onoga љto je pretrpeo nauиi se posluљnosti, BSB BSB: Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered.
9 STF i, savrљivљi se, postade svima koji ga sluљaju uzrok spasenja veиnoga, BSB BSB: And having been made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him
10 STF nazvan od Boga "prvosveљtenik kao љto je Melhisedek". BSB BSB: and was designated by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
11 STF O tome bismo imali mnogo govoriti, ali bi bilo teљko protumaиiti, jer ste postali nagluvi. BSB BSB: We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain, because you are dull of hearing.
12 STF Jer vi koji bi trebali da ste uиitelji po vremenu, opet trebate da vas ko uиi prve poиetke reиi Boћjih, i opet trebate mleka, a ne tvrde hrane. BSB BSB: Although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to reteach you the basic principles of God’s word. You need milk, not solid food!
13 STF Jer koji se god hrani mlekom, ne razume reиi o pravednosti, jer je dete. BSB BSB: For everyone who lives on milk is still an infant, inexperienced in the message of righteousness.
14 STF A tvrda je hrana za savrљene, иija su иula dugim uиenjem obuиena za razlikovanje dobra i zla. BSB BSB: But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained their senses to distinguish good from evil.
